Chapter 5: The Writer's Goodbye
The flight back to the Philippines was quiet, but Lili's heart screamed. No farewell from LinHo. No text. No call. Just silence.
As the plane soared through the clouds, she whispered to herself, "Maybe I was just a moment to him. But he became a story I'll never stop writing."
When she arrived in Baguio, the cold air didn't sting—it embraced her. Her room, filled with old notebooks and fan merch, welcomed her home like a lost daughter. She stared at the blank page on her laptop, then slowly began typing.
> "He was the chaos I didn't ask for... and the silence that broke me."
She poured her pain into her new fanfiction, inspired by the scandal that ended her job and her peace. But she didn't hold back. She wrote every truth wrapped in metaphors, every heartbreak disguised as plot twists.
Days turned to weeks. She stopped waiting. She wrote. And wrote.
Then one day, in a small café in Baguio where she always updated her blog, a young woman approached her.
"Are you... the one who wrote The Star I Loved in Silence?"
Lili froze. "Yes... why?"
"That story went viral in Korea. One of LinHo's staff read it—and showed it to him."
Lili's heart stopped. "What?"
"He read it. And he cried."
