Cassia's POV
He cleared his throat and that took me out of the trance. I felt embarrassed because he caught me staring at him intently. He told us to seat to the chairs in front of his table and we obliged. Then they began discussing about the project and I learnt that he wanted me to be in a commercial and some photoshoots for his telecommunication company. They discussed too about the fee and all but when Gina asked about the contract, he told her that he will arrange it as soon as possible. Gina became uneasy but she just agreed.
We were about to leave when he requested me to stay behind because he had something to discuss with me. Gina agreed reluctantly but she went ahead.
"What is it that we need to discuss sir?" I asked him politely when we were alone. I was slightly intimidated by him. Who wouldn't be? He was a very rich business man not to mention his looks.
"I have something to offer you Ms. Greene. I will proceed with the signing of contracts with your agency and the project will continue but I need you to do something for me" He said smirking. I suddenly felt my heart beat faster.
What did he mean by that? Don't tell me he wants me to be his sex slave?!
He stood from his seat and paced the floor slowly in front of me while his eyes were fixated on me.
"I will arrange the contract ASAP if you agree to be the mother of my child" He said with an expression I couldn't pin point. I gasped in shock of his bluntness. I stared at him like he'd gone crazy or something. Is this guy for real?!
"Excuse me?! You want to have a child with me, is that it?" He smirked again and then he put his hands inside his pocket.
"Yes" He answered like the thing he was offering me was normal as eating an ice cream during summer time.
I stood up in anger causing the chair to make a loud sound.
"What do you think of me, prostitute?! Sorry to tell you this but I am not some cheap slut! Bye Mr.
Dixon!" I said and was about to storm outside his office when he spoke.
"I am offering you a great deal Ms. Greene. I know you need the money since your mom is in the hospital" I gasped in shock of what he just said.
"How did you know about that?!" I asked him angrily that he laughed like a devil. A while ago he was so handsome in my eyes, now he seemed like he had grown fangs, horns and a tail.
"I know everything about you. You are 20 years old, you started modelling just a year ago, your father died when you just graduated high school, you stopped college even though you're smart because your mom got hospitalized and needed a heart transplant as soon as possible. You only had 1 boyfriend because you were so busy helping your mom to make ends meet" my mouth hang open as I was listening to him talking about me.
"How did you know so much about me?! This is the first time we met!" My fist tightened in anger while he was there standing in front of me smirking.
"We already met 3 months ago in your previous school you know. We didn't talk but I noticed you" He slowly approached me and then he made me look at him by placing his finger under my chin.
"Think about this carefully baby. This is a once in a lifetime offer. It will solve all your problems. If you agree to this, I will make sure that your mom will get operated as soon as possible and I will pay your hospital bill"
"Why me?" I asked in a barely audible voice while rubbing my fingers together.
"Because I want you" He said bluntly. I shook my head no and that made the smirk on his face disappear. His face contorted in anger.
"If you don't accept this, I will make sure that your agency will be closed in a week and no heart donor for your mom" I gritted my teeth in intense anger and before I could stop myself, I slapped him before walking out of his office. I didn't even notice that I was crying because of anger until I was inside my car.
The nerve of that man! So what if he is rich? That doesn't mean he can control everything.
He is a nasty devil and I don't want to see his handso--- no, devil face again! To think I even mistook him for-----
Axel's POV
I was left alone in my office, shocked, because of the slap I received from Cassia.
My jaw clenched in anger as I reached for the flower vase and throw it angrily on the floor. Damn!
You will never get away from me Cassia, I will make sure of that!
You're mine and I will do anything to make you mine again even if you end up hating me.
I ended up lying to her though. It was not 3 months ago when I first met her, it was actually 5 years ago when she was still 15 years old and I was 22.
5 years ago.... That was the lowest point of my life that all I wanted to do was die but then because we met and fall in love, I managed to overcome my depression.
The door suddenly opened and my secretary, Sam, peeked inside worriedly.
"Are you okay sir?" She asked me and came inside.
She eyed the vase which was now in thousands of pieces on the floor.
"Yes. Leave me for now. I want to be alone"
When she left me, I sat on my swivel chair but I wasn't in the mood for working. I leaned my head back at the back of my chair as the memories I have been keeping inside my heart came back to me.
