I tried to stand up but i can't,
My body was too weak, it hurts everywhere, it was already too strange i was still alive,
But i realized, where was that boy who saved me?
I looked around in search of him,but i saw no one.
After a few minutes, i stand up with all my strength.
And now, i have two choice,
Should i jump back to the river or go into the forest?
But, some thoughts came into my mind,
That i don't wanna spend any time there again,
So i turn and wandered inside the thick forest
I didn't know what was i even looking for,
I just walk and walk, it might be better than returning to the village.
My body was still hurting, every parts pf my body felt like it was burning,
My one and only clothes were ripped and all wet,
I simply walk towards the forest , my legs won't be able to go any further, but i pushed myself to my limits,and continues walking,
After i walk pass many big trees,
I saw a man kneeling beside some woman ,
No, he wasn't simply kneeling.
He was devouring her, he noticed me but was busy eating his prey,
I stand still and looked at the man, he might be 3years older than me, maybe .
He turn to me, his eyes were red, crimson red,
Bloods were coming out from his mouth, i just keep on staring, even if i want to run, my body can't.
I was still standing, but suddenly!!
Does he have legs? He was standing over there, but now he is standing in front of me ,
Before i even know it.
He grabbed my neck and tried to bite me, but stopped ,
" Aren't you afraid, human? "
I stay silent
"Are you deaf? " He asked me
"No",
"Then answer me, aren't you afraid? ",
"Would you kill me? " , i questioned him back,
He looked at my eyes, and stand silent for a moment ,and he looked like he realize something,and he said,
"If that is your wish, i will not kill you"
"Then you, must be afraid",
He gets angry, choked me and lifted me in the air .
"This will be it" i thought.
But i still can't smile, i can't breathe,it's not easy to die,
It's painful , but for a moment, i think it felt good , the thought of leaving this world makes death seemed so beautiful.
But he suddenly dropped me to the ground ,
I was gasping for air, i don't know why he didn't kill me, but he did drink my blood from my injured arm. It hurts alot! , i watched as he drank and he didn't even spill any drop.
"Why am i not dead? " I asked.
"Are you a human? "
"As you see, i am"
He keep staring at me , and at last, he pats my head,
And calls me "Dorothy" and then leave , with a sad and confusing eyes,
Then i heard some footsteps.
I turned and i saw that same little boy with his doll in his hands.
"Hello, Dorothy" he smiled. He put his doll beside him, tile my head gently and drink my blood from my neck,
I didn't resist, i was trying to fulfill my promise,
But my neck didn't even hurt, how on earth will i die?
Fair and pale he is, he was so adorable , he looks like a he's my age,
His eyes were red, my blood came out from the side of his mouth.
He held both my hands, and smiled warmly, it's as if ... I don't know, i can't put it out in words,
He was warm and something about him feels familiar ,he grabbed his doll and then hugged me, so warm...
This boy, why does his hugs feels so good?
I hugged him back, and tears fall from my eyes.
I don't know why, but for a moment ,we hugged each other, silently as though we were embracing each other.
After a long warm hug, he held both my hands,
And said "let's go home",
I said nothing because i was too confused, he held my hand and leads me deeper into the woods,
He was so warm as if we had connection,
I wonder why??
As we reached there,
The gates were opening by themselves,
Cold winds were blowing , and i heard someone whispering,
And a voice was calling me;
"Dorothy.... Dorothy..... Dorothy"
Mother never gave me a name, and why do i keep hearing that name,
Dorothy? Is that my name?
But i still didn't ask anything,we entered into the big mansion, the big black door opened itself, could this possibly be real??, everything in here is new to me.
He lead me inside, i heard a woman humming faintly as we got in, it was really enchanting,
I've never been in such a big house ,well, not even a small one,
As i was always living nowhere, barely alive.
In the living room,
There were 4 people, they were all vampires, i guess,
They're eyes were red,
They were all boys or maybe man? I don't know how old they might be.
"I brought Dorothy back" ,
The little boy said, still holding my hand,
He looked at me and smile ,
Everyone was staring at me, one of them even cried and they looked so happy to see me.
I saw the same man who was devouring a girl before,
He was also stunned, and whispers "i knew it".
He just stare at me,
They all were surprised and laugh happily,
they do looked like a family, a happy family.
Though there were no female present inside,
A man with kind eyes came forward.
"Welcome home,Dorothy, now, our family is back together", what are they talking about? I don't understand any of this,
"Family? What's that",
"Just stay with us forever, everything will be okay", he answered,
I find it hard to believe,
Not the fact that I'm inside a vampire's mansion
The fact that i was about to know what family is.
