What a joke!
That was a ten-thousand-year Earth Cavern Demon Spider—how could he just give it up like that?
"No way, Brother San… maybe just let it go,"
Xiao Wu suddenly spoke up, her voice tinged with worry. She was the only one among the girls who hadn't been charmed by Shi Hao's outward cuteness. As a hundred-thousand-year soul beast reborn into human form, she instinctively sensed a dangerous aura radiating from Shi Hao.
"Xiao Wu… even you…"
Tang San's face fell. He couldn't give up this Earth Cavern Demon Spider—not just because it was his chosen fourth spirit ring, but because the damn spider had eaten his Fragrant Silk Immortal Herb!
At this point, Tang San was basically at a net loss.
"Don't try to talk me out of it. I need that spirit ring," Tang San said firmly, his gaze locking onto Shi Hao.
"Kid, hand over that Earth Cavern Demon Spider, or don't blame me for bullying the weak!"
"No!"
Shi Hao shook his head again, clearly baffled.
"You're so mean! I already said this little spider is my friend! Why do you still want to kill it?"
He puffed up his chest. "Fine! Beat me in a fight, and I'll give it up."
Tang San's eyes narrowed, and Dai Mubai, Oscar, and Ma Hongjun chimed in right behind him.
"Exactly. This is the soul beast Brother San found. Doesn't matter if it's your pet or not—if we beat it, it's ours."
"Don't waste time talking to him, Tang San. Just snatch it. What's a kid gonna do, cry?"
The guys clearly favored the law of the jungle—power ruled all. To them, even if the spider had been tamed, it didn't matter. Just take it by force.
They didn't believe Shi Hao had subdued the spider by strength anyway. Probably some special technique, or someone from his family helped.
The girls frowned in unison.
Tang San fighting a child? That was just… low. No way the kid could win.
They were about to stop him when Shi Hao suddenly nodded.
"Alright. I agree… but if you lose, you're not allowed to hurt my little spider!"
The girls panicked, but Tang San was already grinning.
"Good. It's a deal."
He immediately shifted into a battle stance, spirit energy gathering in preparation to unleash a soul skill and teach this brat a lesson.
BAM!
Before Tang San could even react, a black blur flickered in front of him. His chest exploded in pain.
BOOM!
He flew backward, crashing through a line of trees like a ragdoll, coughing up a mouthful of blood.
"Ugh…"
Shi Hao stood where Tang San had been, his face full of "regret."
"You're that weak? I thought you'd be stronger than that… sorry, didn't hold back enough."
"Brother San!"
The others rushed forward, shocked beyond belief.
"How is this possible? The kid didn't even release a martial soul just now—was that pure physical strength?!"
"This… this is unreal. Who is this child?"
Even Yu Xiaogang and the others looked on in stunned disbelief. They couldn't see through Shi Hao at all.
"Uwah…"
Tang San vomited more blood, feeling like his organs had been rearranged. This kid… was a monster! He'd guessed the kid wasn't normal, but this was something else.
All of Shrek's so-called "monsters among monsters," the Seven Devils themselves, were now speechless. A six-year-old child had just flattened Tang San in a single blow. This wasn't "talent" anymore. This was divine-level freakishness.
Shi Hao bounced over and crouched by Tang San, smiling brightly.
"You lost!"
Tang San: "???"
Xiao Wu rushed over and checked Tang San's injuries. When she saw his condition, her face turned furious.
"How could you hit him so hard?! You've gone too far!"
To Xiao Wu, Tang San meant everything.
"I, Shi Hao, act as I will. I owe explanations to no one!"
Shi Hao suddenly straightened his back and spoke with a deadly serious face.
Everyone: "???"
Where did this kid learn that line? Why did it sound so… iconic?
"You think you're so tough? That was just a sneak attack! If my Brother San had fought you properly, he would've won easily!"
Shi Hao raised his head proudly.
"Anyone I defeat—I don't count them as my opponent. I'll give you time… time to catch up, until I disappear from your sight."
He spoke solemnly, that adorable face making the scene all the more absurd.
"You—!"
Xiao Wu was fuming, but Tang San just clenched his teeth and said nothing. His eyes locked onto Shi Hao's abdomen as his hand quietly slipped out a Dragon Beard Needle…
Just then, Yu Xiaogang and Flender stepped up. Shi Hao had injured Tang San—there was no way they could just let this go.
"You dare hurt my student… then today, you're not leaving. We'll hold you here until your elders come to claim you!"
Yu Xiaogang said coldly. Beside him, Flender's soul power began to surge, a faint aura of a Soul Saint releasing.
"Xiao Gang, don't be rash!!"
Liu Erlong gasped. How could they attack a child?!
ROAR!!!
Before Flender could take another step, the tiger beneath Shi Hao—who had been quiet all this time—suddenly let out an earth-shaking roar!
ROOOAR!!!
The shockwave sent Flender and the others stumbling back several paces, their eyes wide with shock as they stared at Shi Hao and the white tiger beneath him.
"That… that's the pressure of a ten-thousand-year soul beast…"
"No, not just ten thousand… that's at least thirty-thousand years! And it probably has a rare bloodline too."
Everyone stared, dumbfounded, at the White Tiger Shi Hao was riding.
At this moment, the tiger finally looked satisfied. This was the awe and fear a mighty soul beast like it deserved!
Smack!
Shi Hao's little fist landed on the tiger's head.
"What are you roaring for?! You scared me!!"
He glared.
The tiger immediately wilted, letting out a pitiful little mewl.
"Meow…"
Flender and the rest were completely stunned.
What the hell was going on?! This kid… could control such a terrifying soul beast like it was nothing?!
And that tiger—clearly at least thirty-thousand years old—was afraid of him!
Shi Hao looked up again, eyes innocent, voice soft.
"So… are you sure you wanna fight me?"
