Kyros pov
" Ow that stings," I say as Mineru rubs my burns with some Hyrule herbs and sunscorched grass that was found here in the Abbey ruins. I wiggle a little as Mineru grabs my arm roughly squeezing and drawing a little bit of blood from her claws. " Oh hush big baby, " says Mineru who spits the on my wounds with more of the mixture and rubbing it in.
" Zelda this is abuse I tell you," I say as Zelda practices with her defender longsword. She looks at me and says," no it isn't you're just a baby, plus how can it be abused?"
" Wha... Ow ow ow," I say as Mineru rubs more on me before she grabs my chin and places a bitterbug in my mouth. I immediately jerk away and start spitting and gagging as both Mineru and Zelda start laughing.
" Hah ha ha," I say sarcastically as I try to wash away the bitterbug taste, " so are the weapons in the slate useless now since we have these new ones?" I ask as Zelda ponders the options.
" Keep them, we might not have any use but I'm sure others might and we could always use the arrows for the simple fact some of them are magical in nature." She says as I nod and so does Mineru.
" Ok now onto the next shrine, and afterwards we find someplace safe for the upcoming nights. We can't just use the tower all the time and we all need some baths." I say as Zelda takes a wiff of herself and cringes at her smelly clothes.
" Agreed, also in the next shrine I'll teach you both the zonai technique called fuse," says Mineru who smells herself as well and mutters, " how I miss my stone tub and soaps now."
I stand up grabbing my defender heavy bowgun and slinging the collapsed weapon on my back as Zelda sheathes her sword. I look at her and start mentally picturing her in armors from the monster hunter games and even the Manga monster Hunter:orage . (A/n: yes this is real and it's written by the same person that done fairy tail and rave master.)
I look at Mineru and picture her with a glaive or charge blade for some reason dressed in the more elegant style armors out there.
Walking through the twisting labyrinth of the Abbey ruins we finally reach the center just as the sun is about to set. Walking through the central yard towards the back where we can see some of the shrine's orange lights, when I stop and push Zelda and Mineru down.
Fahzzzzzttttt poooooosh
Just in time for a guardian laser to fire right over our heads. Zelda immediately freezes locking up as I grab her along with mineru's help as a second laser is fired hitting some stone walls that we took refuge behind. Zelda starts breathing erratically as she gains a far away look and I growl in frustration. I slinging the bowgun I grab a canister of shots and load the special wyvernheart compartment.
" Mineru when I start firing at the thing take Zelda and get to the shrine. Use a bomb arrow to break the broken wall and wait for me." I say as I slam the two halves together priming the weapon. I move out from cover drawing the attention of the guardian and I spot the fucker before diving away from a laser. I aim the bowgun and unload what is essentially a 50 caliber Browning fire at the guardian.
The sounds of shots hitting metal ring through the air as I concentrate on aiming at the guardians eyes. The shot wizz through the air striking the pocked marked metal and reinforced lens of the guardian causing it to spin and loose target of us. Mineru runs with Zelda as I fire some more this time aiming for the glowing groove where large gears are exposed. Soon the wyvernheart runs out and I collapse the weapon before dashing towards the open shrine where I see Mineru already waiting for me. Rushing towards the shrine I passed the guardian as it looks at me once again and I immediately go into a slide uncollapsing the bowgun and firing one shot straight into it's eye destroying the glass and hitting the guardian. It starts smoking and spinning erratically and then explodes sending bent metal, and machine parts across the central area.
" Kyros," shouts Zelda running towards me and checks me over as Mineru sighs and mumbles something I can't hear even with my enhanced hearing. Zelda finished her check over as I laugh slightly and pick up an ancient screw saying," so done checking me over, wanna screw?"
She blushes real hard and starts beating my chest as I laugh holding out the screw. She turns around furious and says," see if I care about your well being after this. " I watch her march to the shrine and huffs activating it and gets on the platform with Mineru and myself.
" The ride down seems long and awkward so I apologize or try to when Zelda glares at me saying," I'll have you know I'm not some loose harlot that flitters around spreading my legs. No matter what people say!"
" Umm, sorry," I say as I look at her as she blinks and apologizes as well.
Zelda's POV
' uhh, kyros is so frustrating. Always doing the noble thing like the great jaggi fight, or the guardian fight. Then he acts like a pervert with his words,' I think as I remember some details of my past. No clear pictures only conversations. Gossip I remember hearing about from the castle staff and guards. I remember crying myself to sleep when my personal knight assigned by my father, such vile word for that man, tried to assault me. Impa saved me before he could but my father waved it off.
After that incident I never slept without locking the windows and doors, going as far as making bars for them. I shudder slightly as I feel the crampness of the shrine elevator. Soon the shrine opens up and I see a room with a ramped section leading to some cracked blocks. Walking forward to the guidance stone, something that I remember, and placing the slate on it as well as kyros placing his bracelet. A tear drop forms after the ancient shiekah runes tinkle their information into it and it drops splashing on the surface of the tablet and bracelet.
Picking the slate up I see at least twelve icons appear labeled bombs.
round bomb: a round bomb perfect for rolling down hills. Remote will not explode on impact. Will float on water.

I grin at the new runes and summon the bombchu holding the cute mouse shaped bomb in my arms and kyros immediately runs away from me trying to leave the shrine.
" Put that thing back where it came from or so help me," he says as Mineru rubs her chin and says," I believe that was a musical once."
I look at her dropping the bombchu on accident sending it towards kyros as he runs for the cracked blocks. He disappears over the ramps lip and soon the bombchu follows and I hear him say," not ag...."
Boom
Mineru and I immediately run over seeing kyros smoking and the path way open as he says," did you order the original recipe or extra crispy." And he passes out as I laugh along with Mineru.
