"Everyone out of the car! Move!"

The armed men swiftly obeyed, exiting the vehicle and cautiously advancing into the dense, primeval forest with weapons at the ready.

The captain of Team One—a seasoned Asian mercenary—checked the tracking watch on his wrist.

It showed they were getting closer to the location of the two Indominus rex.

500 meters... 300 meters... 100 meters...

Soon, the group crossed a shallow, gurgling stream. The captain saw that his current location overlapped with the one on his tracker.

But there was no sign of the Indominus rex.

The heat detector also showed nothing unusual.

Strange. Could the watch's GPS be malfunctioning?

He frowned. Then something caught his eye. He raised a fist, signaling his team to halt.

In his field of vision, two grayish-white objects appeared on the forest floor.

At first glance, they looked like stones, but on closer inspection, they were slabs of flesh, covered in pale, scaly skin.

He crouched and picked one up. The blood was still wet.

When he turned the chunk over, he saw an RFID chip embedded inside, blinking faintly.

The other chunk was the same.

"What... is that?"

In the Jurassic World control room, Masrani leaned forward, confusion in his voice as he stared at the live drone footage.

Claire's face went pale.

"Those are the tracking chips… the ones implanted in the Indominus rex. They—they tore them out?"

She was stunned. How did they even know about the chips?

Did they understand they were being tracked?!

Drip.

A single drop of blood landed on the captain's wrist in the forest. He froze.

He looked up. The leaves above were streaked with fresh blood.

The trees rustled, despite no wind.

Then, from the dense canopy, a massive, reptilian head slowly emerged, staring down at him.

A towering, muscular body followed it.

The creature's scales shifted from a camouflaged green back to their natural gray-white.

Surprised? Caught off guard?

Jack glared down at the humans, his red, vertical pupils glowing coldly.

"Oh my god... It can camouflage!?" the captain gasped, overwhelmed.

The Indominus rex had blended perfectly with its environment.

Despite its massive size, they hadn't noticed it, not even with their advanced sensors.

It hadn't just hidden in plain sight—it had disappeared. Even the infrared scanners had detected nothing.

Was this thing even a dinosaur?

"Ah—!"

Before the captain could react further, Jack lunged.

His powerful jaws snapped shut on the captain's upper body, biting clean through.

Bone cracked. Blood sprayed. The forest stream below turned crimson.

[You hunted a human and gained 3 gene points.]

Human prey yielded more gene points than most creatures.

Jack wasn't about to let that go to waste.

He had used the [Phantom Camouflage] from squid DNA and [Multi-Band Invisibility] from tree frog genes to vanish into the forest.

Then, using the removed tracking chips as bait, he lured his prey in.

It worked perfectly.

Now, it was time for the real hunt to begin.

"Beep!"

Back in the control room, the captain's vitals flatlined—just a solid line across the monitor.

Masrani, Claire, and the entire operations team stared at the screen in stunned silence.

On the ground, in the heart of the forest, the nightmare had only just begun.

"Open fire! Open fire!!"

The other armed personnel were stunned by Jack's sudden appearance, but their training kicked in fast.

Without hesitation, they raised their stun rifles and opened fire.

These guns didn't shoot bullets but electrified darts—designed to paralyze the muscles and nerves of human targets, rendering them immobile in seconds.

However, when the darts struck Jack, they had almost no effect.

The electric shock barely caused a twitch in his powerful muscles—more like a mild itch than a threat.

"Roar!!"

Unfazed, Jack charged toward the group like a battering ram, a monstrous force barreling through fragile human obstacles.

Bang—!

Several soldiers who couldn't dodge in time were launched into the air, each flying in a different arc like ragdolls.

They crashed to the ground more than ten meters away.

Their injuries were catastrophic—shattered bones, ruptured organs.

They lay motionless in growing pools of blood, already gone.

Shhh!!

Every part of Jack's body was a lethal weapon. His massive jaws tore through one soldier like a meat grinder, splitting him in half easily.

His claws—razor-sharp and as deadly as a reaper's scythe—slashed through others, impaling them like skewers.

Even a casual step or flick of his thick, powerful tail could crush a man to death.

The stun guns, net launchers, and rubber bullets the team carried were useless, barely scratching his hide.

In less than five minutes, nearly all of the dozen armed personnel were dead.

The forest clearing was soaked in thick, red plasma.

Limbs, torsos, and mangled remains floated in the crimson stream, the air heavy with the stench of blood and gunpowder.

"Ahhh!!!"

The last remaining soldier, overwhelmed with fear, threw down his weapon and turned to flee.

"Roar!!"

But before he could take more than a few steps, another figure appeared—smaller, but no less terrifying.

A female Indominus rex stepped into view.

Her bloody jaws opened wide as she lunged forward. The man didn't even have time to scream before everything went black.

Gray licked the blood from her lips, savoring the flavor—but honestly, she still preferred pork or beef.

These humans were tough and sinewy.

Still, food was food.

Jack, meanwhile, wasn't concerned with taste.

He had his own goals.

After wiping out this group—and with the workers he'd previously hunted—his gene point total had surpassed 50.

He chose not to spend them yet. He had other plans.

Beep!Beep!Beep!

Back in the control room, one by one, the vital signs of every armed team member flatlined.

The heart monitor screens turned to straight lines, and silence gripped the room like a vice.

No one spoke.

All of them... were dead. The entire Asset Control Team One had been slaughtered—like vegetables on a chopping block.

"W-what do we do now?"

A staffer finally broke the silence, his voice barely above a whisper.

Claire exhaled shakily. The situation had spiraled beyond anything she could control.

"Shut down all access to the northern area of Jurassic World. Evacuate every tourist—immediately."

There was no other option. If they didn't move fast, hundreds of guests would become food for the two rogue Indominus rex.

"What about them?" someone asked.

"We've lost their signals."

Claire looked helplessly toward her boss.

Masrani's expression hardened.

"Deploy Asset Control Team Two. Give them live ammunition. Search the entire park. If they find either, Indominus rex—terminate on sight."

The decision was painful. But there was no other way.

The park's most valuable assets were now its biggest threat.

And if they weren't stopped, the consequences would be far worse than a few lives lost.

They had to be eliminated before Jurassic World fell into chaos.
