Siegfried Kaslana was a multifaceted figure.
With the Kaslana bloodline and a knightly spirit to protect the people, wielding the destructive God Key, Skyfire Judgment, he was undeniably a top-tier warrior.
In the Siberian battle, he risked life and limb to unleash a devastating attack against the Void Herrscher. Despite the rocky path, he ended the Second Honkai Eruption, earning the title of hero.
Beyond that, a third-rate husband and a barely-passable father—that's how many Void Fork cleaning crews rated Siegfried.
Yet, those who held such views often softened as the "plot" unfolded.
Siegfried's most criticized act was the brain-dead move of giving his biological daughter's name to K423, but this was later explained as the writers retconned… I mean, as the plot developed.
An 8-year-old girl, first blasted in the head by shrapnel from an exploding aircraft, then free-falling from 10,000 meters in a no-rope bungee jump, landing in a frigid snow mountain…
You're telling me she could survive that?
Even an S-rank Valkyrie like Rita, without any buffs, would be sipping Meng Po's soup after that combo nine times out of ten!
All you can say is, she's the ultimate silly goose, the young Celestial Durandal, worthy of the true Kiana name—the Child of Destiny in the Honkai world!
In that situation, no one would believe Kiana could survive, not even her father, who wanted her to live more than anyone.
In truth, Siegfried was a tragic figure, his life riddled with regrets. Even the Kaslana Stigmata's will might pity him.
In a misery contest, probably only his distant ancestor, Kevin Kaslana, could compete.
His beloved wife died before his eyes to protect him. While rescuing his daughter's clone, his biological daughter died shielding the clone.
Watching his wife and daughter plummet into death's abyss—what kind of blow that was to a husband and father is unimaginable.
From then on, Siegfried drowned in a past woven with guilt and pain. Only by giving Kiana Kaslana's name to K423 did he take up a father's duty again.
But to save Kiana, he had to leave her, protecting her from the shadows until Kevin's return, when he was locked in a Stigmata space, cursed and imprisoned.
The gap between suffering and happiness isn't always as wide as we think.
Maybe it was his optimism, the Kaslana blood's unyielding spirit, or just a simple lack of brainpower, but he dragged his will through it all.
So, at the story's end, Siegfried became the world's happiest father.
And today, this father received a surprise only a father could truly feel.
"Yo, isn't this my dear Dr. Tesla? How's a busy bee like you got time to visit me today? Dr. Einstein's here too, huh."
At an Anti-Entropy branch, a middle-aged man with white hair tied in a short ponytail, stubble lending a weathered look, spoke with a lively tone that gave him a youthful air.
His empty left sleeve revealed his missing arm, and the white-haired man sipped medicine from a cup with his remaining hand.
He'd been shadowing his daughter to protect her, even lingering after Kiana joined St. Freya to ensure she had reliable companions before leaving.
Phew, finally a chance to rest!
Seeing the man lounging on a sofa on-screen, the teased Tesla raised her deep-red gauntlet, ready to unleash her Zu'an rage, but paused as if recalling something, her expression softening.
Hm?
No Zu'an piano today? Siegfried blinked. What's going on?
Did Dr. Tesla take the wrong meds?
Her aggression was way down!
"Siegfried, we've got great news!" Tesla chirped excitedly.
"Oh? Great news?" Siegfried jolted upright, no wonder her bite was weak—something good was up!
Contacting him specifically meant it involved him. Siegfried's interest piqued.
"What's the news? Did Walter finally get a clue? You two tying the knot and inviting me to the wedding feast?"
Since the Second Honkai Eruption, their dealings had evolved. Siegfried's ties with Anti-Entropy's leader and its twin treasures weren't just business—shared beliefs made them friends, the pretty good kind.
This was classic buddy banter.
"You *** talking *** what *** nonsense?" Tesla's face flushed, slamming a fist on the table, either from anger or embarrassment.
"Alright, alright, just kidding~" Seeing the red lobster's usual fire, Siegfried saluted French-style. "So, what's the good news?"
Tesla took a deep breath. "You weren't entirely wrong—you are getting a feast, a joyous one!"
As Siegfried's face lit up with thrilled anticipation, Tesla's lips curled into a sly, delighted smirk. "But the one getting married isn't me—it's your daughter, Kiana."
"Oh, so it's Kiana…!!! Wait, who!?"
His words halted, Siegfried's eyes widened in shock, his face screaming what the hell.
The more stunned and incredulous Siegfried looked, the higher Tesla's spirits soared, even Einstein's lips twitching upward.
Pleasure's just wired into human DNA.
"Yup, you heard right. Your daughter, Kiana Kaslana, is getting married next month. She asked us to tell you not to miss her big day."
Watching Siegfried's horrified expression, Tesla crossed her arms.
"Dr. Tesla, that's not a funny joke…" Siegfried's face stiffened, like hardened plaster.
"You think we'd contact you just to prank you?" Tesla retorted with a grin.
"!!!"
Siegfried froze, struck by lightning, his heart roiling with earth-shaking shock!
"No, no, no, impossible!"
Siegfried stammered in panic. He'd only been away from Kiana for half a year. She didn't even have a boyfriend before—how'd she fast-forward to marriage!?
"Maybe it's sudden, but it's true. I've got a photo."
Einstein pulled up a picture of Shiraki kissing Kiana's cheek, the white-haired girl in the dark-haired youth's lap, her eyes brimming with shy affection. Anyone with eyes could see their relationship.
"This!!!" Siegfried blinked dumbly, plunged into overwhelming shock.
He didn't get it!
Half a year ago, Kiana was chasing a girlfriend (Raiden Mei). Now she's marrying a boyfriend? What kind of joke is this!?
"Wait, you said Kiana told you to message me… she knows I'm with Anti-Entropy?" Siegfried tensed up.
"Well, she probably didn't know before, but her fiancé definitely did. She likely heard from her boyfriend," Tesla guessed.
"…" Siegfried stiffened like a rusted robot, his expression blank, eyes unfocused.
What the hell happened?
"Boyfriend…"
His eagle-like eyes glinted sharply, locking onto the figure holding Kiana in the photo.
Kiana was still young, easily swayed by sweet talk, and not the sharpest tool, inheriting the Kaslana dummy gene. If some shady guy tricked her feelings…
Black mist seemed to rise behind Siegfried, like an old farmer enraged that a wild boar had uprooted his prized cabbage.
"So? What're you gonna do?" Tesla's grin was unrestrained.
The question snapped Siegfried out of his anger, like a bucket of cold water dumped on his head.
After a brief, rational pause, he looked at the gleeful red-blue duo. "Who's the boy?"
"Sorry, we don't know." Tesla shrugged.
"Even with all of Anti-Entropy's resources, we couldn't dig up a shred of intel on him," Einstein added, a trace of gravity in her eyes. "Like he appeared out of thin air."
"This…!"
Siegfried's troubled, pained expression gained a layer of shock and solemnity.
His daughter wasn't just getting married—to a mysterious stranger? What father could stand that!?
Siegfried's face darkened, gripping Skyfire Judgment at his waist. "I'm heading to Anti-Entropy's Far East branch now!"
At this point, there was only one choice.
He had to see Kiana!
Tesla and Einstein glanced at the blackened screen, exchanged a look, and shrugged.
…
"Mei~ Tonight, I wanna sleep with you… no, I mean, sleep together!"
Before, Mei might've caved to Kiana's puppy-dog charm, but now Kiana had a boyfriend and could casually talk marriage, so they'd clearly reached the final stage.
After choosing her words, Mei said sternly, "Kiana! Be proper in front of Shiraki! Don't make jokes that could cause misunderstandings."
"No worries, we can all sleep together!"
Kiana held Shiraki's hand in one and Mei's in the other, beaming brightly.
"Kiana! Shiraki, you…"
The absurd words made Raiden Mei's scalp tingle. She turned to Shiraki, hoping he'd rein Kiana in, but saw his amused expression.
These two were hopeless!
That old saying from Shenzhou was spot-on: Birds of a feather flock together!
Raiden Mei yanked her hand free, slipped into her room, and shut the door with a blank face. Her brain needed water-cooling.
"Ugh, invitation failed." Kiana's head drooped dejectedly.
"Isn't that obvious?" Shiraki shook his head with a helpless smile.
"We'll need a long-term plan… but no worries, we'll definitely win Mei over!" Kiana clenched her pink fists, cheering "herself" on.
"A-alright, let's go to bed too."
Kiana's fair face flushed with an alluring blush as she led Shiraki by the hand into her room.
Shiraki had unlocked the selfcest achievement the day Reverie appeared.
As another Shiraki, how would Kiana handle her male self? The outcome was obvious~!
