Chapter 1 - Only for you

The Endless Beginning

Mugilan was just another ordinary student. After three years in an engineering college, he dropped out — not because he wasn't capable, but because his heart wasn't in it. While society saw it as failure, to him, it was a silent escape. Life paused. Friends drifted, relatives judged, and emptiness settled in.

In the middle of that stillness, a sudden 'Hi' lit up his Snapchat screen.

"Hi..."

He hesitated. Then replied, "Hi... who's this?"

Her name was Yazhini. Simple. Warm. Genuine. What began as a casual chat slowly grew into a bond. For Mugilan, she became the only spark in a world that seemed to have gone dark.

Chapter 2 - The Scent of First Love

Their chats became daily rituals. WhatsApp replaced Snapchat. Her words held light, her thoughts were dreams. Slowly, unknowingly, Mugilan fell for her.

He knew what he felt wasn't just friendship. But he also feared losing the only person he truly connected with.

One night, he gathered courage and confessed: "Yazhi... I love you. I didn't mean to ruin this bond. I just couldn't hide it anymore."

She didn't panic. She just replied gently: "Mugi... you're a wonderful friend. But love? I've never seen us that way."

His heart cracked. But he smiled, said he understood, and stayed. Because even if she couldn't be his love, he wanted her to stay in his life.

Chapter 3 - Voices and Vibrations

Days moved on. From messages to voice calls. Instagram DMs. Then, one day, she called. It was his first time hearing her voice — he trembled. It was magic.

She teased him, playfully mocked him. But he didn't mind. Her voice alone could calm every storm inside him.

They shared everything — secrets, dreams, pain. They fought sometimes. Went days, even weeks without speaking. But he always apologized. And she would say, "You don't need to say sorry to me."

He thought: maybe... just maybe, she's waiting too.

Chapter 4 - Shadows of Hope

Once, he didn't message her for a whole month. She got upset, but when they spoke again, her care was still there.

She tested it again — this time, he sent one last message: "I've cried enough for you. So please, don't disturb me again."

He thought she was joking. But when Yazhini didn't return,Mugilan broke. He cried — not because of love lost, but because the silence was too loud. He missed him. He longed for the one person who always came back no matter what.

Shee stayed silent. But inside,s he was falling apart.

Chapter 5 - Memories Where You're Not

Every day, he woke up with her memory. Slept with her thoughts. She stopped messaging. So did he.

He wondered: "Will you ever love me the way I loved you?"

If she did — that would be a beautiful ending. If she didn't — that didn't make his love any less real.

Because what he felt was true. Pure. His.

The End

"Even if you're not beside me, you're within me... now, always, until the end of my breath."

Love isn't always about being together. Sometimes, it's about never letting go in your heart.

Mugilan's one-sided love. Yazhini's silent memory. A story that never needed a happy ending to be beautiful.
