Suspicion gnawed at Killian. This was the perfect chance to know what Nicholas was up to, and he wasn't going to let the opportunity slip.
He grabbed his phone and sent a text to Hailey, letting her know he would be home late. Once he was done, he kept the phone in his pocket and walked towards the bar.
He found someone coming out which caused him to hide himself quickly behind Nicholas' car as the staff left. Killian watched the staff who seemed to be the same height as he was, and almost built like he was. Just that Killian had more pounds of flesh than the staff.
If he went in there just like that, Nicholas was going to recognize him. He needed a disguise.
He went to where the staff was and tapped him on the shoulder.
"We're still closed. Please, come back in the next few ho—" The staff didn't get the chance to complete his words when a jaw-breaking punch landed on him. Immediately, he lost consciousness.
