Chapter 1 - PROLOGUE

Have you ever wondered what came before the beginning—or what lies beyond the end?

Existence has risen and crumbled, over and over, trapped in an eternal cycle.A loop repeating itself through countless eternities.

But if all is truly endless… where did it start?

In the beginning, there was only darkness. So I created light—just to see what lay beyond it.Yet even with light, the darkness remained.

I waited.

I waited through ages that had no name, no shape. Eternities passed like breath, and still—nothing.

Until one day, the light began to expand.

It was at that moment that time was born. With time came light and darkness… and eventually, so much more.

As time flowed, that flicker of light gave birth to existence.

And with existence came others—beings like me, yet not quite the same. They called themselves Celestials starsSome were born of light. Others, of shadow. Some were remnants of dead universes. And some were once mortal, but clawed their way beyond mortal limits.

I often wondered… was I one of them?

The Celestials called me The Divine Star.

Perhaps I am a Celestial. And yet, I am not. They were born from something.I was not born at all. I came from nothing.I don't know if I was created, if I awoke, or if I simply always existed.

Even now, my own origin remains a mystery to me.

I have watched existence flourish and collapse an infinite number of times. Each time, the cycle restarts. An endless loop.

Eventually, the Celestials grew bored. They began to play games—with mortals as their pawns.Fights. Bloodshed. Power exchanged like currency.

They feared me—not because I threatened them, but because I never acted.It wasn't due to restraint.It wasn't habit.And it wasn't weakness.

I simply never did anything…Except begin the cycle.

But in their cruel games, I noticed a species. A strange one. They called themselves humans.

Unlike others, they were defined by one boundless trait—Greed.

Insatiable, immeasurable greed.

They fought. They destroyed. They hated. And yet… they coexisted.

There was something about them—something impossible.Something that sparked a question in me:

What does it feel like… to be?To want?To end?
