"Kyler, It's 12am in the midnight why are you here messing around my window?" Mirae asked as Kyler smiled at her.
The past days Mirae was ignoring him and doesn't come out of her room even if he tried to visit her home.
When he was about to go home he notice the light in Mirae's room and saw her shadow so he decided to climb up to her room and knock into her window.
"It's because you don't want to see me after that flower incident. I told you I was sorry that I didn't know about it but you ignored me after getting discharged." he said as Mirae sigh and let Kyler come in her room.
"I don't want games Kyler. I heard from my parents that you paid my hospital bill. How can a highschool boy pay a 2,000- 4,000 hospital bill?" She asked as Kyler smiled.
"It was actually 7,000 dollar since you broke your ribs and other bones in your body but forget about that what matters is your safe now." Kyler rest assured.
"Jung family... Your family is known in the USA. Your rich but why are you here in Korea being bullied and got yourself enrolled in a low-class school like mine?" She asked as Kyler gulp as he remembered why he got transferred to Korea instead.
"My parents just want me to live a normal life." He said praying that Mirae will believe in his alibi.
"Mirae..." He called as Mirae smiled sadly. "Your bad at lying." She smiled sadly and went to her closet and get her favorite scarf.
"It's cold enough to freeze someone outside with no protection so stop coming here with flashy suites. I prefer you with your simple wardrobe." Mirae said as she put on her scarf to Kyler's neck.
"And I don't accept rich suitors. They'll just pity out my life just because I'm poor." She added as Kyler lean in to her for a hug yet she pushed him away.
"Kyler..." She whispered as Kyler raise his hands as sign of giving up. "Fine I won't push you so much but you'll fall for me eventually someday." He said as he wink before he jump out the window.
Mirae woke up from a dream as her hands are shaking. 'Why do I keep on dreaming about the past?' she asked herself as she looked at the grey bedsheets.
'This is not my room...' she said to herself as she look around and saw a topless guy walking outside since the room was not locked.
She check herself if she did sleep with this guy but finds out that she didn't but she fully changed her clothes.
"Uhmm excuse me..." She started as the guy stopped cooking and face her.
A handsome god is in front of her making her nose bleed.
"Your bleeding..." He said as he handed a tissue. "Bleeding?" She asked as she realized she really is. "I'm sorry I usually nosebleed when I get excited." He said as he smiled.
"Get excited?" He asked as he chuckled and get his shirt to wear on. "I'm sorry, Did my hot body make you excited?" He asked as he chuckled teasing her.
"N-No! Your getting the wrong idea!" She said as he nodded.
"I saw you on the street last night barefoot, I offered you a pair of boots yet you just collapse in front of me. You don't have Identification card or wallet and I cannot take you to the hospital or rumors will spread." He said as he look at her feet with bandages.
"About your clothes don't worry about it as I asked some girl staff in the condominium to dress you up and aid your blisters." He said as he kneel down to check her feet .
"I appreciate your kindness but I would really love to go home." She said.
"Home?" He smirked as he looked above and meet her eyes while putting slippers on her injured feet.
"I don't think your planning to go home. You were crying the entire time begging me not to take you home." He said as when they entered the car she was clinging on him like a puppy begging him not to take her home.
"I'm sorry, Even if I don't want to go home it's rude enough that I cause this much trouble to a stranger." She said as he smiled.
"I'm Nam Li Hyuk. You can call me Li." He said as he stands up. "You can stay here as much as you want. This place is not been used anyway since I'm always out working." He said as he toss her the keys.
"Why would you do this? Why would you help a stranger like me?" She asked as he smiled.
"Cause you caught my interest in walking barefoot in blizzard snow. You must be having a hard time." He smiles as he sat down he grab his car keys.
He paused as he remembered how he walked that Blizzard day too just because his mind was blank and destroyed into pieces.
"I cooked some breakfast so enjoy." He said.
"Wait!" Mirae stopped him. "I'm Mirae Kim." She said as he smiled. "I see... Nice meeting you Mirae." He said as he left.
Mirae doesn't know the guy at all yet she choose to trust him rather than going back home where her parents are only obsessed about making money out of her.
She has no money, No phone and no I'D. She's no one in Lian's apartment yet Lian still accepts her.
When Elian got out from the condominium. He smiled when he saw Nam Li Hyuk glaring at him.
"I didn't know that using my name will be part of your plan sir." He said as Elian laughed.
"Come on now don't be to problematic. You know I cannot easily give my true identity on someone I don't know." Elian said as they walked towards the elevator.
"She said her name was Mirae Kim," Elian started as Nam Li stopped in shock as the elevator door opened Elian went inside as Nam Li was frozen outside.
"Nam Li, Your spacing out ..." Elian said in a warning voice as Nam Li immediately shake his head as he went inside the elevator and pres ground floor.
As the door slowly closes a hand appeared out of nowhere and stopped the Elevator door from opening.
"I finally caught you uncle!" A guy in his 20's said as he was panting rushing through the stairways to catch up with Elian.
"I heard you just came here to find a potential bride. Did Ajuma pressure you?" He asked as Elian smirked.
"It's nice meeting you again my dear nephew, Kyler Jung." He said as Kyler smirked.
"Welcome to Korea Ajussi Elian Jung." Kyler said as the elevator door closes, Mirae opened the door to check outside the place and sigh to see that it is such an extravagant place.
Nam Li was quite the whole time before they reach the ground floor. Knowing Kyler and Elian's relationship they were both rivals in the business industry yet Kyler hasn't proved the chairman anything worth it for him to inherit one of the Jung's businesses.
The chairman decided to do collaborations with the other companies and make Kyler Jung the groom.
Elian Jung was Kyler's Mother Younger brother. He was single and was focused in making his own empire bigger than the one owned by the chairman.
He builds his own name from scratch without gaining bias from being a Jung himself.
He raised the bar so high that other businesses find it hard to compete next to him.
He was offered a lot of arrange marriages yet decline every single offer as he wants to marry for love just like how the chairman and his mother lasted.
The chairman never get the chance to interfere with Elian's love life yet his time is ticking as he will turned 35 this year.
He came home because the chairwoman asked him to go home together with the girl his going to marry and if not he will be forced to agreed with arrange marriage.
"I am busy right now." Elian said as Kyler smirked. "I'm busy too uncle but family always comes first. The chairman asked for your presence at the planned family dinner. He asked me to give this message to you personally so you won't decline." Kyler said as he smirked knowing that Elian hates their family tree.
"The whole family will be there including Han Seo Jung." He added emphasizing her mother's name.
Elian didn't respond as if he wants to be honest and don't want to go to that family dinner.
"I will come don't worry." He said as Kyler Jung. "Yet the Chairman added to bring your fiance with you for us to discuss your marriage." He added pushing Elian's buttons.
'How the fvck can I find a bride in two weeks?!' Elian asked himself.
"That would be all uncle, Have a great day." Kyler said as he waved goodbye.
"Fvck that kid..." Elian whispered.
