Both the young masters were searching for their type of weapon after a half an hour and few attempts Falkner was able to remove and wield a broad sword best suite for parry and defence , he then saw Thomas and said, " Hey see I got a large sword with this i destroy even a mountain....HAHAaaaah"." As if you can" Thomas said in a sarcastic way. How childish may be but the words of Falkner weren't weightless, the broad sword was known as Mulet which was owned by the bodyguard of the velkin head 4 generation ago. The bodyguard had a buff body and indeed he once teared a cliff with that sword to crush the enemy.
After getting his falkner was trying to swing it while Thomas still finding his, After many tries Thomas was worried as he thought ( shit what the hell is going on that twerp was able to get a sword but why can't I....this is the last sword of I can't pull it then...) while he was pulling suddenly something came out and he slipped down but he was still happy he got something due to dirt he couldn't se what he was holding....
After getting back up and cleaning what he saw was shocking," SHIT!!! the hell a hilt " , his noise called the guard and falkner both at the scene. Upon coming they saw Thomas holding only a hilt and the sword still stuck in the ground..
"Haha so you weren't able to wield this one too....poor you anyways Mr. Mendez let's go I got my sword and these fool got nothing...." falkner said has he ward off. Thomas looking to Mendez asked him," All of my siblings got something but I couldn't what will happen too me "...Mendez still in shocked consoled him by saying," Yes this is something which raely happened to the bloodline of velkins, but I can assure you the lord will understand your problem".
Falkner with a large smile and Thomas with a dulled face both a side of the same coin returned to the estate with Mendez. Upon returning falkner started showing off his story and sword to the servants and Thomas ran and shut himself in his room.
" you see that happened after that Mendez reported me about it". Alicia replied with a concerning tone," that's a grave problem....concerning the future of Thomas".
Duke with a vague tone replied, " Yes it is but there's a solution "...." What is it ?", Alicia asked with a hurried tone.
Duke with a sigh replied," we could send him to the house of peers as my great grandfather did with my grandfather's brother". Alicia with a baffled tone said," you mean you want to send him to the house of those old hags and failures...he is just a kid...." the Duke interrupted and said ," Yes as you said failure". In the family of velkin the ones with no proficiency for sword were considered as failure.
The house of the peers was a place were such failures and the old warriors who were no longer able to wield stayed. Just for saying it was a house but actually it was a hell for newbies where the strongest reigns it was a dark place away from the eyes of the world....
"YOU can't send hi....", the Duke interrupted Alicia by saying," you have came after a long time rest a little I'll take care of this matter". The Duke feigning ignorance to the blabbering of Alicia set out for hunting.
