Chapter 1: Welcome to the Afterlife… Please Die Slowly

Section 1: The Stupid Death
I had always imagined dying a hero. Or, at the very least, going out in a way that would impress my non-existent friends. You know, something like saving a puppy from a burning building, or heroically diving in front of a speeding car to push someone out of the way.
What I got, however, was far less glamorous.
One second, I was sitting on my bed, munching on snacks while binge-watching the latest anime I'd downloaded off the internet. My eyes were glued to the screen as the heroine's epic battle with the demon lord reached its climax, her voluptuous form glistening under the moonlight, when I felt a sharp pain in my chest.
I glanced down. My stomach flipped in horror as I saw the waifu body pillow—yes, you read that right—slip from my lap and the edge of the desk. The pillow tilted and I panicked, reaching for it. But in my attempt to catch it, I fumbled, lost my balance, and slipped off the side of the bed.
Next thing I knew, I was laying face-first in a pile of empty snack bags and hentai figurines, my skull making intimate contact with the corner of a desk.
Blackout.
I didn't even feel a thing. At least I could say it was quick, right?

Section 2: Welcome to My New Life (or Death, I Guess)
I woke up in a soft, glowing light. My head didn't hurt, but I felt… different. The ground beneath me wasn't solid, more like floating on an endless cloud of mist. Above, below, and everywhere I looked were glowing stars, swirling in patterns that felt like they were speaking to me.
"Is this… the afterlife?"
I stood up, but the ground had no real texture—nothing to give me any idea of what was happening.
Suddenly, a loud voice boomed in the air, echoing with authority.
> [Welcome, Chosen Vessel.]
I blinked. "Chosen? What? I didn't even sign up for anything. I was just trying to watch some anime!"
The voice ignored me and continued:
> [You have been selected as the Host of the God of Lust's Fragment.]
There was a strange pulse in my chest, like something was tugging at me, urging me to listen.
"Wait, did you just say—?"
But the voice kept going.
> [Warning: You are now a divine anomaly.]
[Current Status: Target of Elimination by ALL Celestial Factions.]
"Target of—Wait! What?!"
I spun around, but the glowing stars surrounding me just danced, as if mocking me.
Before I could process what was happening, a screen flashed in front of me. A holographic display, showing strange symbols and words.
> [System Activated: Lustbound System.]
[Objective: Survive. Seduce. Ascend.]
A strange, pulsating energy surged through me, making my head spin. The feeling was foreign, intoxicating. The words burned into my mind, but I couldn't quite comprehend what they meant.
What the hell was going on?
Before I could try to make sense of it, another voice echoed, this one much softer, yet dripping with authority.
> [Prepare yourself, mortal.]
The air around me shimmered, and a figure materialized. A figure so stunning it almost made my heart stop.
She was tall, cloaked in armor that glowed with divine light. Golden eyes, filled with righteous fury, locked onto me with such intensity that I could feel them pierce through my very soul.
But it wasn't just her gaze. The way she carried herself. The way her blonde, fiery hair seemed to burn with a life of its own. It was like she had stepped out of a dream. Or maybe a nightmare.
Her armor shimmered with holy runes. She was a goddess, no doubt about it. A Goddess of Wrath—I could feel that much.
Without warning, she swung her sword down toward me with a speed so fast it blurred.
"You dare steal the power of the God of Lust? You will die for this sacrilege, mortal!"
SHING!
Her sword crashed toward me, but I didn't even have time to react. The glowing light of her weapon was blinding.
But something strange happened. The air around me felt… warmer? No, not warm. Hot. There was something else there—something familiar.
Then, just as quickly, her sword stopped.
My eyes widened in shock. The blade was now held just inches from my throat, trembling. Her eyes flickered, her lips parted in confusion.
"W-What…?"

I blinked at her, more confused than anything else. What the hell was happening?
"Did you… just stop trying to kill me?" I stammered, trying to make sense of the situation.
She took a step back, her divine aura flickering. "I… I was trying to execute you for your transgression, but…"
She looked me up and down, eyes narrowing as she scanned me in a way that made my body tingle in the most confusing way.

I felt the energy surge within me. What the hell was this? Why was my body reacting to this woman like… like I—
No way.
Her eyes widened further, and her sword started trembling in her hands. "I… I don't understand," she muttered. "I should have killed you instantly, but…"
I blinked, completely unsure of what was happening. My chest tightened, and then I heard it—the faintest whisper in my mind:
> [Bonding: Goddess of Wrath.]
"Bonding? What kind of bonding?" I muttered to myself, but before I could say more, she stepped back, her divine aura flickering more violently now.
"You…" she trailed off, her voice softer than before. "You… affect me."

Wait. Seduce? Was this… was this the system thing talking? It sounded like it, but what was going on? Was I getting a goddess to—?
No. This couldn't be real. This was some kind of weird dream. A messed-up afterlife simulation or something.
I turned to her, hoping I could make some sense of it.
"Look, I know this is a weird situation, but can we—?"
Before I could finish, she cut me off, her voice hardening again.
"You… should die. I will bring you to the gods. They will judge you, and your fate will be sealed."
But her expression… her tone… I could see the cracks in her godly armor. Literally.
Her golden eyes were no longer burning with fury; now there was a hint of something else. Curiosity, maybe? Or was it desire?
I glanced at the system message flashing in my mind, and something twisted in my gut.
The Lustbound System. This was the start of something I wasn't ready for, but I was too far in now to turn back.

Before I could process the weight of those words, the world around me shimmered. Everything started to collapse, the divine light beginning to warp and twist.
I barely had time to brace myself as the ground beneath me rumbled, and the air crackled with raw power.
"NO! You can't escape!" The goddess roared.
