The AI assistant sent a notification to Masuri, a 23 year old escapee of the HYPERSENSE PROGRAM.
He took a quick sip of his newly brewed coffee and read the news on his little transparent screen.
[The HYPERSENSE Program has been a huge success ever since it's opening year 2085, 5 years from now it has grown massively across the globe-]
Masuri shuts the window down as he looks to the dystopian city in front of him, cars flying around at a rapid pace. the sun shooting down at every spot in the city, and better yet it's waiting...
Masuri got out of his apartment and rushed down to the streets to which he gotten used to by addicts and homeless people surrounding the area.
Walking through the bustling city, people passing by.. aircrafts passing by...
Life passing by..
Why does this HYPERSENSE program get so much exposure? is it because it's focusing extreme speeds beyond human comprehension?.. is it because we are limited by our muscles? what else does this benefit?..
He enters a small convenience store as he grabs cigarettes, snacks, instant food and some drinks.. he comes up to the counter ready to pay it all but the clerk was a friend of Masuri.
"I'll give ya a discount bro. just enough for ya to pay" he says dropping the price of 15 bucks to a mere 6 bucks.
"Dude. thank you but im not that broke." Masuri responded, he appreciated the gesture but since his friend was being stubborn he didnt like it one bit as he grabbed his stuff and walked off the store.
He waddled his way back to the apartment as helicopters passed by.. eh, the usual.
The government are searching for people like masuri anyway.
He took a sip of his drink as he watched the helicopters fly past him, giggling softly.
"They wont give up do they?" He said to himself as he walked over to the balcony, lighting his cigarette as the smoke flows with the soft wind.
His phone begins to ring as Masuri accepts the call.
"Sup Frank."
"Wanna head to the rooftop Mas?" Frank asked him.
Frank is a fellow FreeRunner like Masuri as the government called the escapees as such from the HYPERSENSE program.
He agreed and got to running.
He ran fast enough to hop on rooftops with ease as he meets up with Frank.
"Yo."
"Yo, Got some time?" Frank asked him.
"What is it?" Masuri added.
"Gov got us circling around the same buildings dont you think?"
"Ugh dont tell me we gotta beat these bastards again.." Masuri was beating officers or so they thought..
The Organization Called Farius Corp. Made the HYPERSENSE program with cooperation and assistance of the government to help do further research on the neural network of the human body.
"Farius got us running in circles so that they can capture us." Frank added.
"So more of these security bastards to beat up?" Masuri asked again.
"Yep, we ain't letting them get the best of us"
Frank responded.
And thus the two leaped over a building as they gained enough momentum to leap far.
In the distance they see security rushing towards them.
"They are a bit fistey today eh?" Masuri commented.
Frank agreed as he started rushing towards the security, leaning in for a punch to the jaw on one of them and the other swung at him.
He weaved under him and kneed the guard to the stomach as he wrapped his arm around his neck and slammed him to the ground punching a few times beating him out cold.
"Damn you smooth with the K.O's" Masuri commented on frank's combat ability.
"Yknow mas, you havent shown me your combat skills"
"Frank. That guy was for me yet you took both down"
"Oops my bad mas."
Masuri sighed heavily as he entered the building as more guards were apparent.
"Oh fuck." Masuri was cooked, or so frank thought because he was behind masuri waiting to see his ability.
The guards rushed towards masuri and frank as masuri threw a left hook perfectly on the jaw making the guy collapse to the ground as the other rushed to throw a punch to the liver but masuri saw through it and moved out the way to knee him on the face and drag his body to the couple other guards.
Frank was much more built than masuri but wasnt so agile and quick like he was.
"Shit dude go on! You're a master!" Frank cheered as he saw masuri absolutely wipe the guards off.
Masuri saw a helicopter through the window aiming it's minigun at them as it started spinning.
"MOVE!" he yelled as he jumped down on the stairway with frank as they hear the active shooting above.
They eventually find a vent to where the crawl slowly and silently so that they dont alert anyone.
"You didnt tell me there were helis here" he whispered to frank.
"Dude i didnt know either." Frank whispered back as they fall down to an empty office room.
"Aw shit"
"Shh!" Frank took him down and under a desk as he heard footsteps.. heavy footsteps.
The two were very silent as they hear the footsteps getting closer.. heart pumping faster...
They got closer and closer as they see heavy boots in front of them as they slowly walk away from their location.
A sigh of relief for the two as they take a quick peek as the coast was clear.
They quickly peek the hallway as there was nothing. Absolute silence.
They rush to the staircase going down until they find another rooftop close to them.
"Fuck these windows are tough to break and i dont wanna fall to my death now do i?" Masuri whimpered as he wasnt as strong as frank.
"You know thats why im here mas." Frank quickly sped up and kicked the glass as it shattered.
Frank managed to hold on to the ledge and got up quickly as masuri rushed towards frank and leaped over.
"Lets move fast, i dont wanna do this dumb shit anymore" Masuri suggested as the two ran off.
