Ability: Probability Vision

Effect:

Whenever Haruki thinks about taking an action, he instantly sees a glowing percentage float in his vision, showing the estimated success rate of that action. It's intuitive, instant, and only appears when he consciously considers doing something.

Rules & Limits:

• Subjective Success

The ability defines "success" based on what Haruki wants in that moment—even if he's not fully aware of it.

Example: If he wants to make someone laugh, the success rate will reflect that—not just whether he says the joke well.

If he's unsure what he wants, the rate may fluctuate or stay vague.

• Context-Sensitive

The same action will have different rates depending on timing, emotion, nearby people, and tone of voice.

Saying "hi" to someone might be 80% one moment and 5% the next.

• Not Always Accurate

It's an estimation, not a prophecy. There are unknowns the ability can't fully account for—like other people's deep thoughts, sudden changes, or random events.

• Not Passive

The percentages only appear when Haruki actively thinks about an action. He's not bombarded constantly—it's a tool, not a curse.

• No Do-Overs

He can't see multiple steps ahead. Only the next immediate action shows a percentage. He has to feel his way forward, choice by choice.

Psychological Impact:

At first, he treats it like a cheat code.

But he quickly learns: high numbers don't always lead to meaningful moments.

The ability starts to feel like a mirror—reflecting his own doubt, hesitation, or hidden hopes.
