Chapter 8 - Revelations (Light Explicit Content)

As her grogginess subsided, she realized she was in a different room. She looked around, and didn't find her husband, Jun.

As she tried to call for her husband, her throat felt dry.

She grabbed her throat; the memory of last night left her blushing. She tilted her head, expecting a sore throat from that rough deep-throat; she didn't feel anything, but there was a slight itch in her lower bits.

"He was quite rough last night," she muttered under her breath, standing up from the makeshift bed formed by joining two couches in the darkness of the basement.

On her way, she stepped over Stacy and Maya, who were sleeping on a mattress—also a temporary setup. She could make out her sisters-in-law and mother-in-law sleeping on the other side of the room. Like Stacy and Maya, both Sarah and Claire were on mattresses, while her mother-in-law had taken the other couch.

She didn't notice that she could see in the completely dark room.

As she reached the first floor, the living room was dimly lit by a single lamp, and she could hear faint, rhythmic grunts. When she arrived, she saw her husband doing push-ups, his body glistening with sweat.

I gasped and asked. "What are you doing, honey?"

He was doing push-ups, effortlessly balancing a piece of heavy furniture like it was light as air.

"What? I'm just trying to get in shape," he shrugged, like using furniture as gym equipment was the most reasonable thing in the world.

Morning light and the soft chirping of birds filtered in through the small cracks in the reinforced windows.

Watching Jun like that, she felt another twitch in her pussy. Looking at her husband like this and the roughness of last night left her gazing at Jun a bit too long.

"What, want to go at it again?" he said, grinning as he set the furniture down, unapologetic.

The question snapped her out of it. She shook her head, trying to clear the thoughts.

The day just started. What are you even thinking, Ruby? She muttered, blushing crimson.

"With that said, honey, we can't do it. We've got a lot to prepare today," he said, a hint of seriousness in his tone.

"I'm really hungry. Can you quickly make something and wake the others? I'll explain everything over breakfast," he added, heading toward the garage door.

I didn't have time to process what he said; his sudden serious expression threw me off.

Guess I'll have to wait till breakfast, I thought, turning to freshen up, when I heard light footsteps coming from the basement stairs.

It was her, Mei, my mother-in-law.

She wore a knowing grin and said, "You know, it was really hard to sleep with someone screaming like a banshee last night." Her words instantly reminded me of my embarrassing outburst.

Then she added, "There were moments I thought you'd attract those monsters we keep seeing on the news. You know how scared we were," she said innocently, teasing me, making my cheeks flush even more.

I gave her a playful smack on the back; our relationship was nothing like the usual in-law dynamic.

"Mother, please stop. And can you wake the others up? Jun has something important to tell us," I asked, trying to change the subject.

"If that's the case, I might have something important to tell you too," she replied, still smirking as she turned and headed back toward the basement.

I sighed and made my way to the guest room's bathroom.

I looked at my wife, passed out naked after our rougher-than-usual session.

I felt refreshed—satisfied in a way I hadn't in a long time. We were always intimate, having sex almost daily, skipping only a few days or when she was on her period.

But today was different. I knew why.

It was that mysterious power... the one I gained after killing those monsters in the city.

I can't deny it anymore or pretend it's nothing. Just knowing there's something magical about this strength is enough to change how we survive this apocalypse.

I can protect them. My family. With this power.

But the real question is... am I the only one?

I'll bring it up tomorrow. We all need to talk about this.

Deciding that, I looked around the room. The lights were out, and it was fully night—no light from the windows—yet I could see everything clearly.

The room was a mess: tangled bedsheets, curtains half-torn, and things scattered across the floor.

"Maybe I overdid it this time," I muttered.

I moved to tidy up, but then—WHACK—my pinky toe smashed into the bed leg.

"FUCK!" I cursed. So much for enhanced vision.

I flipped the light switch—nothing. Tried again. Still nothing.

Oh, right... The power went out while I was in the bath.

Still, it feels too early for the power grid to start failing.

I navigated to find clothes from the closet.

Deciding to take action, I headed toward the stairs to fix the lighting problem.

On my way, I noticed a dim lamplight glowing in the corner. There she was—my mom.

She caught my eye with a knowing grin. I looked back at her, offering a shy smile.

"Can you clean the room a little? I'll quickly check the breaker panel," I said.

She smirked, crossing her arms.

"After the workout, you gave your wife? I'm surprised you've got the strength to flip a breaker. Try not to pass out, champ."

I chuckled and made my way to the garage, where the breaker panel was.

I glanced up at the ceiling. The moans had been going on for a while — soft at first, then shameless. But now, suddenly... silence.

I bit the inside of my cheek, pulse ticking just a little faster.

"Girls, stay here," I said, brushing a hand through my hair as casually as I could. "I'm going to check on those two."

Stacy and Sofia giggled behind me, clearly enjoying the show even from a floor away. My daughters, huddled on the couch, pretended not to hear, faces flushed.

I shook my head, smirking to myself.

"Sigh... They need to calm down," she muttered, a hint of arousal in her voice.

A part of me knew I was just using concern as an excuse — but I had to know. What the hell were they doing up there?

Taking one of the lamps, I headed upstairs; the house was completely dark—not even a sliver of outside light reached in.

At the corner of the stairs, I ran into my son, who was also coming down to fix the lights after all those workouts.

I made my way toward his bedroom. It was a mess.

Then I saw it—my daughter-in-law—she was passed out, fluids all over her, face a mess and hand-prints all over her body, picturing what kind of rough sex she had, her hands went to her lower part, which started to leak.

And she moves toward the bed, getting a closer look.

White liquid, still wet, pooled over her back as her hips arched upwards, with even larger streams flowing from her hole.

My hand reached and scooped a large droplet on my hand.

It felt like my mind wasn't in the right place as I slowly slid that finger into my mouth. Tasting my own son's cum. A little too eager, too excited.

As she reached for another scoop. Suddenly, a floating screen appeared in front of her, snapping her out of the immoral act she was about to commit.

Maybe it's because I've been holding all this sexual tension in for more than two years... I don't know anymore, I thought, horror flickering across my face.

I just don't know.

My gaze snapped to the glowing panel suspended in midair before me.

As I read what was displayed, a shock ran through me.

***

It was around 10:00 PM.

I found a mini hand torch lying on the ground and started inspecting the fuse box.

I tried flipping the main switch on and off—nothing.

Just as I suspected, the main power grid was out.

To confirm, I stepped outside, to see if the problem was just with our house.

The moon was bright, casting a luminous glow over the neighborhood. But it was eerily quiet.

No lights were on in any of the houses, reaffirming my suspicion.

I turned back inside—but just then, I heard noise coming from the bushes.

I tensed, preparing myself as I moved closer.

Thinking I can take a few of them if it comes to that.

Just as I assumed, two small creatures—blending into the dark night—jumped at me. But I could see them clearly.

I dodged the first one's claw with a quick tilt of my head to the left. The other came at me with a club, swinging hard at my midsection.

But I caught it—stopped the club with both hands.

The creature froze, confused. He must've thought I was just another weak human, easy prey.

With a solid roundhouse kick, I sent him flying back into the bushes.

Amused with myself.

I can do that?

The next moment, I felt another claw swipe coming from behind. I didn't even need to see it—somehow, I just knew.

Trusting this newfound power, I ducked low and twisted my body, stretching all the way back to charge up a punch.

Then—BAAM—a shockwave burst around me as I punched the guts out of that creature.

The other one looked a little more cautious now.

In a swift leap, I was already beside him. His eyes hadn't even finished tracking me—he realized too late.

He tried to swing his weapon, but with another charged punch, I took him out too—this time, straight to the head.

I looked at my hand, glowing faintly blue.

Damn... this feels amazing.

After that, I checked around the house—confident I could handle anything now. Once I was sure there were no more threats nearby, I went back inside.

I should ask Mom for dinner... and carry Ruby to the basement. No way she's walking after tonight.

I smirked to myself as I headed downstairs.
