Chapter 125 - Chapter 125: Qi Method to Control Woeful Poison Body

Xiao Hua's expression lit up with joy and nostalgia upon hearing Lady Azure's voice.

"I never expected you to wake up at that moment, Sister Azure," he said with a smile.

"Perfect timing too," Lady Azure replied with confidence and amusement. "If it weren't for me, you would have lost consciousness and failed the eighth trial again."

"Haha… So you already know about my previous failure…" Xiao Hua let out an embarrassed chuckle.

"I heard it from Sister Xue Yue. Apparently, she scolded you until your ears nearly bled. I wonder if she's still holding a grudge against you for ignoring my advice." Lady Azure's tone carried a hint of teasing.

"I still am, if you're curious." Xue Yue interjected, her voice carrying clear displeasure, which only made Lady Azure giggle in amusement.

"I understand that you're desperate to grow stronger because of that little lass, but that's no excuse to challenge the trial so recklessly," she added, a touch of irritation lacing her words.

"Alright, let's not be mad anymore. It seems our little brother have learn his lesson." Lady Azure chuckled, her tone light and teasing.

Xiao Hua coughed lightly, feeling slightly embarrassed to linger on this topic. Not wanting it to spiral out of control, he quickly shifted the conversation. "Anyway, it seems you're confident in my ability to defeat a strong Dou Zun."

"Of course, child," Lady Azure replied with a hint of exasperation. One could almost hear her rolling her eyes through her tone.

"With your capabilities, even peak Dou Zuns wouldn't pose much of a threat to you, let alone those beneath them. Especially considering the eight trials of Heavenly Judgement Lightning you've endured over the past few months—each one carrying a high risk of death," Xue Yue said coldly. Yet beneath her words was an unmistakable warmth and confidence in him.

"Be proud of yourself, child," Lady Azure said gently. "And rest assured, your strength is far greater than you realize."

"Thank you, Sister Azure, Sister Xue Yue." Xiao Hua felt genuine joy at their unwavering trust in him. He had truly missed the times when he could speak with both Sister Azure and Sister Xue Yue together.

"Regardless, child, you certainly have some unique girls by your side." Lady Azure paused for a moment before adding, "What do you think, Sister Xue Yue?"

"Other than those two, the other one is a bit more… normal," Xue Yue said with a sigh.

"But I quite like her noble demeanor, sister," Lady Azure replied, amusement lacing her voice. "Especially considering what this child has experienced with her over the past few days in the caves."

"That was merely entertainment for you, sister," Xue Yue remarked, a hint of exasperation in her cold tone.

"That may be true, but it's not every day you come across something as unique and strange as the two little girls beside her." Lady Azure chuckled softly.

Naturally, Xiao Hua understood exactly who they were referring to. Choosing to ignore the topic of Yun Yun, his expression remained unchanged as he asked, "Are you talking about Little Fairy Doctor and Zi Yan?"

"That's right. One possesses the Woeful Poison Body, while the other carries the Royal Bloodline of the Ancient Void Dragon—an extremely pure one at that," Lady Azure responded, her tone carrying a hint of astonishment.

"I've discussed this matter with Sister Xue Yue before, but does Sister Azure know of a method to fully control it and allow her to unleash the full potential of the Woeful Poison Body?" Xiao Hua asked, raising his brows slightly.

"Hehe. Naturally, I do—several, in fact," Lady Azure chuckled confidently.

"However, let's wait until she reaches Dou Zong and gains at least some control over her poison strength. That way, her body will be able to withstand the treatment I have in mind without the risk of exploding. Until then, help her refine her control."

Xiao Hua's lips curled into a faint smile as he nodded, indicating his understanding. He was relieved that Lady Azure had a method to help Little Fairy Doctor.

In the meantime, before she advanced to the Dou Zong class, he could give her the Ghostly Poison Flame—a treasure he had obtained from the System's Gacha. This flame could stabilize the Woeful Poison Body, preventing its unpredictable eruptions.

Moreover, the immense poisonous strength accumulated within the Ghostly Poison Flame would significantly boost her power.

The only reason he hadn't given it to her earlier was that he lacked the proper Qi Method to fully harness the strength of a Heavenly Flame. So, he had been holding onto it—waiting for Lady Azure's awakening.

"By the way, Sister, I've obtained the Ghostly Poison Flame. Do you happen to know a Qi Method compatible with the Woeful Poison Body?" Xiao Hua asked.

"I never expected you to possess such a thing…" Lady Azure's voice carried a hint of astonishment. "If that's the case, we don't need to wait until she reaches Dou Zong. As long as she advances to Dou Wang, we can begin helping her gain full control over the Woeful Poison Body."

"That doesn't sound like it will take long…" Xiao Hua said with a smile, his heart surging with joy at her words.

Little Fairy Doctor had already broken through to the Dou Ling class after just one week. This was all thanks to her continuously absorbing poison, while Xiao Hua carefully managed poison strength within her body to prevent Woeful Poison Body's sudden eruptions.

Chi!

The sharp sound of rushing wind suddenly echoed as three delicate figures swiftly flew over, stopping beside Xiao Hua.

"Are you alright? Why were you smiling and staring into space?" Little Fairy Doctor asked anxiously, her gaze immediately scanning his body for any injuries.

"I'm fine, Little Fairy Doctor," Xiao Hua reassured her with a smile. "After successfully passing the trial, my body healed instantly. I don't have any injuries."

"Really now? You sure know how to make people worry about you, Xiao Hua!" Zi Yan sighed, shaking her head in exasperation.

"It wasn't intentional." Xiao Hua could only offer a helpless smile. Raising his hand, he clenched and unclenched his fist a few times before saying, "But with this, my strength has advanced to eight-star Dou Zong. The surge of newfound power left me a little distracted."

"But that also means you still have one more trial to pass." Yun Yun's beautiful eyes narrowed slightly at his words. How could she not know that he had to overcome one last hurdle before reaching the peak of Dou Zong?

She paused for a brief moment before letting out a sigh, her gaze filled with concern. "I know it's tempting, especially after feeling a surge of strength, but don't be reckless and challenge the ninth trial without proper preparation…"

"Don't worry. I've already learned my lesson—I won't be reckless anymore," Xiao Hua reassured Yun Yun, fully understanding her concern.

Hearing his words, Yun Yun nodded and let out a soft sigh of relief. However, a trace of somberness flickered across her expression before she quickly concealed it. Lifting her head, her beautiful eyes swept over the group, and she spoke in a slightly dispirited tone.

"Since Xiao Hua has recovered and successfully advanced, I shall take my leave."

Xiao Hua raised an eyebrow. "It seems you need to return to your sect, Yun Yun."

"I've been away for quite some time. If I don't return soon, they'll start worrying about my situation," Yun Yun replied with a nod.

She hesitated briefly, her gaze lingering on Xiao Hua before she finally spoke. "There's something I'm curious about… Will you be attending the duel between Xiao Yan and my disciple? It will take place in less than three years."

Xiao Hua rubbed his chin, a contemplative glint flashing across his eyes. He had to admit—he was somewhat curious about this event.

He had heard from Yao Chen that after the Adulthood Ceremony—also known as the Coming of Age Ceremony—Xiao Yan would be heading to the Magical Beast Mountain Range for training. The purpose was to sharpen both his mind and combat skills.

Their final destination, however, would be the Tager Desert. With its blistering heat and harsh environment, it was the most suitable place for those practicing Fire and Earth-type Qi Methods.

But Xiao Hua wasn't particularly interested in Xiao Yan and Yao Chen's journey, nor was he concerned about the fight or outcome of the 'Three-Year Agreement.' What truly intrigued him was what would happen afterward.

When he had broken through to the Heavenly State, he had spread his Spiritual Strength across the entire Jia Ma Empire—yet he hadn't sensed a single trace of Protector Wu or any other members of the Hall of Souls.

Having fought Protector Fu before, he was familiar with the eerie and sinister aura that members of the Hall of Souls emitted. Yet, no such presence could be felt anywhere in the Jia Ma Empire.

Were they simply not here yet? Or had something changed?

Regardless, he had no interest in watching a mere formal duel. This 'Three-Year Agreement' was bound to be peaceful—no unexpected twists, no dramatic conflicts, and certainly no entanglements of love. It wasn't something that required his attention.

His priority right now is reaching the peak of Dou Zong as soon as possible and reuniting with his sworn brothers and sisters. Diverting his focus to the Three-Year Agreement simply wasn't worth it.

Besides, even if something unexpected did occur, it would only serve to push Xiao Yan to become stronger. That was preferable, as it meant Xiao Hua could leave matters concerning the Xiao Clan to him while he focused on his own path.

"Probably not." After a brief silence, he shook his head and smiled. Meeting his sworn brothers and sisters was far more important to him.

Moreover, with Lady Azure's confirmation, he was now certain that his current strength allowed him to rival a strong Dou Zun. This meant he could travel through the Central Plains without any concerns for his safety.

Yun Yun sighed, a hint of disappointment flickering in her eyes. "That's a bit disappointing, but I will inform the others to treat the Third Young Master of the Xiao Clan with the proper hospitality."

"Thank you, Yun Yun." Xiao Hua smiled at her words.

He trusted that she would look after Xiao Yan, as long as nothing major diverted her attention—such as the possibility of Xiao Yan being surrounded by the Misty Cloud Sect, which may or may not happen in the future.

After bidding farewell, Yun Yun gently passed Little Fairy Doctor to Xiao Hua. The moment she fell into his embrace, her face flushed a deep crimson.

Then, the wings behind her fluttered, and in the next instant, her figure shot forward, transforming into a streak of green light as she swiftly left the Magical Beast Mountain Range.

"So, where are we heading next? Will we return to your clan?" After seeing Yun Yun's figure disappeared, Zi Yan turned to Xiao Hua, her voice laced with curiosity. However, a faint reluctance could be heard in her tone.

Clearly, she had no interest in going there. There was nothing for her to do, nor was there anyone she was particularly close to.

She much preferred the small valley, where countless medicinal herbs and fruits grew in abundance—ingredients that Xiao Hua could refine into delicious medicinal pills for her to enjoy.

"We can stay in the small valley until it is time for me to return and attend the Coming of Age Ceremony." Understanding her reluctance to head towards the Xiao Clan, Xiao Hua smiled and gently caressing her head and hair.

"Besides," he continued, his gaze shifting between Zi Yan and Little Fairy Doctor, who remained in his arms, "there's another reason I've chosen to remain there. But for now, let's head back."

Neither Zi Yan nor Little Fairy Doctor had any objections. Without further delay, the three of them set off, swiftly making their way back to the small valley.

"Sister Azure, Sister Xue Yue, if you don't mind."

After returning to the small valley, Xiao Hua gently set Little Fairy Doctor down before turning to Lady Azure and Xue Yue.

As soon as he spoke, two radiant lights—one icy white, the other beautiful emerald—emerged from his body. The lights shimmered brilliantly before coalescing into two ethereal figures, their beauty beyond mortal comprehension.

Little Fairy Doctor and Zi Yan had met Lady Xue Yue before, but this was their first time laying eyes on the other woman. However, the moment she appeared alongside Lady Xue Yue, they instinctively understood—this must be the sister she had spoken of.

At first glance, the two women bore a striking resemblance, standing side by side like celestial goddesses. Both possessed an unmatched, otherworldly beauty, capable of captivating the hearts of any who laid eyes upon them.

Yet, there was a distinct difference between them—one that went beyond mere appearance.

Lady Xue Yue exuded an aura of cold detachment, distant and indifferent, like the serene beauty of the moon against a starry night sky. She was the type of woman one could admire from afar, but never dare to approach.

Her sister, however, was the complete opposite. She radiated an irresistible allure, a temptation so intoxicating it could set hearts ablaze. Every movement, every glance, seemed to stir an unquenchable fire, drawing others toward her like moths to a flame.

Her sister stood with effortless grace, an ethereal beauty so divine it felt almost unreal. Her eyes, a mesmerizing blend of azure, white, dark purple, and emerald green, shimmered with an enigmatic brilliance.

They exuded a strange, almost hypnotic sensation—both alluring and mysterious, yet carrying an undeniable force of power and destruction, like a celestial phenomenon hidden within human form.

Her long, flowing green hair cascaded down to her waist, each strand silken and radiant. Streaks of color, mirroring the hues of her eyes, wove seamlessly through her locks, enhancing her otherworldly charm.

As the breeze whispered past, her hair swayed with an almost sentient grace, as if carrying the murmurs of nature itself.

Her porcelain-white skin was flawless, smooth like the finest jade, radiating a faint, otherworldly glow beneath the light. Every detail of her features—from the soft curve of her lips to the elegant arch of her brows—was breathtaking in its perfection.

Slender hands moved with unspoken grace, while her long, shapely legs lent an air of quiet allure. Her figure, neither exaggerated nor understated, exuded a natural charm—effortless yet impossible to ignore.

She wore a flowing green robe that draped over her form like water over jade, its delicate fabric shifting with her every movement. Intricate blue and purple adornments traced elegant patterns across the silk, reminiscent of petals drifting upon a tranquil river, adding a touch of quiet sophistication.

Whether standing still or caught in motion, she was a presence that lingered in the mind—a beauty that did not merely fade from sight but remained etched upon the soul.

"She is Sister Azure—the one I owe a great debt to. I regard her as both an older sister and my alchemy master," Xiao Hua introduced Lady Azure to Little Fairy Doctor and Zi Yan, who stared at the two of them in stunned silence.

Though they had seen Xue Yue before, they never imagined her sister could possess an equally breathtaking beauty.

"Greetings, Lady Azure."

Upon hearing Xiao Hua's introduction, both women quickly cupped their hands and bowed deeply, their eyes filled with admiration, respect, and awe. Their gestures were swift and sincere—an instinctive display of courtesy.

They knew that it was Lady Azure who had guided Xiao Hua to his current level, so it was only natural for them to show her extreme reverence—perhaps even more than Lady Xue Yue.

Lady Azure nodded with a faint smile. Her gaze shifted to Little Fairy Doctor, her eyes narrowing slightly. Though subtle, her keen perception detected something unmistakable—Woeful Poison Qi.

"I've heard about you from my sister. Just as she mentioned, I can help you with your Woeful Poison Body."

Little Fairy Doctor's eyes widened, and a flicker of hope ignited within them. Ever since discovering the true nature of her physique, she had been burdened with unease and doubt. But at this moment, those feelings seemed to lighten, replaced by the possibility of finally gaining control over her fate.

Even though Xiao Hua had assured her that he would prevent the Woeful Poison Body from harming anyone, Little Fairy Doctor still couldn't shake her unease. Deep down, she worried that its eruption might cause unnecessary trouble for him instead.

"You don't need to be so nervous, little girl." Lady Azure offered a soft smile, her voice gentle and reassuring.

She paused briefly, carefully examining Little Fairy Doctor's condition. Only after sensing that her tension had slowly eased did she continue speaking.

"Normally, I would wait until you reached the Dou Zong class before helping you fully harness the power of your physique. However, thanks to this child obtaining a certain treasure, we can shorten the process and begin once you advance to Dou Wang instead."

"A certain treasure?" Little Fairy Doctor's gaze flickered toward Xiao Hua, curiosity evident in her eyes. What kind of treasure could possibly rival the power of her unique constitution?

Xiao Hua, sensing her intrigue, smiled faintly. "It's the Ghostly Poison Flame, ranked twentieth on the Heavenly Flame Ranking."

"Heavenly Flame?!" Little Fairy Doctor flinched slightly at his words. As someone being taught by Xiao Hua about alchemy, she knew just how invaluable such flames were to alchemists.

"If that's the case, wouldn't it be better for you to refine it instead of giving it to me?" she said to Xiao Hua, her voice filled with astonishment.

"Normally, yes. But this Heavenly Flame is of no use to alchemists—much less to this child," Lady Azure said with a faint grin, waving her hand dismissively.

"The Ghostly Poison Flame is formed by absorbing rare and exotic poisons between heaven and earth. In essence, it is useless to alchemists but extremely beneficial to a Poison Master."

"I see…" Little Fairy Doctor nodded in understanding.

Alchemists needed to refine and merge medicinal ingredients into pills with utmost precision. However, due to the toxic nature of the Ghostly Poison Flame, there was a high risk of impurities merging into the pills, rendering them unstable or even dangerous. That was why no alchemist ever sought this flame.

"Regardless, I possess a unique Qi Method that allows one to fuse the volatile nature of the Woeful Poison Body with the lethal power of the Ghostly Poison Flame."

As she spoke, Lady Azure gently placed her delicate index finger on Little Fairy Doctor's forehead. In an instant, a surge of information flooded her mind.

"Netherflame Calamity Scripture—a Qi Method designed to merge the Woeful Poison Body's volatile nature with the lethal force of the Ghostly Poison Flame. Through this method, the practitioner tempers their body using the flame's poisonous essence, refining their own poison and achieving complete control over their physique."

"Once mastered, the user becomes an entity of pure destruction—wielding a boundless poisonous flame capable of melting both flesh and soul, while remaining immune to all poisons."

"By following the scripture, the Woeful Poison Body is no longer a curse but a weapon of unmatched terror. The practitioner can absorb poisons and flames alike, refining them into their own power instead of being consumed by them."

A moment later, Lady Azure withdrew her hand, her expression calm as she observed Little Fairy Doctor absorbing the newfound knowledge.

Little Fairy Doctor shut her eyes tightly as the torrent of information surged into her mind. Moments passed, and then, with a slow, almost trembling motion, she began to open them.

A radiant wave of emotions washed over her delicate features—an overwhelming joy she could barely contain. Tears welled at the corners of her eyes, slipping down her cheeks like glistening pearls.

"Tha… thank… thank you…" Her voice quivered with unrestrained happiness as she rubbed her teary eyes, her hands trembling slightly.

The four others in the valley stood frozen in mild astonishment. None of them had expected this reaction. To see her cry—not in sorrow, but in pure, unfiltered joy—left them momentarily speechless, an awkward silence settling between them.

Xiao Hua shifted his gaze toward Zi Yan. He immediately caught the flicker of concern in her amethyst eyes, her expression betraying an unfamiliar unease. She had grown close to Little Fairy Doctor, and yet, this was the second time she had seen her cry. No matter the reason, it was something she could never quite grow accustomed to.

"Zi Yan." Xiao Hua nudged her gently before leaning in to whisper, his voice low and steady. "Take her inside. Stay with her."

Zi Yan blinked before nodding. Without hesitation, she stepped forward and reached for Little Fairy Doctor, guiding her toward the wooden hut to help her regain her composure.

Xiao Hua watched their figures disappear beyond the door, his sharp gaze lingering for a moment before he exhaled quietly. Then, he turned toward his two elder sisters, his expression calm yet unreadable.

He smiled faintly and said, "I never would have expected Sister Azure to possess a Qi Method capable of fully controlling the Woeful Poison Body—using the Ghostly Poison Flame to both suppress and refine it, merging them into one…"

Lady Azure responded with a soft smile, her gaze calm yet knowing. "She's fortunate that you have the Ghostly Poison Flame. Without it, there was a high chance her Woeful Poison Body would have erupted long before she could reach Dou Zong…"

She knew it is related with the mysterious force behind him that even force him not to speak about them, so she is being tactful and not mentioned it.

'Still… I can't help but wonder about the true purpose of that mysterious existence within this child. No one would bring a foreign soul into the Great Thousand World—or any galaxy, for that matter—without a reason…'

Lady Azure mused inwardly, her gaze flickering with intrigue. Unlike Xiao Yan, who was merely an outsider to this Dou Qi Continent, Xiao Hua was something altogether different. His very essence felt as though it hailed from another universe entirely…

The corner of her lips curled into an amused smirk. The unknown—so vast, so unfathomable—both terrified and exhilarated her. Whether it was a blessing or a disaster remained uncertain. But one thing was clear… she would not rest until she unraveled this mystery.
