Chapter 1 - Omni-Directional Warhammer

Chapter 1: Terror Unending

Running, I've been running for an hour or two. And this God Damned watch won't stop glowing yellow. Said watch was the Omnitrix. In my mind, the info said it was the Omnitrix 40k. It was built just for this universe. I slid into a burnt out bunker, My lungs were on fire. The entire planet is under siege from every known faction, Imperium? Check. Eldar? Check. Chaos? Check! Ork! Tau! Everyone?! Fucking Check. I looked around and saw a bunch of bodies around me.

Some human or Orks, others Tau. I'm not too proud to admit it, But I'm crying rivers of tears and snot. It's not a good look for anybody. I use my sleeve to get rid of as much snot as possible. I looked at the Watch, it was very different from the show's version. For one, it was Black and Gold. The Gold was the Digital Lines. Two it covered my entire forearm, my hand included. Third and not least it was still glowing yellow.

I can hear the explosions move off in the distance. I was about to pass out, when I heard footsteps. Two men came into the room and stopped for a second as they stared at me then proceeded to put their backs to each side of the door. They were guardsmen, the left one whispered at me. "You a civi?" I nodded, He nodded back and looked around. He spots something and points to it. I looked and it was Laz-Rifle. I stared dumbly for a second before reaching for it.

It had dents and blood splattered on it. I went to him, He pointed to his back. "Okay you ever fired a Flashlight?" I shook my head. "Okay on the left side is a nob. First setting is Single shot, Next is Multi-Shot and lastly it's Full Auto. Above the Nob is an ammo counter. Check it." I looked and saw it was at 34%. "34%" I said quietly. "Damnit" Him and the other Guardsman check their AC. The other man spits on the ground, "Emperor's Piss, I'm at 44%, you?" The first Guard looks down in slight despair. "12%"

I had a terrible idea, "Um, which one of you is the best shot?" They looked at each other and the first man nodded. "I am why?" I then looked around and a lot of the weapons were damaged. "Let's give you the power-packs and give you the best chance to kill whatever is out there. While we search the bodies to give us an edge."

The Second Guard smirks, "Smart for a Civi huh Jared?" They were already moving, I gave Jared my rifle while I turned and looked around. I had to move bodies, I didn't try to hide my grimace. One body was that of a Commisar. He had a bolt pistol. From how light it was I could only assume it was empty. A rifle thrown past me was a Tau Rifle. I looked back at the guy. He continued to search, I on the other hand picked up the Alien rifle, It was surprising like the Laz-Rifle. Though the Weapon was clearly alien it had the same set up.

The only problem was the Ammo Counter. It was of course in an alien number system. I put it next to the door. Jared gave me an odd look. I found other weapons, some Imperium,Tau and an Ork Shoota. I knew that would work. "Hey Civi?" I turn to the other man. "Do you know how to use Xeno Tech?" He gave me a hard stare. I shook my head.

"I was thinking of just pointing and shooting. Right now it shouldn't matter what made it. Only that it keeps us alive." I try to sound calm, I don't think it worked. He frowns deeply and nods. "Okay Civi but if we get out of this I'm telling any living commander it's your fault." I nodded. We found Grenades and a couple of mines which Jared instantly turned on and threw them out into the hallway.

Most of the Grenades were only Frags, though a couple were Incendiaries. I gave those to the qualified Soldiers. The other Guard, crouch next to the entrance. He looked at me, "Name's Mason, you?" I sighed, "My name is Jack Lace. My friends called me Lacy." They both looked at me with shock. They began giggling like little girls. "At least we'll die with a smile." Mason chuckled, then immediately got serious. I pulled out the Tau rifle and aimed down the hallway.

Within a few minutes we heard the cackling of goblins.. Wait, Gretchen. Mason and Jared ready incendiaries. Seconds later we heard an explosion as one or more steps on the mines. First Jared throws his Grenade. We waited for the flash of fire, which from what I could tell caught others aflame. When the fire died down, we heard a squeaky roar. Which was the que for Mason to throw his Grenade at the Little Monsters. But unlike last time they ran through it. I froze up at that moment but something broke in me. 'Not Dying Here!' I pulled the trigger on the Alien Rifle, a brilliant blue light lanced out and cut through a lot of them. Meanwhile Jared and Mason were tossing every Grenade in between shots. Now the bodies were dropping and stacking. Slowing the bastards down, then we heard a proper roar. Or more of a Battle Cry.

WAAAAGH!

We could hear the thunderous stampede, We kept firing into the smoking hallway. I could already see the large hands pulling the dead Gretchen out of the pile. I heard a Bing from my arm. I looked at the Watch. I began to flip through aliens. A lot of the aliens from Ben 10 were already in their Ultimate Forms.

But I decided to go with a Classic, "IT'S HERO TIME!" With a roar, My skin turned into a Bluish-Green Crystal. My main body and legs had a deep rocky purple. There were gold digital lines throughout the Rocky bits. I charged forward roaring out my new name. "Diamondhead!" My hands lengthen into claws with the palms turning into serrated knives. I tore the Orks apart, I was a bloody blender. Their Shootas struck true but did nothing.

Soon there was enough of a pause that I stabbed the walls and created a barrier. I turn to see Mason and Jared staring at me with pure Hatred. With their rifles pointed at me. But they didn't fire, I think they were out. "I'll leave, Tell your people, That I'm not an enemy." I walked to the crystal and moved through it. I walked till I found an exit. I tapped the symbol and transformed back into me. I saw hundreds of bodies. I looked at the Watch then at the bodies.

"Omnitrix, scan all Humanoid bodies that match my proportions, then combine the best aspects of their armor into a single piece and then recreate it for me." Suddenly my body was covered in a Black and Gold armor. I checked the read out and found a Grav-Launcher to fly short distances, Magnetic boots and gloves, to cling to walls, a cloaking device and Energy shield. I then realized that the only weapon I had was the Ork Shoota that I kept. I toss that aside, "Omnitrix, scan all guardsmen and Tau weapons. Best aspects and make them foldable." Within a few seconds I got three weapons.

A rifle, pistol, and shotgun. I looked at their read out, and saw that the Rifle was able to switch between Assault and Sniper. While the Pistol was able to switch between SMG and Heavy Pistol. The shotgun had a mini-grenade thrower. Each was made with the same tech as the Laz-Rifle and the Tau Lance. They were able to hold a charge much better and they can recharge within a minute. However now that I had badass equipment, I need to get the flying fuck out of here.

I looked around with my HUD to find viable tech. I saw an unknown amount of bodies torn apart with weapons that shouldn't exist. I see a dozen or so burnt out wreaks. Most if not all in a strangely neat pile. I hear an explosion in the distance. I turn to see giant Mechs fighting each other. The VI in my suit tells me that they are hundreds of kilometers away. I see an Imperial one step forward. When it landed, I could feel the vibration. I ran to the largest pile of scrap and turned into Upgrade. He was different from the show. He/I was all sleek black and with orange digital lines.

When I merge with the scrap heap, I merge them and pull other piles in. Soon I was a large ball of mix technology. I then made a ship that screams GTFO energy. It was Star Trek's Delta Flyer. It had cloaking tech and a Trek style Warp Drive. I cloaked and headed to the edge of the system as quickly as possible. I also learn that space is fucking huge. I mean when you look up at the stars, you're like wow so big. But being out in the open flying away from the planet. It's terrifying.

I also have no idea where I'm going. I sent a scan out as I exited the star system. I now know that I'm in the north-eastern part of the galaxy. I then notice that I'm near a Tau Enclave, though the imperial data that, for some reason I have, tells me that it's a hostile Tau Enclave. I head towards there, they are probably not going to shoot at me when they see me. I unmerge into the middle of the ship and transform back. I look up at the clock and it'll be a whole month before I get there.

"Computer? How fast are we going?" I waited for a few moments, then I heard a Ding. "We are traveling at warp 4.7." Huh. "How fast can we go?" another few moments, Ding. We can safely go up to warp 8, however anything past 8.5 will put stress on the ship." I nodded, "Increase warp speed to Warp 5." I go to the crew quarters and start to change. Ding, "Warp 5 achieved, we will reach our destination in 2 weeks time." When I was naked, I got into the shower. I sat in there for what seemed like forever.

The shower turned off on its own. I got up and dried off, then I headed to bed. "Computer? Please dim the lights, and please warn me if we run into anything." The lights dim and I drift to sleep.

Day 1 of Travel: There wasn't anything to eat till I found out we had corpse starch, water, the Imperium equivalent of aged fireball, salt, pepper, and gram crackers. The last one was due to the fact that I had a few broken pieces in my pants. It comes out in a block shape.

Day 4 of Travel: I think I had depression before, but knowing that my soul can be eaten up by any number of monsters in the ether. Or the fact that I could turn into a monster. Bonus: The Guard has sleeping pills. I think a couple of these will help with the New Night Terrors.

Day 9 of Travel: I found out what Corpse starch tastes like. When you eat nothing but crackers and water your body forces you to find something else. So Good news is I'm not going to starve. Bad news is that I'm now a cannibal. I think I'm going to try the Fireball next.

Day 9 of Travel 3 hours later: FUCK YOU FUCK THIS FUCK ALL YA'LL FOR THROWING ME HERE. I THINK I SHOULD JUST START BAMBI ALL YOU. *Urghk* *thud*

Day 10 of Travel: Drink fireball when you won't go through a spiral.

Day 14 of Travel: I reach the edge of the Enclave. I'm going to send a ping requesting elysium.

After sending the ping it took an entire hour before I got a reply back. "State reason for Request?" I sigh, "Everywhere else is shit. I want a place to lay some roots. Maybe help out? I honestly don't know." It took a few minutes for them to reply. "Request Approved, Welcome to the Farsight Enclaves." Three hours later I was sitting in front of a blue grizzled alien with no nose. We eye each other for a few minutes. "Name, Former Rank, Serial Number, Abilities?" Surprisingly he doesn't sound as nasally as I thought he would. I take a breath before I go into everything.

"Jack "Lacy" Lace, No rank or Number. Thanks to this watch I am able to shapeshift into other aliens/xenos." He tapped at his pad thingy. "Name the Races that you can turn into." I rubbed my eyes. "Just to let you know that there are a bunch in here that are from a different universe." Arches a eyeridge, "We are aware of the Warp." I put my head on the table. "I have those too but the ones I'm talking about come from an alternate.. Uh timeline? I'm not sure how to explain it." He taps again, "Then name what you can." I nodded.

"Tau, Ork, Eldar, Hrud, Daemon Khorne, Slaanesh, Nurgle, Tzeetch. Kroot, Skaven? Astartes. And plenty more." He types again then puts the tablet down. "Are you willing to fight for the Greater Good of the Farsight Enclaves?" He stares at me knowing that he may have no choice but to send me on my way. "Can I have a bed somewhere? And Food?" He nods, "Okay but I need to rest a bit. And eat something that isn't processed person." He stood and motioned for me to follow. As he leads me down the hallway.

He pointed to a bed at the back, "That'll be your bed, the foot locker shall be assigned to you. You will be responsible for the sheets and pillows. You will have a Credit Score, to buy anything you need, such as Rations and other amenities." I walk over and put my helmet on the bed. I walk back to him, he turns and walks down the hallway again. Soon we were in a cafeteria full of the Farsight Tau. I didn't see any other humans. Though they didn't quiet down at my arrival, several of them gave me the side eye.

"This is where you will eat. Would certainly be better than your Imperium." We continued again to another large room with mats and what I could only tell is training equipment. "This is where you'll train. You'll come here after the morning feasts. You'll train for three hours with 15 minutes till the next training session."

This continued till we finally moved back towards the barracks. "You get to rest for the rest of the day. Remember to be up when the sound is rung." I nodded and walked back to my bed and looked into the footlocker to find a new skin suit and cloth uniform.

It had my name and new rank. Shas'La Gue'vesa Jack Lace. There is a patch underneath it that calls me a special unit. I take my armor off and begin to change. However the moment that I was naked was when multiple people began to filter in. I was about to panic when I realized that the Omnitrix can store and give me the whole outfit. I quickly scan and apply the outfit. It is a perfect fit. I felt a tap on my shoulder. It was a tall tau woman in blue robes.

"Greetings Gue'vesa Lace. I am a member of the Water caste, I am here to make sure you are aware of the positions and of the purpose of this enclave." I nodded, she sat on the bed next to mine and I sat down on mine. "First of all you need to be notified that the use of warp abilities is strictly prohibited." I looked at her with confusion. "What you did just now." I made an ah sound, "That wasn't a warp ability, it was due to the Omnitrix." I raised my watch up to her.

She peers at it for a brief moment, "I'll schedule a session to find out what exactly it can do. Next, the Morning Feast begins at the sound of an alarm. Right after you are to go to the training area to learn how to fight for the Greater Good." I can hear the capital letters. "Since you are a special unit for this enclave. You will not be assigned until we are sure you can be of use. On that note, you should be aware that the Farsight Enclaves have been abandoned by the greater tau empire." I stared at her blankly.

She nods, "Moving on to protocol, If someone is of higher rank you are beholden to them. Though if they are from another caste they can not command you. If we are attacked, someone of higher rank from another caste can be commanded by you even at your lowest rank." She reached into a bag that she had and pulled out a tiny booklet. "This has any and every rule that you'll need to study. Forgive the size, it was the only one we have for humans." She handed it to me and I opened it to find it was written in tiny letters. Like the kind I'll need a magnifying glass.

I handed it back to her. "My Watch can translate any language, I just need to scan the words first to compare it to my own." She nods, "I'll make sure you get the proper materials then. One last thing your ship shall be compounded till we are certain that you are able to use it for the Greater Good." She stood up and bowed slightly to me, "Good Tides be with you. For the Greater Good." I nod to her. As she walks away her retinue falls behind her. Soon I was all alone. I lay in my bed stressed out of my mind. The past few weeks are finally getting to me.

I pass out in seconds, my dreams are haunted by the things I killed and what I'll have to kill. I wake up to the sound of whistling. "Come on Recruit! Get Up!" I got up in a rush and stood at attention. I look around to find the person that woke me up. Then I looked down, Another Tau, bald with a couple of scars on their head. He was looking up at me with contempt. "Congratulations Recruit! You got up in record time! But don't feel too good, it is your only record!" I decided that I wasn't going to try to piss off this guy.

"I'll be your commanding officer and trainer for your stay here. Now to begin, you are going to run around this base five times. That means getting outside and then to start running. But don't take your sweet time to get there! We aren't the Water caste sailing into shore! Right!?" "SIR YES SIR!" Where the hell did that come from?! I haven't yelled that loudly since I was a teenager. He nods and points to the door. "You have 10 minutes to find the Exit. GO!" I headed to the door and I began looking for the exit. I landed in their hanger, I didn't get a chance to find one.

After a few minutes I came up with a rather Stupid Idea. Several water caste members were talking to the side. I walked up to them, "Excuse me, where is the exit to the facility?" One smiles at me, "Gavit loves that trick, It is next to the Barracks, I assume you went left instead of right." I bow to them, "May the Odds be ever in your Favor, for the Greater Good." They bowed back, "For the Greater Good." I then run back with two minutes to spare with the midget Tau smiling smugly. "How did you figure it out?"

I took a breath in and let it out, "I talk to a couple of water castes." He nods, "That is one of the lessons of the Greater Good. Even though we are divided by our castes, We are better together than alone." he turns and walks out the building. I followed, when we got out I saw the city or better to call it a Military Compound. I see various vessels hovering across the ground, some pulling carts, others heading out for patrol. When we stop just a few meters from the building, he turns and "GET READY RECRUIT!" I got ready to run then I had another stupid idea.

"GO!" He screamed then I ran. I lifted up the watch, "XLR8!" Like Upgrade my suit was completely black with an orange visor. Not only that, I knew that I was bigger than a normal Kineceleran. I was a bit bulker then normal but built very lean. As I ran I saw that everything was at a stand still as I passed Gavit I saw he had a scanner out. It was a stop watch basically. It also shows how many times I passed him. By the next pass, It showed 12 passes, then 34, 50, 60, 100. I then stop to transform back.

When I did, his machine made a loud alarm sound. He looked at it in shock, then at me in pure destain. "You weren't supposed to use that?!" He smirks a second later. "But good on you for using the tools that you have." He walked up to me and punched me in the gut. "Gah!" When I got up he yelled again. "It's twenty laps now and this time don't use the fancy watch! Get running, NOW!" I ran and let me tell you, running after getting punched in the gut is not healthy. By the end of the twenty laps I fell on my face. He rolled me over with his foot.

"It took you 2 hours and 53 minutes to complete your run. Now head inside to shower and get something to eat." I sat up with some pain. "I'm guessing I missed Breakfast?" He arched a ridge. "If you mean this morning's feast, yes you did. Slept through it, hence why I was assigned to you." I got up and walked back to the barracks and showered, luckily it was empty and the hot water felt great till it turned cold the next second. It took all I had not to squeal out. The wall had a button on it. I pressed it and felt a glob of goo on my head. I scooped it up and smelled it. Soap?

After I showered I headed to the cafeteria, Surprisingly it was an Earth Caste member that was serving up food. "Eat up Gue'vesa, you need to be bigger than that if you want to ride with us." I nodded as he put a bunch of random bars and cantine of water onto a tray and handed it to me. I went to an empty table to eat. The bars have different tastes. It probably is nothing but vitamins and what not. The water was refreshing and with a slight mineral taste. Two Tau decided to sit across from me. They both have a mohawk, one was wavy the other was spiky.

We stared at each other for a good minute. The wavy hair tau spoke up, "Is it true that you Humans worship a corpse?" The spiky haired Tau grins, "Tal'No Don't ask such a creepy question. "Aw come Nal'To your curious too." I sighed, "I don't worship him, The 'God-Emperor of Mankind' is unfortunately still alive. He was there at the beginning of humanity and he'll be there at the end. For the past 10 thousand years, he has been fed, everyday, the souls of human psykers." I take another bite of a bar.

"He wanted an Empire that wasn't chained to superstitions and religions. Now he is worshiped by the worst of humanity. Many of his 'sons' turned against him while the loyalist slowly disappeared into the ether." I took another bite when I looked up I saw that the whole room was quietly watching me. I turned back to the ones sitting across from me. Tal'no spoke softly, "That's more information then we ever got out anyone." Nal'to spoke next, "Do you know more?"

I nodded slowly. For the next hour and a half, I told them i.e the whole cafeteria. Of everything I know about the Imperium, Making sure to tell them That what I know and what is real may be different. Turns out the whole room was filled with both water caste and fire caste intelligence workers. They haven't gotten any good intel since they've been cast off. They've been told to get every little bit of info from as possible not expecting me to share so much. Tal'no and Nal'to were code names. I don't know what their real name is.

I was being recorded, scanned and my words were being memorized. They asked about the guardsmen, I told them ones that I knew about. They asked about the space marines, I told them all that I knew but made it clear that I don't know how to make one. The navy, the vehicles, weapons and so much more. It spilled over to other races, Eldar both light and dark, Orks, Chaos, Necron and again so much more. Eventually they asked about themselves and I told them all that I knew when I was done. I took a large gulp of the water that had been refilled.

Tal'no stood up, "Is that all that you know." I nodded, She took a breath, "We currently have more information then we were prepared for. Everyone, head to your stations and get everything down into the system." She looks back at me. "I'm recommending you to get started on training your watch. We need to see how to best you as an asset." Everyone filed out of the room when it was emptied it was just me and Gavit at the entrance.

"Knew you were a problem the moment I saw you. You just started and already you managed to get us a victory for the Greater Good." He walked over and sat. He sighed and then the next thing we're doing is going over tactics and maneuvers. An hour later I got new orders. Gavit and I are going to the other side of the planet to test out my powers. I took my ship over there and Gavit taught me how to fly in the atmosphere. When we got there Gavit escorted me to the main courtyard. There an old tau was working on his power suit.

I then realized that this place was the Military compound. He turned to me and bowed. I bowed back to him. "You're the one that got my Intelligence officers in a frantic mood. Did you know that none of the Etherials had such information?" I shook my head, "Well we do now, I believe you said that you from an alternate timeline and all this either hasn't or won't happen. Correct?"

I nodded, "Yes sir." He gave a smile, normally the T'au had normal looking teeth, but he had huge chompers. "I am Shas'O Vior'la Shovah Kais Mont'yr or as other humans called me, Commander Farsight." I stood still then fell back and passed out.

I felt a sharp pain across my face, "OW Fuck!" I suddenly realized that I was surrounded by other humans. It was apparently uncommon for humans to pass out due to shock. They got me on my feet and I saw that I was in a new set of barracks. "Did you really pass out in front of the Commander? Did he scare you that badly?" Several of the Gue'vesa Humans jeered at me. "I uh, wasn't ready to meet Him so soon. I mean if you woke up one morning and the Emperor was just outside you'd pass out too."

The human chuckled, "Maybe but right now you're the one that passed out." They then led me outside, it wasn't the same Complex it was a shipyard. Several of the ships were torn or had pockmarks across the hauls. "Where are we?" A bald woman walks up next to me. She puts an arm around my shoulders, "This is a shipyard, where the ships come here to either be saved or scrapped. We are going to use your aliens to either fix them or use them to fix others."

I looked at her questioning, "Now?" She gave me the same look, "Can you handle it now?" I shrugged, and then began using various aliens. As every strength based alien I was made to move everything. Though they got a kick when I turned into Rath, his wrestler persona was funny to them. "Listen here, you broke Tau ship, You may have fought for the Greater Good but I'm the greatest good you're gonna get!" I then punched, kicked and headbutted ships across the yard. Then they tested my speedsters, first to see how fast they can get, then see how fast they can build or retrieve things.

They loved my Heatblast form, my 'face' had a pair of horns on it. Diamondhead was a fun one too, I gifted a lot of my new friends with diamond daggers. However the Gue'vesa'Ui, the Sergeant. Said That I shouldn't be giving them such things. Next was Upgrade, they were understandably wary of this one. Even if they didn't grow up in the imperium proper, they would've heard the stories of the Mecha Cult's ban on Ai. Though they were impressed with the ability to not only fix things but upgrade them.

One of the Humans Tau by the name Fex Ura asked how much can I spread over. I looked at the distance to the really big starships and said "A lot actually." Next, was Skaven, I was taller and made of lean muscles. With White fur and ruby eyes, I even had the speech pattern. Next was another alien from neither ben 10 or warhammer. It was ethereal from Xcom. In fact, there were aliens from Xcom. Four from Mass Effect and three from Star Wars. From Mass Effect were Krogan, Yagh, Asari and surprisingly Rachni.

From Star Wars, A sith pureblood, one of Yoda's race and a Celestial. Almost every Xcom race was in perfect form. Though I found turning into a reptile like the Vipers a major reality flip. I saw my new friends as food for later. Being a Krogan however felt more like a good fight for later. I got a superiority complex when I was a Yagh, And being an Asari was new for me too. I can certainly say that I now know that I like being a guy more. Plus I for some reason became somewhat haughty and flirty at the same time.

As for the Rachni I again became a woman but it was more alien then the Asari. Though I had a bit of a panic attack when I couldn't hear the mothers or sisters. The feeling faded but it stuck to me a bit. Even after I transformed back into a human. Next was the Warhammer aliens, I showed off my Tau first. Taller and a bit bulker then normal. I even had a standard Fire Caste armor on. Though the Helmet wasn't a part of it. Next was the Eldar and boy let me tell you about the son of a bitch.

Both light and dark versions were actually one. I could hear the whispers of the Warp and the call of the minds around me. I had long red hair, pale skin and emerald eyes. I thought I would get another superiority complex but I felt an intense shame. Then I felt the power, the Warp was vast yet tiny at the same time, It was at that moment I realized something. My Eldar form isn't tied to it, I was the only free Eldar… I transformed back. I had tears of joy, sadness and confusion.

I had a good cry, and ate some jerky. After about half an hour we went back to it. Turning into an Astartes was a fan-made moment of joy. Even if I had the initiates armor, though I wish it was more like the Blood Ravens then the dull gray that it was. I punch scraps and kick broken ships and vehicles. Without the cool weapons and better armor there is not much I could do. Our group's medic, Carin Luke, got a good scan of me. He said this could be used to make our own Tau Astartes. Next was Ork or as I found put a fucking Krork. I was 10 meters tall and full of piss and vinegar. I can feel several hearts in my chest, all beating like drums, like War drums.

I saw that I had the same outfit as Four-Arms. But like the Eldar, I wasn't tied to Gork and Mork. I found myself tearing into the various scraps and started to craft my new armor. I can sense my squad watching intently as my will alone melted the metal then cooled it. A full 3 hours passed as I now wear new armor with weapons. I finally tapped the Omnitrix and when I transformed I layed down, I was mentally exhausted. I didn't realize it but it was about time to head to the bunks.

I had to fly back to my bunk, luckily I had a smart autopilot. It landed and I went into the barracks. After a shower and a small meal, I went to bed. I woke up at the morning roll call. I made my bed and I put on my uniform. Though when I saw it on the side mirror with me in it. I realized it was a Junior officer uniform. I asked the watch to make this my standard armor Mk.1. I then added my modified pulse pistol and thanks to the Omnitrix I had a new powersaber. Who knew that asking for a scan of the imperium and Tau weapons would give me this thing.

I heard a whistle and stood in front of the bunk bed. Every tau had their Uniform, and Normally the humans would have a similar version. I think I was considered special due to my unique power. Gavit walks in and inspects each of us. When he got to me, he handed me a datapad. Thanks to the watch I can read the inscriptions.

'Gue'vesa Jack Lace, By the Orders of Commander Farsight, You are hereby ordered to experiment with all of your forms, at outpost 32-7. Your new squad will be there, alongside several squads of Earth, Air, Water and Fire Castes. Their Job is to test you as well. Please note that you will be training as well and living at Outpost 32-7. For the Greater Good."

Gavit pumps his chest with his fist and I do the same. I was then promptly kicked out of the barracks and headed to the Outpost. I found out that it wasn't an established base, it was a Barren Box Canyon. When I landed by the only other Tau ship, an extra large troop transport. I saw a number of Earth Caste mapping out the whole canyon. I was getting major Halo vibes already. Though if I'm being honest it looks like a combo of Blood Gulch from Halo Reach and Ragnarok from Halo 4. I can see several waterfalls and streams already.

The Sergeant from yesterday came up to my ship. I did the salute and he returned it. "Lace, Welcome to your new home. Outpost 32-7. The Earth Caste members are currently building the groundwork first. So I'm going ask you to keep yourself busy while they are doing that." I nodded, got a hold of a blank datapad and started to write down the aliens that I had with their 'hero' names. I started with the Ben 10 aliens. Then the 40k Aliens, Mass Effect, Star Wars, Xcom, and Few others from other universes that I didn't realize I had.

Like a Frost Demon from Dragon Ball, a Xenomorph, a symbiote from Marvel, a Martian from DC, a few more. It took me a few hours to come up with names for all the new ones. I think I did an okay job at it. When I look up I see that they are still setting up the ground works. I sighed, it has been three hours, I pocketed the pad and went to the back wall that we are setting up at. I then turn into Diamondhead. Several of the water and fire castes looked at me. I smirked at them, I then stabbed the rocky wall.

With a bit of will power I forced the Crystals to expand forward and a bit out. Suddenly, there is a tunnel that leads deep into the rock face. I stopped for a bit to just check my work, walking in I slowly smooth out the walls while creating a smooth walkway. When I was a quarter mile in the mountain, I then created a large dome of about a half a mile in diameter. I continued doing this till there were a dozen rooms, I transformed into Chromastone. With his power to also control crystals and use light, I made several crystals to absorb and emit light.

I made sure that the color matched the new place. When I was done, I walked out and saw The Sergeant looking at me a bit crossed and impressed. While behind him, the Earth Caste Builders were fuming. I quickly turned back and stood straight, The Sargeant shook his head. "It was taking them hours to make sure the earth was safe to build on and to live on. It took you an hour to make this place and another half hour to make glowing rocks."

I gulped nervously, he noticed. "Why are you worried, friend?" He turned to look at the others and realized something. "Oh they're not angry at you, they are angry at the fact they forgot you could do that. Would've saved them hours." One of them walked up and put both his fists on his chest in an X motion. "Greeting Lacer, I am Chief Low'vu I am to be the builder of this base. I would like to apologize for all of our time with the survey."

I smile and return his salute, "I am also sorry I shouldn't have at least asked someone if everyone knew what I could do." He nods and then salutes the sarge and walks off towards his group, they begin to nod and smile as they then rush into the new Crystal Base. Sarge then pointed to the outskirts of the Canyon. "There are several sources of water however this planet doesn't have a good source of clean water. I want you to find a way to bring the water closer to us and to purify it."

He then pointed at the two ships, "We also need an Air Depot, to build, repair, and store our vessels. After that come back here to see if I can give you something else to do." He went to the other fire members and began to give them commands. I see three waterfalls that are on the sides of the canyons. Two on the left and one right and they flow right out into the lake. I looked at the aliens in my list. Luckily I didn't have to keep turning the dial. I literally have a list from each universe. It can also tell time.

I turned back into Diamondhead and started to dam the intersection of the Rivers. I create a kind of bowl to hold the water. I transformed into Upgrade, I used myself to create a replicator like device and began to create a Filter and storage device. I then added another replicator with the sole purpose to create metal barrels for the pure water. Of course I suddenly realize that it'll keep on making them and putting them to the side. So I made an automated SCV, from Starcraft.

I made several of them, with the ability to not only gather things but to dig, build and locate things. After making them they began to gather the water barrels and set them near the Crystal Base. After that I went to work on the depots and I got to meet the Air Caste member. It was surprisingly a Kroot, It was chewing on something that looked like a Milk bone… I hope so, at least. It looked at me, My watch lights up and I suddenly have a new form. In an almost ashy voice, it asked "Stronger?" I nodded, it walked up to me and pats my stomach.

"Name Kai'rue Laws, I fast on foot and faster in ship. I like marrow and hearts. I am a good breeder for men." My watch gave me the proper response to that. I went to her and patted her head. "I am Jack Lace, I am a Shapesifter. I prefer meat and spices. I am unsure if I am a good breeder for women." She nodded and gestured to a chair on the side. She sat across from me, and patted her shoulder three times. "I have little meat, I have bugs. No Spice." I patted my right arm, "I have both marrow and heart, no eating."

She nodded in annoyance, "Yes yes, No eat friends." After a bit of talking I went out and started to build the Depot. As Upgrade I was able to make more Auto SCVs, with their help I was able to build more than just the Depot. I made a minor drydock, to build several of my dream ships. Of course I kinda let the work get away from me. I made a large replicator that could make anything that could be useful to us. I didn't realize it but I now made several dozen Auto SCVs. Some are digging into the canyon walls while the others are building all kinds of things.

By the time night had fallen, I had made every terran vehicle from Starcraft. I even made a few versions of Mass Effect and Halo vessels. I then transformed back into me and saw how dark it was. I went to the base where Sarge was waiting for me. "I thought I asked you to do two things?" I saluted him, "Sorry Sir!" He shook his head, "Head inside, Left is for women, right is for men." I nodded, "Thank you sir." I walked to the new barracks and saw that it was a combo room for both kitchen, shower and rooms.

Shower was in the back while technically the kitchen and barracks were in the same room. Though there were several of the Pure Water Barrels in here. I honestly didn't do as much work as my human self, so I didn't stink, I got out of my uniform and went to sleep. I woke up to the smell of cooked meat. I got up and saw a water caste member at the kitchen side of the Room. He turned his dreadlocks bouncing slightly. He was dark skinned but had an odd asian norse look.

He was as bleary eyed as I was, he nodded at me. "Morning Shifter, are you hungry for some charred meat?" I walked over to him and sat at the table and put down a plate of what looked like to be very thick slices of bacon. I would've thought it was jerky if it didn't look like it was just cooked. "By the way, my name is Marrick Jockey." I nod absentmindedly, "Jack Lace." He nods back.

He hands me a knife and..?! "Is that a fucking Spork?" He looked at it, and shrugged. "It saves both space and time to make them." I began eating, wishing we had salt and pepper. Don't get me wrong, bacon is bacon. But this is kind of bland. He made himself some and sat down with a plate and bottle. He took the lid off the bottle and began to shake it. With black and white powered. "What's that?" He looks at me weirdly, "Pepsal, you want some?" I push my plate to him, he shakes it on a piece and pushes the plate back.

I took the plate back and bit into the thick bacon, it was exactly salt and pepper. Though it seems that it's been grounded so well that it's powered now. "Where I'm from we call this salt and pepper. And they were normally separate." He nodded and handed me the shaker, I put it on the rest of my food. After a bit I was going to put my uniform on till Marrick stopped me, "We're an experimental unit, otherwise you wouldn't be able to sleep in the same room as me. However, since we are trying new things."

He hands me a uniform wrapped in cheap paper. I took it out and saw that it was orange with black accents. On the left breast was the Tau symbol and on the right was the Omnitrix symbol. I put it on and I found it was the casual version of this unit's official uniform. I went out of the Base and saw that we had other Tau units here picking up the Pure Waters in what I can only surmise as atmosphere cargo freighters. They are being jammed packed with the barrels.

Low'vu waves and runs up and smiles brightly. "Morning Jack, One of the water caste members sent a report about the Purifier. Thanks to that, other Earthers are building them into major rivers. I'm surprised you made them so simple yet so potent." I rubbed the back of my neck. "Yeah I kinda went into the zone there. Was that a problem here? I thought this was the Farsight Enclave? Why would you colonize a world with bad water on it?" He looks at me like I grew another head. "We aren't, we're in a newly conquered world in the name of the Greater Good. Farsight always leads the attack then heads off to either do it again or stays to fortify the planet." I decided to go back to bed.

Months Later

"LACE!" I woke up with a start as I fell from my desk chair. I looked up and saw Marrick looking annoyed. "I've been calling you for the last five minutes, why are you sleeping at your Workshop again?" I rubbed my eyes, "Sorry man, I was up all night studying the Dawn Blade." He looped his arm around mine and pulled me up. And dragged me outside, where he sat me on a matt. It was beginning to hit noon and the sun was bright out. "You shouldn't press yourself so hard Brother." He handed me a data pad and I began reading.

It's been several months since arriving here and I am still getting used to being on an alien world and dealing with aliens. This world is dubbed a tau word that I have trouble pronouncing, but the humans call it New Sights. The world has been attacked several times in that time frame. Mostly by no one that was important. None of the main factions that is. I managed to invent several useful weapons to help us. One thing was the DFG, Diamond Fragmentation Grenade. We had to use a powerful force field to stop them.

They come in several sizes, and the 'Diamonds' can come in several colors. I like the Rainbow one, I chuckle every time I use it. I even have a dust version, breathing that shit in will kill just about anyone. Next was the weapons from the Mass Effect series, then Fallout and so on. I even managed to make the Omni-tool. I thought that the Fire Caste were going to go crazy with them but surprisingly the Earth Caste were overjoyed to have them.

They love the portable scanners and radio aspect. Among other things, the biggest thing that I was commanded by Farsight himself was to create a Tau Astartes. A whole new caste sub-system was created for them. There are currently only 10 of them… of me, training and testing the new equipment and bodies. I knew training youths were only going to end with many deaths. So I came up with a way to speed up the process.

By cloning Champion and copying his/my mind onto the clones we will get the new Inferno Caste. While the Clones grew in the tank, the Water/Earth Castes scientist got to study how the organs grew and the Gene-seed changes them. Making the Armor was a lot more difficult than I thought it would be. I mean I knew it would be difficult but it took me three whole months to crack it. But combining Tau Tech with Astartes was a highlight of my new life here.

I even made a Bolt-Lancer, basically a fat lancer in the shape of a Bolter. The armor will have everything it'll need to fight off whatever comes their way. Need to Fly? A powerful Gravity Jump Pack is built into the power armor itself. Need to sneak around, the entire armor is made to absorb sound and cloak. The helmet has every type of visual enhancement that they'll need. Using quantum-entanglement, they will be able to communicate with us anywhere in the galaxy. Not in the Warp though, for obvious reasons.

I looked up from the pad and saw a number of other Clone subjects. The New Asari and Krogan are learning how to be them. Unlike Champion I could just clone young children to make a race. And thanks to Greymatter I could give Krogan a Female equivalent. Sole-Choir had to get the same Treatment as Champion but now we have several dozen colonies underneath the New Sights earth. I haven't made any of the Physic Aliens. Fearing what would happen if the Gods catch wind of them.

I made clones of most of the Ben 10 Aliens, though unsurprisingly The Rock types are unclonable, as well Heatblast. However aliens like Greymatter, Upgrade and Brainstorm were a Godsend to have around. Though most of them have been shipped across the Farsight Enclaves to help out where they can. Most of the Xcom races were cloned as well, Though I made Trogen to help out in the defense of this world. Arrogant bastard that he is.

I hear Marrick humming a tune, as he types equations. I got up and stretched, "Hey I'm going to get something to eat. Do you want anything?" Rubs the back of his neck, "How bout some of that Pop that you made the other week." I nodded and walked off to the Crystal Storage Area. Among the many creatures and tech that I help invent. I made food from my world, or at least my timeline, still not sure about that. I reached the door when the Horn sounded. I sigh deeply and pull up my armor. Battle again.

A pair of holographic wings appear and using my grav-pack I jump into the air. I fly to the combat station on top of the canyon lip. Landing and entering I made my way to the command room. Sarge and the other Fire caste members were called and answered numerous calls for a report. I got into my own chair and began to look for what was attacking us. I design a telescope that helps with inner-solar system observation. I found who it was and it sent a shiver down my spine when I saw it was an Eldar fleet which was being attacked by Chaos.

It was a Slaanesh fleet, I hate those fuckers. I felt a hand on my shoulder, I looked to see sarge. "We got a communication from Central. They say that the Eldar requisitioned the Farseer that sided with the us." Looked at him in surprise, "Then we need to get rid of the Chaos Fleet." He nods, heads to the back of the room and gets into a chair as a visor lays over his face. I hear confirmations from all stations. The chair was based on the control chair from Stargate. The planet itself had only a dozen. But it allows whoever gets into one control a swarm of missiles.

By swarm I mean thousands of missiles that are designed to obliterate the opposition. I even designed several chairs to control fighters and bombers. I watched the attack as the Eldar began their descent to the planet as their ship lost their engines. The missile swarm made their way to the chaos ships, however they launched a series of fighters..? My eyes widened, "Chaos fleet is launching ground forces!" I watch as the corrupted thunderhawks fly down to the planet.

Several of them are destroyed by the missile swarm. But most of them made it through and they appear to land in the desert of the planet. My com-watch alerts me to get going. I stood up and made my way out of the combat station. A Tau version of a thunderhawk lands in front of me and I transform into Champion. The doors opened and I walked into the see the other Tau Asartes. I nod at them and take up our spots. I check the coms to talk to our pilot Kai'rue hissed out a confirmation.

"We fly into battle to bloody ourselves. Let the enemy feel our fire in eternal inferno!" Kai'rue really has the battle speech down. The Inferno's have fought before but this will be the first time we fought Chaos. It only takes the ship several minutes to get to the battle, when the doors opened we were immediately peppered with bolter and regular auto-fire. We ran out with our Bolt-Lancer disintegrating the less fortunate. Our own energy shields holding up against the attack. I can hear a Chaos Marine, laughing maniacally. I turned to see a champion of Slaanesh running at us, with a wide eyed smile.

Inferno 3 turns and opens fire with the heavy lance-Bolter. Like in Fallout with the Heavy gatling laser, several dozen beams of blueish green light fire and hit the marine. His cursed armor held up for a couple minutes. Before he too turned to dust. I looked through my scanner to find another enemy before I saw a light of pink explode out of the ground. Several dozen minor demons of Slaanesh came through. Realizing that we will need heavier support I transformed into Trogen. I smiled with glee as my body was filled with power. But I didn't stop there, with all this power, I pushed my transformation to its limits.

I now shine in glittering Onyx, I then began to fire on the hoard of monsters. My own Ki blast was black with a purple center. When several of the pathetic monsters made their way to me, I brought out my own martial arts. Each of my superior blows sent any monster back to their hell. I felt danger behind me and I turned to see another 'champion' walking up to me. "Ah, to walk in the midst of glorious carnage."

I then realized he was a minor chaos lord, I sneered at him. "Fu hu hu hu, you don't get to be happy." Before he could talk I did my favorite move, Emperor's Death Beam. I riddled him with holes and he fell back smoking. "Fu hu hu, Pathetic." I turned to kill more when I heard him laughing. I turned back to see him getting back up. "I am blessed by the Prince! You bug bites are no match for me." I then fired more of my Ki blast making sure to keep my distance, I don't want his filth on me.

He fired his plasma pistol at me while trying to get close so he can use his corrupted chain-sword. I, using my genius, made sure that when he fired or swung he would kill his lowly servants. I flew up and saw that this incursion was barely contained. I then did an altered Death beam attack. I fired a huge vollie of Ki blasts to kill any and all enemies. It took a lot out of my form. I landed near the other infernos. They put up a defensive stance to protect me. Several of the Chaos marines rallied next to their Lord.

He laughs at me, "Ah it seems the little worm is all tuckered out. Shall we put him to bed?" I snarled and transformed again. I looked human, but I was tall gray skinned and the whites of my were black. My iris was a dull blue and I wore simple gray robes. I had become the Force-Bender. At that moment they charged and I reached out with the force. I could hear the thirsting monsters in the dark, so I pushed them away. I then close my hand into a fist and crush them in their armors. I wasn't good at that, as the lord used his broken arm to drag himself to us.

All the while he cackled through a broken jaw, I waved my hand down and caused him and the other corrupted to ignite in fire. As pure as I could make it, soon there would be nothing but ash. I turned back to the wounded as the fire caste members began triage. I spent several hours healing the less injured. The great thing about being a Celestial from Star Wars is the fact that healing someone is easy. They put the less fortunate in another room while the Medics and doctors work on them.

After I was done, I transformed back and walked out of the building and saw Sarge and an Eldar. She was talking about something about how it's impossible to fake one of her kind. I saluted my sergeant. "Lace this is Farseer Kalm Elm. She wishes to see your transformation." She sneered, "So a filthy Mon Keigh is your shapeshifter?" I turned to her, "Ma'am I don't care for your tone." Again she sneered, "You Mon Keigh think you know better than those who've been around for far longer than you. You may have tricked these tau but I know you're not the Farseer I've seen in my visions."

I transformed and turned into Free-Seer, I was a head taller then she was, and I wore a tau version of Eldar armor. She stepped back and started to stammer. I took that moment to speak my mind. "You Eldar think you are so high and mighty. That you know better, but you're the ones that gave birth to that thing." She recovers and tries not to look ashamed. I know she is, I feel it too. I then walked to the edge of the former battle zone. She followed and I sat on the ground cross legged. She sat on her knees, "Why have you come to find me?" She turns her head to me, "I saw a vision of a Tau Farseer saving my people. Not just the ones that are here now, but the whole of the Eldar race."

I nod for her to continue, "The vision showed me that the Eldar would make a final stand against She who thirst. But the Tau Farseer would be the deciding factor if we win or not. I couldn't see beyond that." I sighed, "I honestly don't know if I can help you. But I have ideas that may be put into use. It'll take some time to figure them out. Will you stay or head off?" looking off in the distance she too sighed. "My people knew this would be one way. But now that I've found you we must make due."

She stood up and I did too. "Our ship crashed into a small canyon. We will make our home there for now." She walks off to her small vessel that brought her here. Sarge came up to me, I transformed again. He raised an eyebrow, "A possible friend? Or Ally?" I shrugged, "She is hoping upon a hope. A frayed string that will either snap on her or help her out of the dark." he gives me another questioning look. I shake my head, "Sorry some of the aliens have an after effect."

He nods and gets a call, "Yes, I know why they are here, No don't interact with them. Yes, very good." He ends it, "I'm going to send you back. The local commander is asking you to speed up your Asartes project. He fears that now that the Eldar are here chaos or other enemies will see them and by extension us as a target." I saluted and made my way back to the shuttle, the other Tau Asartes have been waiting by the shuttle. Kai'rue was chewing on a milk bone(?) and when noticing me, she goes to the front to start the engine. The downside of a thunderhawk is that it's made for giants.

I went to the front with Kai'rue, we strap ourselves in and she takes off. "Good blood?" She asked while checking on her instruments, I made a click and hissed. "Not so, Chaos, very bad meat." She sends me the same click and hiss, "Them kill me great brothers. Glad they're dead." She reaches into a pouch and pulls out a jerky. "You blooded today, need to eat." I take and eat it, meanwhile she continues to take us home. She began to hum and tune though it sounds more whistling then humming.

We landed in a few minutes and went to our respective homes. I see Marrick and another water caste member. He saw me and met me halfway. "Jack, are you okay? I heard we had our first Chaos incursion." I nod and stifle a yawn, "I need to get to the lab, Commander Gora wants the Inferno Caste up and running sooner rather than later." He looked unsurprise at that. "I figured, Are you going to activate the Biotics or Psionics?"

I nodded, "I'm going to have to, if we don't have the fire power then we don't have a chance." I move to the lab, where there are a dozen clones of Champion. They must've finished during the night or morning. I walked to a small section of them. Four of them were labeled, two Biotics and two Psionics. The two Psionics had a special clone chamber to shield them from the Warp. From what I can tell Psionics and Psykers are similar but one came from pure genetics and the other from the soul.

Still I won't be taking any chances, Marrick was looking over some readings. I turned to him, "Hey sorry for not getting you the Pop. But you know, War doesn't wait." He waves me off, "Don't worry about it friend. We're in this together."

I then thought of something, "Hey what happened to Trogen? Why wasn't he around to help?" He shrugged, "Something about helping those 'knife-ears' land somewhat presentable." I nodded, wondering if the Eldar would appreciate the arrogance thrown back at them.

I then went to a chair that would download a copy of Champion's mindset. I transformed into Champion and sat into the chair. It takes only a few minutes for the Current scan to download. Afterward, it'll take another few minutes to settle in the New Infernos.

I stood and waited for it to complete. When it was done, the pod's lights flickered from a dull blue to a bright green. Soon they were drained of fluid and the clones wake up with barely a hint of 'sleep.' They stepped out of the pod and looked at me.

All of them walked to the large elevator and headed up to the gear room. I followed, when we got there they were getting geared up. However the Biotics got new armor, Light for a Marine armor but was laced up with biotic amps.

It was the same for the Psionic Marines, both should be able to do more with their powers. For instance, Biotics have the singularity and the Psionics have Rift. At full upgrade both are large enough to pull and rip apart the enemy, At least in game.

After they were suited we went to the Playground. Just a giant version of various training gear. One area of the Playground was the Holo-Warzone. With a 97.7% accuracy, we can safely train them against various enemies.

The Normal Marines went to train, as the new Standard Operating Procedure. However the special units went to the Holo-Warzone. Though both the side of the Biotics and psionics can do the same thing. I made two pairs for a reason, One to cause damage and one to help others.

For the Biotics one was a Nemesis and the other a Bastion. The Nemesis' role is to be the 'Psychotic Biotic' and the Bastion is able to create barriers and give those around them barriers to protect them.

The Psionics have the same way but slightly different style. One to Inspire and one to cause Terror. The psionic bastion sole purpose is to help those around them to keep fighting. While the Nemesis has the most offensive abilities.

But they don't just have that, The nemesis should be able to raise the Dead to fight for them. We can't really test that till we get them on the battlefield. I watch on as they test their abilities and new skills. Psionic Marines weapons will be different then the normal Marines.

A high powered Melta Lance Pistol with a power sword. I made the sword look like Skyrims Imperial steel sword. Only it was as tall as a regular person and half as wide. I always like that blade.

The Biotics will have the regular weapons but with a blue flame on their pauldron and Psionics will have a Purple one instead of the normal Red Flame. After about a half an hour I was called away to deal with the new residents.

On my way to the Tau-Hawk again. I turned back into the Free-Seer, once in the Hawk I sat next in my seat again. And Waited for Kei'rue came in and looked at me with a slight start she rolled eyes. "Shifter shouldn't look that bad, you smell bad too."

I leaned back into my seat and meditated. Kei'rue kept making comments on how I should look and smell. Saying that Her litter would be gagging by now. "Shifter need to look like you work. You won't find women if stay clean."

I chuckled and she looked at me again with a start. "You sound like glass." I shrugged, "Kei I doubt women would find me attractive due to the fact that I am a shapeshifter." She snorts, "What of Marrick?" I looked at her curiously, "Shifter and Marrick closer than most."

Again I shrugged, "He does have an appeal to him but I'm too focused on surviving this universe. I don't want to make people wait on the flag." She picks at her teeth, "What you mean on 'Wait on Flag?'" I sighed, "A loosely based term on a family waiting for their family members to come home from war only to get news that they have died. They are presented with a Flag."

She growls a bit, "Don't want a flag, Want a body." I nodded, "Indeed." We flew in silence till we got to the edge of the Canyon which had been fortified already. Before we landed Kei'rue made a circle passing to find the landing pad.

Only to find that there isn't one, I sighed, "Just land near the edge, I'll walk." She does so and we landed near one of the outposts that they've set up. As I got up and headed out Kei'rue called out, "Kick Feathers." I laughed.
