Chapter 1 - capitulo 1

It was a rainy and cold night, an aroma of coffee adorned the atmosphere of a spacious room, a more than perfect place to read a little and calm the stress of everyday life.

A ball of blankets spread all over the bed covered the image of a girl with her eyes wide open while she was reading her fantasy novel, her eyes were slowly going through each word analyzing the content of the book until as if a click had sounded she reacted annoyed closing the book and getting up from the bed angry.

The anger would have continued but the cold floor touched her feet and she jumped back on the bed like a cat that fell into a pool, put on her slippers and went out to the living room with the book carelessly thrown on a small table.

-They weren't lying when they said it wasn't even worth downloading the story online.

in itself had nothing really interesting at first glance, the typical poor woman falls in love with engaged prince, things happen caused by the fiancee that in one way or another unites the protagonists even more, the love triangle arc with another prince or nobleman, the protagonist with a talent for magic etc.

The only way this story would be popular would be if it was some kind of visual novel and the entire budget of the story would have gone on the actors but since this was a book nothing could be salvaged other than the author who ended his career during its writing which made them collectible items rather than entertainment.

"Crystal flower" a convenient name for how fragile the protagonist was in most of the play until the part of punishing the villain that on the way to that goal ended with one of the few interesting characters of the play, the guardian of the duchess Artemisia in a way that is only could be described as a blatant insult.

Stabbed in the back during an attempt to give her mistress time to flee by one of the children she raised under her mantle, under the pretext of saving the honor of her "beloved mistress" but equally captured along with the other servants who were protected under the same mantle and executed.

I could only sigh to calm down and stop ranting, I directed my steps to the kitchen to prepare a small dinner to keep the diet and after eating I went back to my room sleeping but a leaking thought crossed my mind

-Miss Lilith asks me if I would still be so loyal if I knew that this was the cause of her future death.

That happened a week ago and now I'm stuck in the story where I'm just the extra that killed my favorite character.... I'm screwed

What should I do? This is wrong, very wrong, very wrong, my heart was pumping uncontrollably threatening to come out of my chest, the tears were accumulating in my eyes until they reached a sufficient quantity that they could no longer follow the balance around my eyes, I tried to wipe the tears trying to calm myself down, this was not the time to cry but to try to change what seemed to be written in stone.

-Why are you crying my child?

That voice instead of calming me down only made the burning in my chest intensify, I had never felt so much fear, the headache and my stuttering prevented me from speaking clearly.

- my girl, what is it that overwhelms you, it is not like you- she sat next to me while she rested one of her hands on my back- it is a request from the duchess, you know I must fulfill it.

I couldn't contain myself and hugged her tightly while I buried my face in her shoulder as if destiny itself wanted to take something from me, she was a little startled but after a few seconds she reciprocated the embrace giving me soft pats on my back.

-Just stay please -I stammered in a pitiful whisper.

-Another one of your nightmares, right?
