"So, let's play truth or dare. Who's in?" Roxanna asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
I shook my head firmly. "Oh, no, I'm not. It's too risky." Roxanna's expression turned persuasive.
"C'mon, Via, what's the big deal?" she asked, her tone lighthearted. I reminded her of my situation.
"You know I'm in a relationship, right?" Roxanna's response was nonchalant. "And so what? It's just a truth or dare thing." I voiced my concerns. "What if you dare me to do something I don't want to? I really don't want to put my relationship at risk."
Roxanna's tone turned sarcastic. "Oh, please, spare me the act. Like this is your first time." I stood my ground, my voice firm. "I know, but it doesn't seem right."
Roxanna's expression turned determined. "Look, girl, I don't care what you're saying. But you're in." I relented, throwing up my hands in mock resignation. "Okay, whatever."
As we sat in the circle, Roxanna explained the rules. "Alright, so we'll go around the circle, and each person will choose either truth or dare. If you choose truth, you have to answer a question truthfully. If you choose dare, you have to do the task given to you."
I nodded, still feeling a bit uneasy about participating. The game began, and one by one, we took our turns. Some people chose truth, while others chose dare. When it was my turn, Roxanna grinned mischievously. "Truth or dare, Via?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement. I hesitated for a moment before choosing truth. Roxanna thought for a moment before asking her question. "What's the most romantic thing Brian has ever done for you?" I blushed, feeling a smile spread across my face. "He surprised me with a picnic in the park," I replied, my voice barely above a whisper. Roxanna's eyes widened in surprise. "Aww, that's so sweet!" she exclaimed. The game continued, with each person revealing more and more about themselves.
"Shantel, I dare you to rock on Alexander's dick."
"What?" I exclaimed in suprise.
"Ok. I'll do it."
She approached Alexander with a sly grin spreading across her face.
"Hey Alex," she said, her voice playful.
"Hey pretty," he replied, looking at her with a mix of curiosity and confusion, unsure what to make of her mischievous gaze.
As she stood close to him, the air seemed to vibrate with anticipation, and he couldn't help but wonder what she was planning.
She backed him, positioned her butts on his dick and twerked, making Alex very hard.
Just as he reached out to grab her waist, Roxanna's sudden shout of "stop" froze him in place. Shantel smiled slyly at him, then turned and sauntered back, leaving him looking intrigued and slightly bewildered.
"So.. Olivia I dare you to kiss Dylan." Olivia's eyes darted to Dylan, who was watching her with a mixture of amusement and curiosity.
"No way," she said, laughing nervously. "Brian would kill me."
Roxanna who dared her grinned mischievously. "That's the point of a dare, Via! It'll be just a quick kiss, no big deal." I raised an eyebrow. "You're crazy."
"Ah! Come on. It's not like you're cheating. Roxanna teased.
I hesitated, clearly torn between my loyalty to Brian and the thrill of the dare.
"Come on, just a quick kiss!" someone shouted. I hesitated, feeling a mix of embarrassment and reluctance. Dylan looked just as unsure, but the crowd's enthusiasm was infectious. With a shrug, we leaned in, our lips meeting in a brief, awkward peck.
Brian's eyes widened in shock as he stood frozen in the doorway, the flower slipping from his grasp. The sound of it hitting the floor seemed amplified in the silence that followed.
I and Dylan, lost in the moment, didn't notice Brian's arrival at first. It wasn't until I felt Dylan's surprise and pulled back that we both turned to face Brian.
My eyes met Brian's, and for a moment, we just stared at each other. The air was thick with tension. Dylan took a step back, his expression a mix of guilt and apology. Brian's face was a mask of pain and betrayal.
"Brian," I started, her voice barely above a whisper.
But he didn't let me finish. He turned and walked away, leaving I and Dylan standing there, the weight of what had just happened hanging between us like a challenge.
I stood there, frozen in regret, as I imagined Brian's angry gaze piercing through me. The sound of his footsteps echoed in my ears as he turned and walked away.
I felt a pang of guilt and anxiety, knowing I had to face the consequences of my actions. Dylan looked at me with a mix of concern and amusement, but I just shook my head and took off after Brian, calling out his name.
He didn't stop or turn around, his long strides making it hard for me to catch up. I finally grabbed his arm, spinning him around to face me.
"Brian, wait! It's not what it looked like," I pleaded, trying to read his expression. His eyes blazed with a mix of anger and hurt, and I knew I was in for a tough conversation.
Brian's voice was low and even, but I could hear the tension beneath his words.
"What did it look like, then?" he asked, his eyes challenging me to come up with a believable explanation. I hesitated, knowing the truth wouldn't help my case.
"It was just a stupid dare," I admitted, feeling my face heat up with guilt.
Brian's expression didn't soften.
"A dare? You kissed him because of a dare?" He shook his head, disgust etched on his face. "You're going to have to do better than that if you want to fix this." He turned and walked away, leaving me feeling worse than before.
I stood frozen, watching Brian walk away, my heart heavy with regret. The weight of my mistake crushed me. Why did I let a stupid dare dictate my actions?
Now, I'm left facing the fallout. The sound of Dylan's soft laughter behind me made my stomach twist with anxiety. "Guess the cat's out of the bag now," he said, his tone laced with amusement.
I shot him a glare, but he just shrugged. Do I try to make amends with Brian or deal with Dylan's nonchalance?
Oh Fuck! I'm such a mess.
