Kenshi, notice her in the corner of his eye pointed his gun at her. But shack quickly drop Gomez and fired a miniature arrow. In his wrist.
This made kenshi to click his tongue as he dodge the small arrow, causing Tanya to successfully reach kenshi.
She then draw her two short blades and attack him. But kenshi wasn't intimidated as she met her with his blade.

Both blades collided as both fighters stared each other. Tanya gritted her teeth while kenshi look at her with cold gaze.
As the two take a short distance. Kenshi put his gun back in his waist and he attacks her with a short sword.
Tanya used her magic that coated the two swords making them sharper.
Kenshi who saw this, wave his sword and aim towards her neck. But Tanya block it. To her surprised. Kenshi manage to stab her side of her stomach, but she gritted her teeth and said.
"Dragon breath!"
When kenshi saw the fire that coming at her mouth. Kenshi didn't hesitate and throw a throwing knife at her mouth, causing her to stop releasing fire Breath.
Once kenshi succeed. He gave her a powerful kick to the stomach. What Tanya didn't realize, kenshi left the throwing blade in her stomach embedded deeper before throwing another blade.
Receiving a additional damage which also send her flying and being over thrown.
When shack saw her partner falling. Shack tries to catch her. But she isn't the only one that being fall.
Kenshi jump from the top and fired a couple of shots at Gomez.
Gomez who saw his action gritted his teeth. But he knew that didn't have a choice.
He couldn't lift his arms or even legs to run so decided to eat the unripe fruit of the death tree by using his body weight to shift the balance. Causing him to fall at the direction of the fruit.
Since he was near at the death tree. He decided to take a gamble as it was the only way to save his life.

Once Gomez was shot in the head. He swallowed the fruit and when he did. He's body suddenly changed.
This made kenshi to be surprised a little as he and Tanya falls, but shack manage to catch her while kenshi landed like it was nothing.

With the wave of his land, kenshi saw the larger version of Gomez, but more importantly. He wasn't the same as before.
His face was deformed and his body look like a muscular bodybuilder, except his hands. Which change into claws and his nails looks like sharp knives.
This appearance look like he was a large zombie in a zombie apocalypse movie. But kenshi sneered and said.
"No matter how ugly you are, you will die here."
Kenshi fired another shot at Gomez, but to his surprised. The bullets wasn't affected and shell said.
"Tsk, his skin became thicker kenshi. You're only best choice is the eyeballs or steal his source of power."
"Source of power, you mean....."
"Yes, steal that plant and if you can. Destroyed it."
As kenshi nodded. He said.
"Mystic smoke."
Boom!
Upon activating his skill, his body suddenly exploded like smoke. And Gomez said.
"Damn where are you!"
As he wave his large hand, Tanya replied.
"He's near the tree!"
When Gomez heard this, he quickly look at the tree and saw him holding the tree of death.
"You! Put it down!"
As he roar, kenshi took the tree with him and run but shack who wasn't injured thrown a boomerang at him.
Of course, kenshi saw the boomerang heading to his direction and quickly dodge it but his mask was hit damaging it, revealing the exposured left eye in his mask.
Before the boomerang returned to him. Kenshi quickly grab it and by throwing the tree he was holding in the air.
He then throw the boomerang at Gomez who was staring at the tree. Unlike the bullets. The large blade hit Gomez in the chest causing him to scream in pain.
"Dragon breath!"
As kenshi activate the same skill Tanya used And he burned the expose flesh causing Gomez to scream in pain even more.
kenshi, who was alerted thrown the throwing blade. Deflected the incoming arrows and caught the tree with his right hand.
"You won't get away!"
Tanya forcefully removed the blade in her stomach cast the lighting chain.
But kenshi, who doesn't holding a throwing knife right now, decided to throw the tree of death in his hand.
As the results, the lighting spell hit the tree of death causing it to howl in pain.
This made the undead starting to move, and kenshi quickly grab the tree and run straight at them.
"What are you going to do?"
At shack's words. Kenshi jump and step on Tanya's face as stepping stone to boost his jump.
With this, he skillfully jump from wall to wall and landed in the escape door. The undead who heard it's called chase after kenshi.
The undead completely ignore the three but Gomez who was already enrage shouted.
"You bastard!"

Both Tanya and shack was completely shock as Gomez starting to regenerate, what's more, the back of his body revealed a large set of wings.
This made Gomez to feel the pain on his back more but, his anger already when to roof and blindly chase kenshi.
Both shack and Tanya was left alone in the basement and Tanya said.
"Looks like our mission failed."
As shack nodded. He replied.
"What do we do? The mercenary guild won't pay us up."
"I know that!"
As she angerly stomp the floor, she pick the throwing knife in floor and angerly said.
"Next time we meet him again. I'll stab him with his own knife."
As she covered her wounded stomach. Shack only shook his head and carried Tanya.
"You're wounded, I'll carried you up."
At his words, Tanya blush but didn't disagreed and said.
"Thank you partner."
This made shack to smiled and replied.
"We are partners, that is what we do."
As the two gave a fist bump. Shack, who was carrying Tanya leave the underground facility.

Meanwhile, kenshi who was being chased by the undead horde tried to destroyed the tree. But the tree of death tougher than he thought.
"Shit! How do I kill this thing!"
As he tries to escape. The gangster saw the unknown enemy and didn't hesitate to attack him.
Kenshi, who annoyed, draw his pistol and fired at the gangsters.
They all just fell the moment the bullet hit their heads. And those who got lucky became disabled.
"Shell do you have an option?"
At his words, shell said.
"The best option we have was to used the holy magic. It didn't matter if it's a lower tier but judging from this city.
There is no way you can kill it even it used me to shoot that thing."
"What? You can't? Why?!"
At his desperate tone, shell answered lazily.
"Because both me and that tree are the same. We both used negative karma but luckily for you. That tree only used lower negative karma. Otherwise, even if you called a priest. You can't kill it."
"Dammit!"
As he said this, he was near at the end of the door and quickly said.
"So our only way is to blow up that bastard's eye where the brain is located right?"

As she was about to continued, he coldly replied.

Once kenshi was outside the building, many people saw him, broke the door and quickly turned left to run. Soon enough.
A horde of undead bust out the door causing panic at the sin city. What kenshi didn't know was shell was trying to say that they can quickly killed it with ordinary cheap made holy water, but he didn't let her finished and decided the hard way.
