"So you said something about combat training?" Adam asked after Spector android finished talking about the upgrades.
"Combat training will include multiple styles of self defence used by humans as well as the combat style taught to Solarian special forces." Spector android began to explain.
"Melee weapons and firearms along with how to best utilise them in different situations."
"Tactical espionage and reconnaissance."
"Medical field training."
"All that will take me years to learn." Adam replied.
"Negative, because of the neurolink installed in your brain during your recovery, all aforementioned data can simply be downloaded into your brain for immediate access."
"Training within the holo chamber after download is required to make sure data download was successful and without issues while also allowing you to adapt to your new skills."
"Estimated time for data download is twelve hours."
"Estimated time for optimal training in the holo chamber including rest and sustenance is nine days."
"Because of the amount of data about to be transferred to the potential operator, it is advised he lay back down as he is likely to lose consciousness."
"Commencing download in three seconds please."
"What! Wait wait wait." Adam said in a panic as he was still trying to process everything.
However Spector did not wait and after three short seconds Adam collapsed back onto the bed unconscious.

Twelve hours later Adam regained consciousness before Spector android led him out of the medical room he had been in for months and along an octagon shaped hallway that had silver panels and neon blue lights that lit up as they walked along before turning off again after they had passed.
Spector android led them both to a pair of double doors that slid open sideways with a slight whooshing noise revealing a large square room that was completely empty.
The walls, floor and ceiling were made up of dark grey triangular tiles.
"In this room we can make holographic representations of almost anything we wish." Spector android explained as an exact double of Adam suddenly materialised before him.
"Is that me?! Why do I look more handsome?" Adam asked as he studied his holographic double.
"The medication provided to you during recovery contained enhancement fluid that was needed to enhance your body enough to be able to accept the cybernetic upgrades. This physical appearance improvement is a result of that."
Adam also noticed the new six pack he was sporting. While before the incident he was slightly overweight, now his body and looks would rival any male celebrity.
"Let's begin." Spector android said as holographic Adam vanished and was replaced by a stranger wearing a martial arts outfit.
Adam felt weight suddenly appear on his body and looking down found he was wearing the same martial arts outfit as the stranger while they both stood on a training mat.
After that Adam spent the next nine days practicing all the different combat skills Spector android had just downloaded to him only stopping for food and sleep.
After completing the training that Spector android had designed for him, Adam was able to get a decent night's rest after which he showered and had some food.
He had been taken to what appeared to be some kind of eating area as there were tables and chairs set up along with what suspiciously looked like a bar along one wall.
Spector android had shown him a food dispenser that was capable of producing any food he asked for and it tasted just as good as the real thing.
This was only possible since Spector had access to what it called the global communications network and could download recipes and production methods for different food and drink, though Adam was not sure how it managed to make it taste exactly the same.
While Adam ate, Spector android began a briefing for him regarding his revenge.
"During the last nine days that you were training, I have been gathering information on the human known as Viktor Morose."
"Unfortunately during this time I came across some information about yourself that I believe is pertinent to what you're about to do?"
Adam looked up quizzically, however before he could speak several holographic screens appeared around him from several different news websites.

The cutlery dropped from Adam's hand as he saw all these headlines as he asked with a painful voice, "they blame me? But why?"
"After accessing police records regarding the case Viktor Morose informed the police regarding Jenny Downs death and his statement claims that she frantically called him during the early hours of the morning for help after you threatened to kill her with a gun, he then desperately rushed towards your location with some military personnel in order to save her and apprehend you."
"However she had already been shot upon their arrival and you had disappeared with your belongings, he claims they rushed Jenny to the hospital to try and save her however she passed away mid transport."
"Jenny Downs' parents have also confirmed that the two of you had gone camping."
"What the hell, it was the middle of the night when everything happened, how did it turn into the early hours of the morning?" Adam asked.
"I hypothesise that it would have taken Viktor Morose and his people several hours to come up with a cover story and fabricate evidence."
"Indeed phone records do show Jenny Downs calling Viktor Morose around 02:30 local time."
"The hospital medical report shows they reached the hospital at 02:45 and she was confirmed dead at that time."
"Also the coroner's report shows the time of death to be between the hours of 02:00 and 04:00."
"However there is a suspiciously large financial transaction from one of the subsidiary companies under Francis Morose, the father of Viktor Morose paid into a Swiss bank account in the coroners name."
"So you're saying they paid off this coroner to falsify the report?" Adam asked with anger while clenching his fists.
"That Is the most logical conclusion." Spector Android confirmed before adding. "There is also financial evidence showing the case's chief investigator receiving a pay off in a similar fashion to the coroner."
"Because of them paying off the chief investigator and the Morose family being one of the richest families in the world that broadcast a positive public image by donating to local charities, providing local jobs and the sort, it would seem that even though the police claim they are still actively investigating this as a high priority, they are in fact doing just enough to make the public think that while actually doing nothing at all."
"This is the problem with the rich and powerful." Adam spat. "If they have the connections they can make any trouble go away."
"Looks like Viktor isn't the only target on my list."
As he finished speaking a window appeared before him on his Hud.

"The chief investigator is a woman?" Adam said but then made no further comment regarding it.
"Correct, additional targets may be added to the list if they are found to either be involved in covering up the murder or in protecting any of the targets already on the list." Spector android stated before asking.
"Are you ready to go through your equipment?"
"Yes." Adam replied.
