Chapter 39 - Chapter 39: The World Watched Me Break a God, and Now They Won’t Shut Up

The message spread faster than fire in dry wheat.

"KAZUKI PUNCHED A GOD.""HE WON.""THE SKY BLINKED."

Every scrying mirror.Every quest log.Every interface that could receive divine data—

glitched.

Players screamed.Clerics wept.A forum thread titled "Kazuki is Our God Now (MEGA THEORY DUMP)" hit 9,000 posts in five minutes.

Somewhere, someone got a tattoo of Kazuki mid-punch before the day even ended.

Kazuki did not celebrate.

He sat on a ruined stone, staring at his hands.

They didn't glow anymore.

Not with power. Not with righteousness.

Just with the residue of system blood.

The rest of the party saw the broadcast too.

Kaelith stared in silence.

Vera dropped her staff.

Darin said, "...You know, for a second, I thought he was gonna apologize for something."

Mistral? Mistral just watched the sky.

"And now the others will come."

Because Seravex?

Wasn't the only god.

He was the least dangerous.

And right on cue—

the shadows moved.

High above, on the roof of a dead cathedral, a figure stood watching the world go sideways.

Cloak flapping. Mask cracked. Aura bent at a 45° angle like he'd been edited one too many times.

Kazuki.exe.

The Echo That Became Real.

He watched Kazuki's broadcast.

Watched the god bleed.

Watched the people begin to choose sides.

"So. He's ready."

Another figure stood beside him—barefoot, eyes stitched shut, wrapped in red strings of corrupted fate.

A failed Vessel.

A Null Clone.

A Remnant.

Kazuki.exe didn't blink.

"Assemble the others."

"It's time the Rewrite met the Reboot."

System update:

[New Faction Revealed: The Loopless]A cult of failed timelines, corrupted Vessels, and anti-system zealots.Their goal: kill the Rewrite.Their symbol: Kazuki's broken sigil.

Kazuki stood.

Still alone.

Still rewriting.

Still unrepentant.

And whispered, "Let them come."
