Year 2032 on the solar calendar :- First decent of the tower
The tower descended in a metaphorical sense , it actually just appeared out of thin air floating on the earth's atmosphere right above the Atlantic ocean , and for a while no one had noticed it.
The first property of the tower documented was it's dual nature , it could be seen through the naked eye but when a radar , a camera or any other device was used no reading , or picture would appear , therefore it was theorized to be in a state of exitance and non-existence at once.
The second property was documented when a manned mission towards the tower was initiated by the US but when their aircraft approached one side of the tower they disappeared , only to reappear on the other side of the tower upon question the pilots stated that the tower seemed to disappear in thin air when they got near it.
The third property was the constantly shining star shaped beacon on top of the tower ,which shined bright enough to be seen from Venus.
As news of the strange structure spread across the globe , as expected the subject of Alien's came up as mass panic spread across the informed populace , however due the tower breaking all known law's of physic's the theory was disapproved.
Year 2039 of the solar calendar :- Appearance of Alien's
Strange humanoid life forms descended from the tower to meet with world leader's around the globe , the being's called themselves the " celestial's " and they came to humanity with a proposal , every 5 year's they would allow 20 of humanity's chosen representative's to ascend the tower , they came with promises of riches and prosperity not just for one country but the human race as a whole.
Year 2041 of the solar calendar :- Creation of the Terran militia
To make sure that one nation could not monopolize the resources from the tower a organisation was formed with every nation in the world having equal say in the matter's within the tower.
With it the first generation of acender's from humanity were chosen.
Year 2043 of the solar calendar :-End of poverty , Food shortages and pollution
The terrain militia managed to reach floor 10 within the tower and via the celestial's help sent back artifact's from the tower.
These artifact's held immense and miraculous power , by extracting the effect of one artifact food shortages were ended , with another artifact an engine which could split any compound down to its base component's was made , with it hydrogen was mass produced and used as fuel.
Several technological leaps which would've taken humanity hundred's of years to make was done in a few year's.
Year 2087 of the solar calendar :-The ladder of heaven
Humanity has stopped all effort for space exploration and has diverted all of its focus to climbing higher and higher in the tower , all war's have been ended why wage war when you could be diverting those resources to conquer the tower ? what's the point in space exploration with the tower will provide humanity with everything it will need for the rest of time?.
Thus humanity continued their ascent which was managed completely by the enigmatic celestial's , but sometimes crack's do appear and one cant know what will come through those crack's.
