Prologue: Scars of the Past
The kingdom was a place of shadows and secrets. Among its many alleys and silent corners lived Kenzaki with his mother in a tiny, worn-down hut. They were poor, but they held onto their dignity tightly.
Kenzaki's father, once a noble prince, had been accused of treason by the king himself. In a brutal public spectacle, he was dragged before the crowd and left to die, crucified alive as a traitor. His name was erased, his honor shattered.
His mother, a beautiful and humble palace worker, was envied by many. Her kindness and grace were weapons that stirred jealousy among the other servants. One day, jealous whispers turned into cruel plans.
False accusations of theft were planted against her. Before Kenzaki's eyes, the palace workers—driven by hatred—assaulted her mercilessly. Kenzaki watched helplessly as his world crumbled, unable to protect the one person who mattered most.
After that night, his mother was executed in the same merciless way—left to die on the very cross where his father had perished.
Kenzaki was arrested and thrown into a dark prison. Years passed in chains and pain. The world outside forgot his name.
Five years later, the king unexpectedly released him—but the nightmare was far from over. Secret soldiers were sent after him, hunting him like a beast.
