Training Grounds on the other side – HOPE Underground Haven
The sparring chamber was vast and reinforced designed for powers to clash without mercy. Walls lined with impact-absorbing panels. Overhead lights cast a sterile glow.
But the air inside was anything but calm.
One side bloomed with life lush green vines curled like snakes, breathing, pulsing.
The other side froze mist curling from the ground, frost climbing steel pillars, tiny snowflakes drifting from nowhere.
Sara Debeau vs. Lily Croft.
Nature vs. Winter.
Lily stood still, arms at her sides, her breath visibly misting in front of her face.
"You sure about this?" she asked coolly.
"You tend to cry when I win."
Sara scoffed, snapping her fingers as vines sprouted from beneath her feet.
"You never won. I just let you live with the fantasy."
Lily smirked.
"We'll see."
