Chapter 10 - 509

Uuuuuung!

The first person to arrive at the hill where Raon Zieghart, Orgoth, and the demonized humans of the Black Tower disappeared was Merlin.

Ignoring defense, she focused solely on teleportation magic, and her breath was caught in her throat as she scanned the hill with her reddened eyes.

'They're gone....'

The presence of Raon, which had been felt just a moment ago, had completely vanished.

'What happened?'

She knew that large-scale teleportation magic had been cast here. Judging by the flow of mana, it seemed like Archmage Chamber's magic, but it was probably Raon who activated it.

However, he hadn't left with the Light Wind division but had stayed here. She thought she only needed to break the crude barrier of blood, but just now, even the traces of the barrier had completely disappeared.

She couldn't grasp what was happening.

Kugugugu!

Merlin scattered mana in all directions. She tried to find the gap in the barrier where Raon and Orgoth had entered, but she felt nothing.

'Is this possible?'

Unless a new barrier was created, it was unheard of to perfectly seal a crudely formed barrier. The anxiety made her head throb.

'No, please...'

She wanted to believe in Raon, but the opponent was a Transcendent Warrior. It was impossible for him to face such an opponent alone. She had to open the barrier quickly, somehow.

Zzziiii!

Merlin tore her thumb with her nail and sprinkled blood on the ground. Just as she was about to forcefully open the space using blood magic, a wave that crushed her heart poured out, revealing the Leader of the White Blood Religion.

"Merlin...."

The Leader of the White Blood Religion narrowed her eyes at Merlin.

"Interfering again, huh? Is this the will of The Fallen?"

"Think what you want."

She pondered whether to kill Merlin but stopped her hand.

As if finding Raon was the priority before others arrived, she scattered transparent bloody energy around.

Piiiik.

Merlin bit her lip and tore the wound on her finger wider.

'Can't let that mosquito witch catch him.'

If the Leader of the White Blood Religion took Raon, it wouldn't just end with turning him into an apostle.

She might dissect him to uncover the secret of his talents or brainwash him. She had to stop her at all costs.

'It'd be better for him to be taken by the Holy Sword Alliance... No, I can't let anyone have him.'

Merlin continued preparing various magic to fight any enemy and kept searching for Raon's location.

Huhuuuung!

As she examined the hill, the Demon Slaying Spear, riding on air, charged toward the Leader of the White Blood Religion.

"If you've drawn your spear, you should see it through!"

The Demon Slaying Spear shot out a whirlpool of fierce aura from the tip of his spear. The terrifying spear strike tore through the night sky.

"Get lost."

The Leader of the White Blood Religion frowned and drew a semicircle with the back of her hand.

The transparent bloody energy collided with the Demon Slaying Spear's aura, causing a massive explosion.

Kuwaaaang!

The attacks of the two Transcendent Warriors exploded, and the indigo thunderbolt was submerged under the black aura.

The Leader of the Holy Sword Alliance had arrived. His appearance, leisurely with his hands behind his back, riding a black sword, lived up to his title as the Dark Night Sword God.

"Hmm...."

The Leader of the Holy Sword Alliance released his hands from behind his back and looked down at the blood-soaked hill.

"They're gone."

He also couldn't sense the presence of Raon and Orgoth, squinting his eyes.

Rimmer and Sheryl were the next to arrive at the hill. They bit their lips as they looked around the empty hill.

"The blood of the Light Wind division and the neutral forces...."

Sheryl took a rough breath, looking at the blood spread wider than her eyes could see.

"Damn it!"

Rimmer stomped roughly. The blood that hadn't yet dried floated in the air.

"Hmm?"

His gaze, which had been fiercely on the ground, widened.

"This is...."

Rimmer put his hand in the blood and took out a split ring.

"Raon's ring?"

Sheryl swallowed dryly, looking at the ring in Rimmer's hand.

"So that huge magic earlier was teleportation."

"Instead of calling the head of house, he sent the Light Wind division. It must have been to save the wounded...."

"But why didn't he go?"

"He must have tried to distract Orgoth from interfering with the magic."

They knew Raon well enough to understand his choice. It hurt to know he made such a choice, and they felt powerless for not being able to help.

"So where did Raon go?"

"It seems the Flame Demon General created a barrier."

Sheryl quickly surveyed the surroundings, frowning.

"It felt too crude for Orgoth to have cast it."

Rimmer shook his head as he looked at the opposite side of Sheryl.

As they figured out what happened after Raon sent the Light Wind division away, the Thespian Emperor, Demonblade, and Queen of Swords descended onto the hill.

Behind them, the Dragon Sword Master and two apostles arrived.

Goooooo!

As the main characters gathered, a quiet tension rose over the blood-soaked hill.

"Thespian Emperor."

The Leader of the Holy Sword Alliance twisted his lips, looking at the Thespian Emperor who was frowning.

"The Black Tower Master is in Cameloon, is that your doing too?"

"I don't know what you're talking about."

The Thespian Emperor shrugged with a knowing expression.

"Hmm, really?"

As the Leader of the Holy Sword Alliance gestured, the black sword beneath his feet shot up into the sky.

"It's boring to just wait, let's have some fun until Raon Zieghart and Orgoth show up."

"Weren't you here to save Raon Zieghart?"

"I would like to if possible, but no one's here. I hate wasting effort on useless things."

A red stream rose in his eyes.

"Let's start round two."

Baaang!

Wrath crushed Orgoth's head in his hand. Blood and demonic energy drenched his grip.

"Having a body after a long time, I overdid it."

Even though Orgoth's head was torn off, his body didn't fall, and Wrath curled his lips.

"You held on well."

"Ugh...."

Blue flames rose from Orgoth's neck, slowly lifting his head.

Wrath narrowed his eyes, looking at Orgoth's regenerating head.

'Regenerative abilities.'

It was a high-level demon's ability.

He hadn't let Orgoth escape. He had definitely killed him, but Orgoth had the survival ability to stay alive even if his head was torn off.

Step.

Approaching the sweating Orgoth, Wrath tilted his chin.

"A greedy bug was behind you."

The demonic energy felt when Orgoth hurriedly regenerated his neck reeked of Greed. It seemed he had been a seed of Greed all along.

"Ugh...."

Orgoth bit his purple lips, retreating.

"Who, who are you? I've never heard of someone like you!"

Such overwhelming pressure on both soul and body wasn't even felt from the Tower Master. He couldn't believe he was feeling the fear he would have felt when facing 'that person' from a young human.

'Human?'

Is he really human?

His sky-blue eyes and hair that constantly changed color, his skin transparent as if it had never been exposed to sunlight.

His appearance, embodying nobility and elegance, showed a ferocious nature. Before questioning whether he was male or female, Orgoth wondered if he was really human.

"Where is Raon Zieghart...."

"I do not answer questions."

Wrath raised his blood-soaked hand with dry eyes.

"I am the one who asks questions."

He twisted his hand like turning a doorknob, and Orgoth's mouth, which had just asked a question, was torn off.

"Ugh!"

Orgoth grabbed his mangled jaw and knelt. His scream was grotesque as his mouth was damaged.

"Touching my subordinates, it's been a long time since I got this angry."

Wrath approached the trembling Orgoth on his knees.

"My wallet had its limbs broken, my eyeless had its eyes gouged out, and the untalented one had one arm burned. And...."

Showing his white teeth, he faced Orgoth's shaking pupils.

"The ice cream girl had a hole in her stomach. I will engrave all that pain onto your body and soul."

Wrath flicked his finger lightly as if pointing at something.

Crack!

Orgoth's arms twisted and tore like wrung-out laundry.

It wasn't a special technique. He had simply torn them off with condensed wrath.

"Aaaargh!"

Orgoth screamed, looking up at the ceiling of the barrier.

"It's too early to scream."

Wrath's sky-blue eyes flickered with deep blue wrath. The pain of the Light Wind division was etched into his pupils like a burn.

"Ugh!"

Orgoth screamed, retreating. Overcoming the pain with fear, blue flames surged from his regenerated hands.

"Dieeeee!"

Two streams of flame turned into arrows and shot out. Containing the full power of a Transcendent Warrior, the two fiery arrows rushed forward faster than sound.

Wrath didn't tense or sneer. With calm eyes, he gently waved his hand as if enjoying a nap.

Huaaaa.

The frost mist blooming from his fingers froze the approaching flame arrows instantly.

Crack!

The frozen fragments of the flames fell to the ground, shattering with a chilling sound.

"What, frozen?"

Orgoth's pupils fluttered like a frightened butterfly.

'Is this even possible...?'

It wasn't just ordinary flames; it was the Flame Demon, taken to its extreme. His fastest and most lethal technique had been frozen in an instant.

'I have to escape!'

This was not something he could win against. It was a calamity, not a being to be confronted but to be avoided.

Orgoth summoned the remaining Flame Demon energy and struck the ground.

Kuwaaang!

A tremendous explosion occurred, but the frozen ground only developed a fine crack.

"W-what is this...."

"You still don't understand. Did you think someone like you could break my barrier?"

Wrath shook his head, pointing at the blue world tree behind him.

"Where was I? Ah, I can't remember. Let's start over."

Before Orgoth's ears could catch those words, his arms were torn off again.

"Aaaargh!"

"A toy that heals well. Not bad."

Wrath bent over in front of Orgoth, who was trying to escape. He held him in place with invisible demonic energy and reached for his eyes.

"This time, it's your eyes' turn."

"Aaaah!"

It felt like floating in the sea.

There was no weight in his body, and the freedom of his soul tickled his chest.

Raon Zieghart frowned at the faint ringing in his ears and opened his heavy eyelids.

"Stop! Please, stop!"

The first thing he saw was Orgoth. The Transcendent Warrior, who had instilled fear, was screaming, cornered.

In front of him stood Wrath. He was creating a dark hole in Orgoth's stomach, just as he had appeared in Raon's mental world.

"You're awake at last."

Wrath clicked his tongue, turning his eyes back.

"You're always so slow."

-Are you talking to me?

"Who else is here besides you?"

Ignoring Orgoth in front of him and the demonized humans frozen behind, Wrath continued talking.

"Thanks to your clever thinking, I was able to maintain my sanity continuously, except for the beginning."

Wrath smiled, acknowledging Raon's ingenuity.

"However, when you use this again, think deeply. You will lose a lot again. It's not something you can use just because you want to."

Raon knew that, but revenge was more important.

"Anyway, thanks to you, I could repay the pain my subordinates suffered from this bug."

Even without Wrath saying so, Raon could see. Orgoth's eyes were gouged out, his limbs were torn off, and his stomach had five holes.

-Hmm?

Raon squinted at Orgoth's body.

'Regenerative abilities?'

Orgoth's damaged body began to heal slowly. The torn arms and legs reattached, and the flesh filled the holes in his stomach. It was regenerative power surpassing even a troll lord.

However, his energy had significantly diminished. It seemed he was forcibly filling his body using demonic energy.

"Do you remember when I told you that your flowers weren't real?"

-Flowers? Ah....

Wrath had always muttered, 'Ah, that's not how you use flowers,' whenever he used Fire Spirit.

"Let me show you what real flowers are."

Wrath spread his hands. Frosty shards of light rose in harmony with his undiminished wrath.

Ice buds filled with moonlight bloomed brilliantly, scattering radiant light.

Like flowers of the other shore, ice flowers in full bloom scattered countless shards that covered the barrier.

Wrath's ultimate technique.

Thousand-Year Snow Blossom.

It wasn't like Astral Energy or Astral Ring.

Each petal was a frost blade imbued with the will of wrath, drawing countless slashes.

Sound vanished within the blue moonlight.

Everything inside the barrier was sucked into the path of the slashes, then exploded into a magnificent azure light.

"I... I...."

Orgoth's body melted away atop the serene flower petals. An alien power that erased even the effect of infinite regeneration. The demonized humans behind him vanished without leaving a drop of blood.

'This is the real....'

Raon swallowed dryly. He realized that the scene he just witnessed was the ultimate form of Fire Spirit he should aspire to.

"Flowers must be handled delicately."

Wrath lightly waved his hand. With a transparent hand, as if moonlight shone upon it, he brushed back his immaculate bangs.

"You brute."

"No way...."

The Leader of the Holy Sword Alliance twisted his lips, looking at the Thespian Emperor.

"Are you running away because there's no formation?"

"If we fight here, the Owen Kingdom will intervene."

The Thespian Emperor turned her gaze from the Leader of the Holy Sword Alliance to Cameloon.

"You're greatly mistaken. If the Dark Night Sword God comes, I'll welcome it. I want to see how much he's progressed."

The Leader of the Holy Sword Alliance, crazy about swords, seemed unconcerned about the consequences.

"So what will you do? Even if you run, I won't let you go."

"You are the one mistaken."

The Thespian Emperor reached into the air. The formation that had wrapped the sky of Barene reformed along the constellations.

"My formation can be deployed anywhere."

The formation and its transfer were inevitable, knowing that the Dark Night Sword God would arrive. Without this insurance, she wouldn't have come.

'First, complete the formation. Until another Transcendent arrives... ah?'

While the Thespian Emperor was modifying her plan, a blue glow appeared in the sky, shattering the dimension.

Zzzeeek!

A tremendous sound of space breaking and the formation's flow tangled and collapsed.

All the humans, including the Thespian Emperor, the Leader of the Holy Sword Alliance, and the Leader of the White Blood Religion, turned pale as they looked up.

High in the sky, where humans appeared as mere dots, someone with long blue hair stood atop a noble star.

Wrinkles formed on the Thespian Emperor's forehead.

'What is that now?'

She couldn't see properly. The presence was so overwhelming that it was impossible to make an accurate judgment.

It felt like a catastrophe was about to burst forth from a human shell.

"Huh...."

"That's...."

Even the Leader of the Holy Sword Alliance breathed heavily in disbelief. The Leader of the White Blood Religion couldn't hide her trembling pupils.

The Blue Demon King looked down at the human Transcendents and spoke softly.

"Bow respectfully to this king."
