A month after the news broadcast, Logan is preparing for an interview with investors about his mobile app project. Logan is also a self-taught programmer and has some cool projects in mind. Even if it was his first year in university, he managed to get an interview with investors with some decent ideas.
Logan steps outside and chooses the subway. After a couple of minutes, the train started moving. He heard screams and saw people panicking. "What is happening now?" Logan thinks, as the train suddenly stops making a few people fly. "Oh, come on, not today!" Logan whispers and sees a couple of gens on the first carriage, all with pistols, scaring passengers. He saw one of the gens talking to people, but couldn't hear it. Two of them started collecting passengers' cash, gold accessories, and phones. Two others stay at the cabin. Logan smirks, and watches calmly as they move to the second car which is the one he is in.
Robbers enter the carriage and one of them declares: "Attention! We have control over the cabin and if you want to leave this train in one piece. Hand over all of your cash, gold, and phones!" Logan was sitting right next to the entrance, so they first asked him.
Robber: "Come on, hand it over!"
Logan: "Sorry, I don't have anything to give you, and could you just hurry this up? I have an interview in a half hour."
Robber: "You wanna die, buddy? And how can anybody not have cash or cellphones with them? Come on, we are not kidding around here, I will shoot you."
Logan: "I do have cash and a cellphone with me, but they are not meant to be given away. They are for my use."
He grabs from Logan's neck and says "Hand it over or I am gonna shoot you right here!" Both of the robbers begin being covered with water. Then water freezes turning them into ice statues.
People are shocked, and can't believe what just happened. Logan: "All right, I have to do it myself" and starts walking to the cabin where the other robbers are. And they come out of the cabin with their pistol. Then they point their pistol at Logan and shoot. Logan immediately creates two ice walls and stops one of the bullets. One is passed through his walls but still misses him. And then Logan remembers a scene from the anime where fire magic users create a bow and arrow with fire looking so cool, and shoots the arrow using the fire bow. He wanted to try it. He knows that he needs to visualize the arrow looking like it is being shot from the bow because, in reality, it is not how it works. Fire doesn't have physical form and because of that, it cannot be used to throw or move something. He tries it. It takes longer, but he succeeds. He shoots, arrow melts through his ice walls, and puts one of the robbers on fire. The other one gets scared and grabs the extinguisher hanging on the corner and puts out the fire, saving his friend. Then he puts down his gun and surrenders.
He kicks his gun away, and goes in to cabin to check on the train operator. Unfortunately he finds them dead. Logan: "F**k! I am gonna be late now" then he reports what just happened through the communication device in cabin. He opens all doors and walks back to subway station instead of waiting for help. While others unsure of what to do and just stays inside the train.
He gets out of train station and goes with a taxi to his interview. And of course, he is late. The administrator comes up to him when he entered the building where his interview should take place, and says the interview was canceled and the investors said that he should never bother them again. He clenches his fists, he gets angry, then disappointed and thinks that he should have gone with a taxi from the start. He goes back to his apartment with a taxi again. And to his surprise when he goes inside, Mason comes up to him and shows a video of his fighting of the bad guys in the subway train. And the internet is calling him the Subway Hero. He doesn't like the word "Hero," but he still gets proud of how he managed to fire a fire arrow with a fire bow. And he gets relived to know his 3 months of training with magic is paying off.
