A new day, the sun is shining brightly.
But Florence Fuller isn't feeling bright.
After a long night and arriving on time at the office to finish the remaining work, by noon, the manager had already urged her several times to send the organized materials to the office.
She sighed and looked at the manager with a smile: "Don't you know how much stuff there is? There's still an hour until twelve, what's the rush."
The manager's face changed, walked away.
Sister Keaton came over and reached out to take some of her remaining items: "Let me help you with this, or else you might be too busy to eat later."
"No, no, no." Florence stopped her, afraid of implicating her: "In such a big place, you don't know who's under Director Johnson, better let me handle it myself."
Sister Keaton understood her concerns, yet felt helpless: "Helping out a bit shouldn't be that big a deal."
Florence raised an eyebrow: "Did losing your position as head of the department have much to do with yourself?"
