Chapter 29 - Chapter 29 No Secret Solo Leveling Like in Loso Leveling Anime

Here's another thing I've figured out: the nine heroes I've met so far have no clue there are others summoned besides them. Not sure if I got lucky being picked by Melt, the bottom-tier goddess, and then made some dumb requests that landed me extra prep info no one else got.

But, real talk, those goddesses never told us to kill each other either. Ugh, this is tough! What if it turns into some Deep Dark Anime vibe, and someone finds out, goes nuts, and starts hunting the rest? Eh, I'll deal with that when it happens.

For now, this world's a weird mix—not quite medieval fantasy, but a bit of fantasy-sci-fi with RPG systems and a medieval-ish vibe. Nailed it. There's this thing called the "System," and everyone knows it exists. It's not some secret, nor is it like those Loso Leveling anime where one guy grinds levels in the shadows.

People here actually use the System to their advantage. They're not dumb about it. Like, guild devices let you send messages kinda like email. There's ID-like name checks, devices to scan each other's info, and even laws are verified through the guild's System. Slave brands? Not so free that anyone can slap them on willy-nilly.

Some magic lets you video-call through guild tools—super advanced for this world, but crazy expensive. Compare that to simple text or still images, which are easy to check by feeding MP into devices.

You get the picture, right, folks? No cameras, no video-sharing sites, no smartphones for quick calls. Most heroes don't even know who to contact, why, or about what—especially strangers. With zero info about others like them, leaving a message at the guild for someone to read? Not something they'd think to do. And even if someone tried, no one's checking random guild notices.

Sure, there are warps to zip between cities, but the cost is nuts—like 3 to 12 months of a guild receptionist's salary, depending on distance. As I've said before, you need high-level folks, massive MP, specific skills, or warp gear, which jacks up the price. Plus, warps max out at 3-10 people per trip, depending on the caster's skill. Finding people to split the cost? Good luck.

Putting all this together… Yep, unless someone's really maxed out in their own country, they're not trekking to another. I'm pretty confident about that. Plus, some countries—or cities within this continent—are rivals. Not outright warring, but their laws don't protect each other's citizens. Register as a citizen of an enemy country, and you're on your own.

So!!! Me, myself, and I…

Huh? What's that? You think I'm gonna go all-in, unite everyone, and lead a grand team-up to conquer all obstacles?!

Nuh-uh! I'll help, sure—help them survive, keep moving forward, that kinda stuff. But helping to the point of spoiling the plot or what their real adventure should be? Nah, not happening. Plus, that'd make the goddesses suspicious. How'd I know all this when I'm the only one who knows there are 99 other goddesses besides my own?

Wrapping up my rambling from the last two chapters about exploration: traveling to another continent? I'm planning to head out soon. But sailing from one continent to another takes, like, 80-90 days. They travel in ship caravans, and it's super dangerous. Well, not for me—I can handle the water just fine. But that's future talk. I'm not in a rush to go save other heroes. Or… should I be, dear readers? Hmm. If there is a continental competition like I'm guessing, is helping heroes from other continents even a good idea?

No, wait—it's definitely a good idea! Alright, let's set sail for another continent!

With that, I keep munching on the Bipe corpse. Chomp chomp. Hmm, wait, can birds even chew like this? Oh, crap, they can't. So much for being sneaky—I slipped into human mode there. Whatever. Guess I need some new tricks for traveling. Something flashier, more powerful, that I can show off in front of others. Maybe a Druid vibe? Hmm. What's that? I haven't even explained [Trueform] yet, and I'm already scheming new stuff?! Haha, think of [Trueform] like a cartoon character transforming into a magical girl, Sentai, or Rider with the right gear or conditions!

It lets me travel without raising eyebrows, blending in as the actual monster, no disguise needed. And nothing can detect this ability—it's like an item or magic spell slapped on! Just need to meet a few conditions. Big thanks to [CurseHBless] and [Overlimit] for this one.

The Bihawk (me) drops the half-eaten Bipe corpse to the ground, then takes off, scouting for new prey while exploring the area.
