I wake up to the sound of something different... And thats, good, different is always good.
"I got out!?, I finally got out!?"
I got out of bed, ran downstairs and saw something amazing! NO PANCAKES! 30 Years of eating pancakes for breakfast, and finally something different.
"Good morning~" a familiar voice... Mom... Is finally home.
Every day that repeated, I was only able to hear her voice through a voice message she sent me. She was on her way home, a 15 hour flight... No matter how many loops, you can't do anything if she mid-flight. I once tried to commandeer a fighter jet just to fly next to her plane... But that's a story for another time. It was just good to see mom again.
"Good morning" I replied, while holding tears back.
It's weird to say this, given that I've been here the whole time, but getting out of that loop felt as if I finally got home.
Today, I'll bask in all that is different. Conversations that I've never had, News that's new to me, free from the patterns of yesterday that I've mastered, free from the guilt of inaction while knowing events...
"I heard you've had quite the day yesterday... A gift came for you this morning, from Axion group. Did you know anyone from there?"
"Ah- I just helped someone from that company yesterday. It was nothing big, I'm surprised they sent something for something so small..."
I don't know how and why I got out of that time loop, but one thing's for certain. I'm free... and you would be surprised what you can learn and achieve within day.
