Möbius's serious expression warmed Ares's heart. "Don't worry, Möbius. You don't need to worry, nor do you need to be afraid."
Ares's large palm gently pressed against Möbius's shoulder, clearly having learned to control his strength. "I know the power of destruction, and I know its uncontrollability. Destruction is everywhere; it arises from creation and disappears with creation. This is not a power I can master."
Möbius breathed a sigh of relief, but then came confusion. Ares was clearly aware of the advantages and weaknesses of destructive power, as well as its impact on himself, so why would he master it later? Why would he become the God of Destruction and War, who was ridiculed in later generations?
That's for later. After all, fate is elusive. How could they know fate? The god who prophesies the future will ultimately fulfill the prophecy...
If this fate were spoken, would it then come to pass?
"Your Highness, I hope you don't become infatuated with temporary power. Such power is too simple and can lead gods astray; it can lead one to fall," Möbius still cautioned, feeling a bit uneasy.
Ares laughed heartily and said, "I am the master of war. Who could make me want to recklessly seek power! War itself is already very powerful, so why should I abandon what's near for what's far, and pursue other powers?"
Möbius breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Then, Your Highness, what shall we do next?"
Ares opened the barrier, looking at the kneeling mortals below, and said, "I have received your intention for war. From now on, your two city-states are forbidden from unnecessary wars until the sun sets twenty thousand times."
After speaking, Ares moved a finger, and a blood-red divine power caressed Möbius's face before flying off towards Olympus.
Möbius looked in the direction Ares had gone, let out a sigh of relief, and continued, "My followers! Go to the Temple of War. There will be my statue, and the power of healing will protect you."
After Möbius finished speaking, he left, preparing to continue searching for those he could heal on the earth, slowly acquiring the power of healing. For after healing the humans in that area, he actually felt the power of a new divine authority, though this power was fleeting.
Based on what he had just done, Möbius believed this divine authority should be healing. After all, he hadn't done anything else, so it was unlikely to form any other divine authority.
Soon, Möbius continuously healed injured beings across the land. Not only humans, but animals, nymphs, and daemons were also within his healing range.
Thus, three hundred years passed. Möbius's healing power had spread across the entire land, and finally, when the last suffering person was healed, he obtained the power of healing.
He truly lived up to the title of God of Healing.
Emerald green light curtains appeared in the sky, and the divine authority of healing was bestowed upon Möbius. The world proclaimed the birth of a new primordial god—the God of Healing.
His healing power could cure all injuries and illnesses, and soothe all pain.
"A primordial god?" Zeus opened his eyes, muttering to himself with some doubt, "Can a primordial divine authority still be born at this stage?"
It was important to remember that the transition of power among the gods was just beginning, and the world's elemental energy was at its historical lowest point. Furthermore, to conceal the news of Metis being swallowed by him, he had used the authority of the King of Gods to disrupt the nodes of fate.
While it didn't anger the Goddesses of Fate, it consumed a vast amount of the world's existing elemental energy.
Therefore, no matter how they conceived offspring, it was impossible for primordial gods to be born. This was one of the reasons why Hera successively gave birth to two gods without primordial authority.
"Iris, go and bring this God of Healing, who is lingering on Earth, back to Olympus. The Earth is so dangerous; a noble primordial god should not be harassed by magical beasts," Zeus murmured, stroking the lightning in his hand, a strange emotion on his face.
"As you command, Great King of Gods, His Majesty Zeus," Iris bowed her head, acknowledging.
After leaving the King of Gods' palace, a hint of hesitation appeared on her face, but before heading to Earth, she went to the Temple of Marriage and conveyed Zeus's message to Hera.
"Alcyone, don't worry, I will try my best to bring you back. We will be together forever," tears welled up in Iris's eyes.
Alcyone was Iris's sister, both sharing the power of the rainbow. After Alcyone was imprisoned in Tartarus, her divine authority became a primordial one, and she mastered all the powers of the rainbow.
But for Iris, she would rather not have this power that could place her on equal footing with Zeus, if it meant getting her sister back.
There was no difference in status among primordial divine authorities, so the gods who nominally held primordial authority were also equal in status. This was mandated by the world and unchangeable.
Iris continued her search for the primordial god on Earth; wherever the rainbow appeared would become Iris's eyes.
Half an hour later, Iris discovered Möbius healing a tree. Looking at Möbius's pure smile, her movements faltered slightly, and her eyes gazed at Möbius in a daze.
Möbius must be a very kind being, willing to even heal trees.
After the tree was healed, Iris slowly approached Möbius and gently said, "Dear God of Healing, Your Highness Möbius, the great King of Gods, His Majesty Zeus, invites you to Olympus. The gods of Olympus will protect every primordial god."
Möbius's eyes flickered, and with a faint smile, he gently asked, "And you are?"
Iris paused, then remembered she hadn't introduced herself. "I am Zeus's messenger, Iris, the Goddess of the Rainbow."
Hearing Iris's self-introduction, Möbius remembered that she was one of the children of Thaumas, the Sea Marvel, and the ocean nymph Electra. She and her sister Alcyone, at their parents' behest, supported the Titans and Zeus, respectively.
Alcyone was imprisoned in Tartarus with the defeated Titans, while Iris followed Zeus and lived on Mount Olympus, becoming the messenger of Zeus and Hera.
"Hello, dear messenger, Your Highness Iris. Thank you for your message. I will go to Olympus, but I still have something to finish," Möbius said softly.
After speaking, Möbius left, casually walking across the land.
