Cristian was bored out of his mind . It was his second year in high school yet everything was the same as before. His teachers knew of him as a genius, girls were swooning because of his looks, he was invited to every party and yet his only real friend was Kevin.
While others viewed him as a status symbol or bank account because of his and his family's wealth and fame. Kevin viewed him as a true friend and a person.
Well anyways while Christian was bored out of him mind Kevin and his girlfriend,Sarah, walked up to him.
Seeing them together brought a wry smile on his face as he remembered last year's events. Sarah was originally his girlfriend but she was intersted in Kevin and vice versa.When Christian learned about it (it wasn't exactly hard with the way sarah looked at kevin when she thought they weren't watching ,granted kevin wasn't and vice versa with the way kevin looked at her) he wasn't exactly heartbroken or anything.
All he thought of Sarah was a way to keep the other girls in check.So when he learned it he decided to check their loyalty.
He would send their meet up spots to them, arrive early and hide. When they arrived he would let them talk for some time.
After a few times of repeating this, he made them realize they had feelings for each other.When Sarah found out she proposed that they date secreltly without letting me know,but Kevin wasn't having it "I'm his best friend and your currently his girlfriend. If we're gonna date we will tell him about this."
"Why?"Sarah replied"It could end your friendship."
"I don't care"Kevin replied
Thats when i came out of my hiding spot and said" You can date"
8 months later they were still going strong.But I didn't trust Sarah. As the old saying goes "If she can cheat with you, she can cheat on you"
Anyway, as christian was thinking about this, Kevin was grumbling about a test he badly screwed up while Sarah was teasing him about it.
"If only i had your geniusness Chris, I would have aced it"
"Geniusness is a non-standard word and get rekt sucker cause i got a 100"
"We didn't even get our results yet"
"I just know i got a 100"
"What a humble genius we got here"
"Yeah you should thank god everyday for my amazing presense you can experience"Christian replied with laziness.
"You found class boring again today huh?" Sarah asked moving to another topic.
"Yeah" he replied.
"Ooh, i know just the thing to kill your boredom"Kevin said.
"What is it?"
"Its a new VRMMORPG game that was released a week ago. Its called 'CHRONICLES of ???' or 'CHRONICLES' for short."
"A game?"
