Noah took the situation calmly. He wouldn't have risked such a massive sum if he wasn't absolutely sure he could pass the verification. Why? Because he had already figured out how the Coins system operated—and how he operated differently within it.
In the system, there were two kinds of Coins:
- Verified Coins – the official, system-tracked amount. This is what the administrators recognize, what gets checked during high-level operations like trades, quests, and verifications.
- Effective (or Real) Coins – the operational balance used for most actions: upgrading stats, purchasing items, and triggering functions. For regular players, these two values were always the same.
But Noah wasn't a regular player.
Due to his glitch "infinite coins" cheat, the system had a flaw: whenever Coins were supposed to be deducted, instead of decreasing, the Effective Coins value increased by that amount. Meanwhile, the Verified Coin value remained unchanged, isolated, unaffected by purchases.
Essentially, every time Noah spent coins, he was duplicating value — Verified Coins stayed the same, and the Effective Coins rose. So, when faced with a verification that required proof of valid funds, the system checked his Verified Coins. If his Effective Coin balance ever became suspiciously high or flagged for inspection, the system would subtract only the glitched excess until the Effective amount realigned with the Verified value.
In other words: He could buy anything he wanted. If verification occurred, the system would simply "correct" his Effective Coins by burning away the excess—but his Verified Coins, the ones that mattered for checks, were always safe.
That was the loophole. That was his cheat. And now that he understood the rules, he could start bending them at will.
Of course, it wasn't this simple. Additional penalties may be added if such a verification failed but he just had to always know what his verified amount is and he would be fine.

"Brody, how much do you know about Monroe?"
"Hmm? This was sudden. I just know that he is personally weak but his bodyguards are extremely strong. I heard he has multiple A tier guards and can get S tier guard in more serious situations."
"I see. Do you by any chance know his class?"
"I think he is Crowd Control, but why do you ask? You can't possibly win against this guy, nor that you can get to him as well. And besides, we have more work to do here. That's not the end of the first island. Now that the corruption has been defeated, this city can't operate normally. We need to do something about it."
"Can you contact the rest of the members and ask them to do that?"
"What about us? What have you planned?"
"I just want to trample on a little ugly snake, just that."
"What?"
"Can you accompany me somewhere?"
「You used a Duel Request Ticket (A) and chose 1 accompanying entity. Choose an opponent. Your opponent will be able to choose 1 accompanying entity. 」
"Wait! How do you have this item….. Don't tell me you bought it?!"
[Choice: President Monroe from Second Tower Island – Cloudy Hill]
They were teleported on a battlefield. It was one of these medieval arenas, where people and bulls were trying to outsmart each other.
And there was President Monroe – a typical noble, his hairstyle was from a couple of centuries ago. He had an extremely angry expression on his face. No even angry, it was furious.
"A worthless scum like you dares to show themselves here?! In front of a president like me? I will seriously teach you. You will learn your place! I shall crumble you all! Why don't you taste S tier as a final gift from me?"
"And you think that the system will allow you this? Am I even close to S tier? You said it yourself – I'm a weakling! Haha."
In normal circumstances, Noah would have been immediately wiped out by S tier guard, but he knew that such strength difference would not be allowed. Brody was a lot weaker than him, so, the accompanying guard could at most be B tier.
[The accompanying entity of Entity: Monroe can have a maximum Rank tier: A+]
Noah got a little surprised, but this wasn't something that he hadn't predicted. In fact, this proved to be a worthy fight – he gained new information here.
"Brody, I want you to use all of your strength for a shield for Monroe, do you understand?"
"Wait, wait, why?"
"Just do it. Here, I will transfer you some coins, so you can buy yourself potions."
Based on the empty shells in The Shop, Noah had already guessed some of the items. He knew there had to be Magic restore potions and Luck Potions at the least. He could somewhat guess their price too so he transferred a certain amount of coins to Brody. With this and a few additional clicks, the preparations for the battle were done.
President Monroe had decided to go with a damage dealer guard, a close range at that. 'He indeed did his homework, this snake haha.'
Noah dashed forward, in an instant, he had passed half of the distance. A shield had already appeared around the main enemy. The guard's fists had a fire aura formed around them and were ready to strike. Noah disappeared for a brief moment, after which, he was already behind the guard and blood filled the air from a couple new wounds. Noah also received some burns, which were neutralized by a potion he asked for Brody to buy for him – a tank potion.
The guard seemed worried just for a moment but then his composure was suddenly back, even a smile appeared on his face. This confirmed it.
From the start Noah knew something was off with this guard. He was too weak to be A+ tier. He analyzed a couple of routes the battle could go towards. This smile confirmed one of the possibilities. 'You filthy, little snake.'
"Don't you think it's a little unfair to go 3 against 1?"
The guard's jaw dropped. He couldn't grasp how Noah, a weakling, could figure this out. 2 shadows appeared next to the guard. A tall, big man and a shorter, slim man.
[Silver membership conditions met]
'Now let's begin the real hunt!'
Noah just needed a couple of seconds. He had a thought which had been confirmed at the beginning of the battle. He dashed with a dagger in his hand and swiftly placed a couple of hits on both shadows. Their auras began breaking as they started to disappear.

Noah dashed forward towards the guard and slammed his fist, creating an enormous explosion, causing his enemy to fly backwards. While still in the air, Noah jumped and landed on the still falling enemy, kicking it in the process, causing an explosion on the ground. Why his enemy was still rolling on the ground he slammed it with another punch straight from landing from the air causing sense-disturbing shockwaves through the battlefield. Another kick with both of his legs caused a loud breaking sound and dust all over the battlefield.
"Brody, make sure to hold on with these shields. I don't want to defeat this snake so easily."
