Three people were walking down a corridor carved from stone with a woman in the middle.
Her eyes were blindfolded.

After a short walk, they reached a large hall.
From there, they entered a narrow tunnel through a gate.
Tap! Tap! Tap!
Their footsteps echoed again as they moved deeper.
Soon, they reached a cave-like room.
The walls were rough and made of jagged stone.
It looked ancient and untouched by time.
In the center of the room, there was an elderly man sitting in a lotus position on a slab of black stone.
Beside him stood another man
As the three emerged from the tunnel,
the standing man turned around at the sound of their arrival.
It was Elder Edward.
Edward gave a small gesture with his hand,
and both Zereth and the other man quietly stepped back, fading into the tunnel behind them.
Their retreating footsteps echoed faintly—
and just from that sound,
Mirena could tell that those two who brought her here had left her alone.
