I slammed the car door behind me after I stormed towards the building before me. Michael's nervous voice could be heard behind me but I was too clouded in rage to hear whatever he was trying to tell me.
"Why didn't you inform me about it?" I asked, walking up the stairs to Miranda's room. I left the pack 2 hours ago to meet the visitors and asked Lucian to bring her to me.
However, it has been more than 3 hours and there was no update from him or her. Micheal tried to coax me with an excuse that Lucian might have got attacked on the way. Which was bullshit!
Lucian was as strong as 3 soldiers and unless it was an entire pack that attacked him. There was no way he got attacked on his way here and completely disappeared.
Yes, on his way here, because I could still whiff Miranda's scent. I grabbed the door's knob and pushed it open, however, due to the adrenaline surging through me, much power was added.
