The night was quiet in the small village of Elora. The stars above were bright, like tiny diamonds in the sky. Twelve-year-old Lian loved looking at the stars. Every night, he sat on the hill near his house with a small telescope. He dreamed about space, planets, and what might live far away.
One night, as Lian looked through his telescope, he saw something strange. A bright light moved slowly across the sky. It wasn't like a plane or a shooting star. It was slower, brighter, and it changed color—blue, then green, then red.
