I make my way out of the shower , about to take my towel off when my attention is called to my window. I suddenly remember how I caught reed looking into my window last night.
I move swiftly to my window, locking it and stringing the curtains shut, not allowing even a ray of sunlight to peak in. Satisfied I move over to my closet and pull out a blue ripped jean and a light blue top. I check the time and immediately realize that Jason would be here any minute and it doesn't take more than a minute and I can already hear his loud horn banging against my eardrums, I put on my trainers, pick up my bag and rush down the stairs. I pick up a muffin and a bottle of water, kiss my mum on the cheek before I run out the door.
I am approaching the car and for a second I am stunned to see someone in the passenger's seat, My seat. But somehow I already know who it is. I try not to look disappointed and make my way to the back of the car. And as soon as I get into the car my nostrils are hit with the strong sweet smell of her perfume.
"Hey you guys" I say trying to sound normal. "Hey Kim" Jason says wiggling his eye brows at me. " Heyyyy" Daniella says, smiling at me.
" Hey love" I didn't know You would be riding with us this morning. I say trying to interrogate but also trying to sound casual.
" Samee, An obsessed puppy called me really early in the morning and told me , he was going to pick me up and that I should wait for him, and that's how I found my self here."
"Awww how cute" I say looking out the window and trying not to barf from their romantic gestures of love. I stay quiet through out our ride to school and in less than Twenty minutes we get to school.
The moment we pack I'm the first to get out of the car, I look back and see Jason about stepping out but just as he opened the door, he is pulled back in by Daniella and they waist no time to lock their lips together, grinning at one another.
I look away not wanting to see any more of whatever they are going to do, I look around the parking lot searching for a particular car and my eyes fall on the red mustang ,which assures me that Raven is in school.
I make my way through the school doors and immediately spot Raven standing by her locker which is right next to mine, I start making my way to her and she turns around spotting me and flashes me a smile.
" Hey Rav" I say but she doesn't say anything and just looks behind me and back at me. " What about Jason, don't tell me he didn't pick you up" She asks.
"Nope quite the opposite actually, he picked me up". I say.
She looks at me like I still have something to say." Okay so why isn't he here with you," She asks.
" He's a little occupied sucking face with Daniella, right now" I say.
" Damn , she's fast, sure it's not up to a minute You guys got here" She says.
" Well...she was already in the car, he actually picked her up this morning and then came over to get me" I say trying to look away Cuz I know she is starring at me with her mouth hanging open.
" What??? And you stayed in the car, that is so disrespectful, and for a girl he isn't even serious with." She says.
" Don't say that, serious or not, they are together so it's best to give a couple their own space." I say and immediately spot Jason and Daniella walking in. I look at Raven giving her a look to keep any comment she has to her self.
Before Jason and Daniella can get to Where we are, I am pulled away by Raven ,towards our class. I can hear Jason calling out behind us, but I am already to far away to respond and I wouldn't want to shout across the hall.
I get to my first class of the day and the teacher announces a pop quiz, I hear the whole class groan but not me, I'm always prepared and In about Ten minutes I'm done with my quiz . So I turn my paper over waiting for the bell to go off.
Five minutes later, Ms. Felicia walks in, whispering something in the teachers ear and as soon as she is out of the door, my teacher looks over to me. "Are you done with the quiz" She asks.
"Yes ma'am" , I say.
" Good make your way to the Principals office, She's waiting for you"
Confusion clouds my mind." Did I do something wrong." I ask.
"Not that I'm aware off" She says.
I can't help but be bordered, all my years in this school I had never gotten called to the principals office unless I go there my self.
I submit my quiz, and make my way towards the principals office, I'm about entering when I look through the glass frame on the door and I see a Jock.... well one of the guys on the football team sitting on the chair facing the principal.
I gently knock on the door. " Enter" The stern voice of the principal calls out.
"Ms. Perks, lovely you could join us after Thirty minutes I called for you, Please have a seat." She says, her sarcasm not going missed.
"I glance over at the boy next to me, but he doesn't look my way, he just looks pissed to be here.
" Ms. perks, this is Mr. David Stanley and he is a member of our high schools football club, I'm sure You have seen him around once or twice. And Mr. Stanley here is having trouble with his grades and is in need of a tutor, and you are the most suitable tutor I could think off, starting today you are to help him, and teach him in the best way you can. The end goal is to make sure he graduates this Senior year, and I'm sure with your help he can achieve that." I'm sure that was enough introduction, you both may leave my office." She says.
With everything she just said, I understood I was suppose to be his tutor, but I doubt it will go the way she thinks, because with how pissed he looks I don't think he is interested in learning anything from me.
" Um so how is this going to work??" He asks.
I stare at him in shock Because I didn't think he would be interested in learning shit. He looks at me staring and thinks of something before speaking up.
"Oh sorry" He says ,extending his hand towards me. "I'm David, and you are."
I look at his extended hand before returning the gesture and we shake hands." I'm Kim.....sorry Kimberly, you can call me Kimberly", I say trying not to stutter, cuz damn is he fine.!!
"Ok , Um nice to meet you, Kimberly, So would you prefer we have the lessons in class, my house or your house." He asks and I'm honestly shocked. I thought he was going to be rude and a total snub but he is quite the opposite and accompanied with a pretty face.
" School is a no, pretty sure non of us would want to stay over at school when classes are done. we can ration it , Some days we meet at your house and some days mine." I say and he nods.
" Ok can I have your phone", he asks and I'm taking aback, why would he want my phone, but I don't question him and just hand it over.
He taps on the screen for a few seconds and does the same on his phone before he hands it over to me." Ok that's my number and I guess this is yours" He say's and just then my phone vibrates, I look at the screen and back at him.
"Student"??
" Yeah Your the teacher and I'm your student" He says, a little grin on his face.
"Ok, so since it's the first day, we can meet at my house, I'd text you my address and I guess I'd See you later" He says before he walks away.
