'Expulsion? I'll really be expelled?'
Revian understood what it meant if that evidence were to be validated as it'd been. There was no counter-testimony; he was fully cornered, and ever since he'd walked into the room, there was a pressure for his expulsion. This was it.
"Well, that's bad," Rivena sneered, her arms crossed and brows furrowed. There'd been little contempt in her expression, yet anyone could've caught the worry peeking through her eyes.
Meanwhile, there was a slight thumping creeping amongst Revian's hearing. For a second, he turned to search for the origin, but as he felt his chest rise and fall with exaggerated flair, his face turned blush.
His heart's light pattering turned more violent with its assail, ramming into his ribcage and stealing him of breath. His mind rushed from calm to frantic, all thought lost behind the burning flame crisping his sternum.
