The world is in a profound drought of content of many forms. Pepole who did not use digital personas, that were not there real selves, are safe. As they continue to upload, but others just... suddenly stop uploading, sometimes emmiting to what is going on, others hiding it, pretending they are not transforming, others do not say anything at all, and just go silent, some even delete channels hoping that stops it. While others... get excited, and show there transformations for all to see. Vtubers... despite being highly effected, are able to hide it by simply using there avatars as barriers. So many continue, and... ignore the comments asking if they are changing. Others are uneffected, because they have too many personas. While others exploit it. Some furry artists begin changing, and are openly excited, because... they want this. Some non-binary want to be other genders, so attempt to trigger it. Some are already crossdressing, and youtubers like f1nn5ter, have already... shifted within days, to the other gender. While hollywood, and movie indestries fell. While it seemed... animation indestries were less effected, far less so, because they had a harder time connecting the voice actor, to a charictor. As some of the more profoundly effected return. They were not immune, voice actors with one charictor, famous roles were effected. But diverse voice actors were not. If you had diverse roles, it could not pick one, and you never even had mental effects.
Some notice the fact, that charictor growth, and changes beyond what was intended for the original chairctor can occur, as if the charictor... becomes a real person, and real pepole can change. But... at the same time, many... confuse it with mind control, and feel immense horror at the idea... there preception can cause a person to suffer. But interviews with some of the most effected... also said "When... you transform like this... its... not entirely bad. Its like... reality forcing itself on you, and how you adapt is up to you, as long as you meet XYZ." Not everyone saw it as evil. Not panicked. Not bitter. Complex. Human. Sometimes to horrific effect. The voice actor for Alastor from hazbin hotel was reportedly effected. Taken to a phyc ward due to vast instability, and murderous impulses, conflicting with there human self. Along with... horrific transformation. Others, like adam sandler, despite being very diverse in roles. Began... to change. Not physicllly, but his body began to become more... maluable. Bendable, and... his personaility made it far, far easyer to enmbed himself into his classic sillyness.
Goverments... feared these developments. Karens yelled at pepole who looked non-human in stores, others preaching holy scripts at them. As a form of... specist racism formed. While ridiculed, and rare in many areas, it was common in some. Some police reports of... individuals with inhuman abilities defending themselves from... racal, specist violence. As for hollywood, they were not entirely... gone. Some roles like the doctor... were now safe because someone else was becoming it. Meaning the fake doctor, and the real one... could diverge freely. Many other roles were similar. But now... studios were thinking of how to adapt, to make contracts where pepole had to accept the risks. Etc.
The Alister case in particular was a big deal. As he took the role of the animated OP as hell, radio demon. Many were worried about him gaining real demonic power, and combine that with the charictors caged evil, as implied by lore. Him being a mass murder. Now... the voice actor putting himself in a psychiatric ward, because he reportedly, while laugthing manicly "Wants to kill everyone around me, and fucking take control of this dingy place!". Before snaping to tears "but i don't want too! I do... i... who the fuck am i!?" It seems the more... diffrent the personality between the charictor, and the real person. The greater... the pain. As after weeks... antlers began to grow... and... something weird began to occur. The two personalities were forced to merge. Give up parts of one, keep parts of another. Another oddity, was he began to smell like sulfur when angry. With no clear biological source. After many phycological sessions. What was left... was what was described as a very deeply... greedy identity, but one that also... deeply did not want to kill. It was... something... that was not Alistor, or the voice actor. Charisma, supernatural presence, and terrifying resolve.
Yet... a heart that cared under a deeply creepy smile, as his body still... continued to shift, and was predicted to take months to complete. Simply due to the fact, the larger the scale of body transformation, the longer it takes. One theripy tape leaked. "Who do you feel like now?" His radio voice goes loud in anger "Stuid gray stuff!", he mutters quitely, and politely "If i had demon powers, i would tear myself out of here just to get a good meal." He laugths.
