Stilts sighs loudly rubbing her forehead with the back of her hand as she finished cleaning the last table. Its 10pm but it was still raining. It had been raining for five hours now and she really needed to get home.
"Mrs Smith am done!" Stilts yells out taking off her apron and putting it on the counter.
The door opens revealing a short middle-aged woman. She held a bright smile on her face observing the area.
"Once again, you did pretty good" Mrs Smith says
Stilts smiles at her putting on her jacket and swinging her bag to one side. Mrs Smith gives a questionable look.
" Are you going in this rain?" She asked in a worry tone
Stilts gives her a reassuring smile.
"It's only a light rain " She says " It's not going to hurt me" She replied
" But shouldn't you wait till it stop?"
Stilts shakes her head " No thanks, I have to get home besides, it already late" She adds
Mrs Smith sighs in defeat. Stilts pulls her to her hug kissing the side of her cheeks before dashing out into the
rain.

She was already regretting the idea of not listening to Mrs Smith. The rain had gotten heavier and it seemed it wouldn't stop at any time.
The roads were empty, no cars around but luckily for her, her house wasn't that far from the restaurant.
She walks on the bridge, the rain hitting her face and the wind pushing her side to side as she struggles to walk properly.
"Am Seriously going to take a hot bath" She whispers to herself.
Her eyes catches a black car that was packed at the edge of the bridge and she smiles proudly.
Finally.
She moves closer and realises the car was empty and the door to the driver's seat was opened.
Stilts raised an eyebrow already confused.
She finally reaches the car and almost reaches out to it when she sees a figure standing by the bridge.
"Hey.." She calls out almost in a whisper but there was no answer.
Stilts gulps seeing how close the stranger was to the edge of the bridge..
Her eyes widens realising the stranger's intentions.
" Whatever you do, don't try it" She calls out.
That didn't get the stranger's attention.
She brings out her phone to call the cops but gasped seeing her phone had died.
"Fuck!" She mutters running to the stranger's side.
It was a male. He wore a mask making it hard for her to see his face , he looked as if he had zoned out.
"Hey...listen to me"
"Go away, let me die and leave this cruel world!!" He yells now closer to the edge about to jump.
Stilts screams at the top of her voice she grabs him on time and pulls him far away from each other. They land on each other's body with Stilts on top.
Stilts groans before she could process what was happening, she was pushed roughly to the other side.
" Hey!" She yells watching the stranger stand to his feet and dashes towards his car.
Stilts stands up to and runs to him. She pulls him to face her and gives him a hard slap on his face.
"Are you insane?!"She yells "Committing suicide, don't you have a family, what the heck is wrong with you?!"
He stays in that position for a minute before slowly turning towards her.
He gives a soft chuckle sending cold shivers down her spine.
"Family?, Really?" He questions before he enters his car. He turns on engine giving her one last look as if scanning every detail before driving off at full speed.
Stilts stares at nothing.
The sound of thunder hits the sky bringing her back to her senses. She turns to her heels running home.

After a hot bath and hot tea, Stilts tucks herself to bed. She's currently watching a serie on her laptop but also scrolling through social media on her phone.
Her mum is a business woman who travels a lot and so she's with her aunt, Miller.
Her aunt wasn't at home either because she had to visit a friend. It was now a normal thing for Stilts. She's used to it and also, loves her own space and comfort zone.
An email pops on her laptop and she opens it. In seconds, She was already screaming at the top of her voice and jumping on her bed.
"I got admission to Skypro academy!" She screams out.
After minutes, she gathers herself and takes a deep breath before calling her Aunt the moment the phone picks up, she was already ranting.

{Sylvester's Mansion}
The room is dark and cold. The only sound that could be heard was the droplets of water from the bathroom.
Jack lays flat on the bed surface, staring at the ceiling. In his right hand was a pendant which had a picture of a woman.
He had been like that all day. No movement at all.
The door flung open and Camila barged in.
"Father's waiting for you downstairs" She says turning on the light
Jack winced covering his eyes due to the sudden brightness.
" Tell him am not interested" He replies as his eyes finally adapts to the brightness
Camila scoffs " Just go see him and know what he wants" She snaps walking back outside leaving the door wide open.
Jack glared daggers at it.
Richard paced up and down tirelessly. Checking his watch every second. He was upset, really upset.
"Where is your dumb ass brother?!" He yells at Camila who just sat on the couch on her phone.
She stares at him then back at her phone pretending he wasn't even there.
Richard gritted his teeth
He noticed Jack slowly walk downstairs. The moment, He walks up to him, Richard gives a hard blow on his cheek.
Jack didn't move an inch
"I called and you had the guts not to answer?!" He yells.
"You told me to call him, don't act as if it's his fault!" She yells standing on her feet.
"He's a bastard son!" Richard yells " He killed his own mother and now he wants to kill me too"
He then faces Jack" What is this?" He asked tossing papers at his face
"I didn't send you to summer school so you could be lazy"
Camila picks one of the papers up and scans through it she gives a loud scoffs.
"Jack literally surpassed everyone there what more do you want?"
" He can't take over my business if he keeps acting like a looser that he is" Richard says
"I didn't do anything wrong father" Jack says
Richard's eyes burned with fury. He grabs a vase and smashes it hard on Jack's head causing him to stagger back.
Camila screams seeing blood rushing down Jack's face
"Don't you dare talk to me, you murderer" Richard snaps
Jack says nothing but walks upstairs to his room ignoring the callings of his father. He shuts the door and leans on it bringing his legs to his chest.
He stays like that hearing the harsh yellings between his father and his sister.
After a moment, the noise died down.
A knock came on the door.
"Jack?, He's gone now" Camila says in a soft voice "Should I bring food?"
"No thanks Camilla" Jack interrupts
There was a sigh before Camila continues " At least let me clean your wound....."
"It's okay Camila " Jack's interrupts "I need you to stop caring so much about me"
"Am sorry Jack, you've been through a lot" She whispers.
Minutes after, there wasn't any sound of any movement at all.
Jack still maintained his position staring at an empty spot.
