Evadne lay in the center of the bed, eyes fixed on the ceiling. Hades and Casadin were outside, cleaning up the storm they left in the living room. She could hear them, more like whisper-arguing, but she didn't bother eavesdropping on Casadin's thoughts. The two of them needed to settle whatever grievance they had with each other on their own.
Because deep down, Evadne knew… they missed being each other's best friend.
If they didn't care anymore, nothing either of them did would bother the other. But every insult, every jab, even over the smallest things, it all still mattered. And Evadne had always believed the opposite of love wasn't hate, it was indifference.
"Baby?" Hades' voice called softly, unsure, from the doorway.
A small smile tugged at Evadne's lips. His endearment didn't bother her anymore.
"Hmmm."
"I'm cooking dinner," Hades stepped inside and sat on the edge of the bed. He gently took her hand and began to massage it. "Is there something particular you want to eat?"
"I want Potatoes Au Gratin," Evadne rolled onto her side to face him, letting him keep her hand in his. "Can you do that?"
"I think so," Hades smiled. "It's just… potatoes, right?"
"Yes. And pair it with red wine?" she added, watching his face.
His smile grew, lighting up even more when she didn't flinch away from his touch, especially when he leaned down to kiss her forehead.
And when he tried his luck and pressed a kiss against the side of her lips… she still didn't stop him.
That made his heart skip.
"Okay. I'll do that. Just relax here," he said, voice lighter than before.
"Don't let Casadin help," Evadne called after him as he reached the doorway. "He might accidentally burn the water."
It wasn't long before she heard the two bickering again in the kitchen.
Evadne decided to close her eyes, trying to rest, but her peace was cut short by a sharp smell of burning cheese. Her eyes snapped open.
"Oh my god," she muttered, exasperated, bolting from the bed and rushing out of the master bedroom.
"Princess, no!" Casadin wrapped his arms around her waist, stopping her before she could charge into the literal chaos in the kitchen.
The oven was on fire.
Hades was in front of it, waving a towel like it owed him money.
"Hades, MOVE!" Evadne shouted, her voice cutting through the smoke and panic.
He hesitated, clearly flustered and completely useless, so she barked again, "I said move!"
He finally stepped aside just in time.
With a flick of her hand and a twist of her wrist, Evadne summoned a wave of water that extinguished the flames in seconds. The oven hissed violently. Whatever meal was in there was now an unrecognizable, soggy black mess.
"Wow, Princess. That was so cool," Casadin said, his eyes sparkling with admiration. He leaned down and kissed her jaw without even thinking.
"I try my best," Evadne replied with a wry smile. "But seriously, what the hell happened? How does an oven catch on fire like that?"
"Princess," Casadin said, turning toward her with a tone that was both amused and judgmental, "why would you ever ask him to cook? I may not know how to boil water, but that man, he can't even make a sandwich. And you asked him to cook?"
"He sounded confident!" Evadne defended herself. "He asked me what I wanted and said he was cooking. How was I supposed to know neither of you can survive in a kitchen?"
"You really had the nerve to ask that?" Casadin turned to Hades, who was now red in the ears from embarrassment.
"How difficult could it be? I just have to follow instructions," Hades snapped, glaring at him.
Then the doorbell rang.
And a voice crackled through the intercom.
"Pizza delivery."
"You ordered pizza?" Hades asked, offended, as if it were the gravest insult he'd ever received.
"Of course I ordered pizza," Casadin shot back with a smirk. "Even without superpowers, the moment you said you were cooking, I already knew I wouldn't enjoy the food."
He swung the door open and retrieved three large boxes from the delivery guy.
"Do you even know how many calories are in a single slice of pizza?" Hades muttered, scandalized. "It's unhealthy."
"Pizza, wine, and a movie?" Casadin offered to Evadne, completely ignoring Hades' complaints.
"Yes!" Evadne lit up with excitement, only for her smile to falter when she noticed the massive TV on the side of the room… shattered.
"I have my laptop," Hades said quickly, almost like he'd read her mind.
That made her smile return.
"I'll choose the movie," she declared, already heading back to the master bedroom.
"Get the wine and glasses, lunatic," Casadin muttered to Hades, following Evadne before Hades could throw a punch.
Evadne climbed onto the bed, comfortably settling herself in the middle. She took the boxes from Casadin while he grabbed Hades' laptop and powered it on.
"This guy's so creepy," Casadin muttered when the screen lit up, revealing a photo of Evadne as the screensaver.
"Thief," Casadin accused loudly when Hades walked in, balancing a tray of two bottles of red wine, three glasses, and a full set of plates and cutlery.
"You took this from my social media, didn't you?"
It was a candid shot of Evadne reading inside the SBO office. Her hair was tied up, an Apple pen between her lips, completely immersed in the iPad she was holding.
"Did it have a 'personal property' label? No? Then it's fair game," Hades shrugged.
"It's from my SM, you shit! That makes it mine!"
"Are we watching a movie or are you two going for round two already?" Evadne asked, unimpressed, looking at them over the pizza box.
That shut them both up.
"What's with the plates and utensils?" she asked Hades.
"For the pizza?" he said, uncertain now.
"We don't need them. We can eat straight from the box. With our hands."
Hades looked visibly distressed. He didn't eat food without a table. And especially not with his hands. Or in bed.
Evadne rolled her eyes. She grabbed a slice of cheese pizza, cut a small piece from the tip, and, without warning, pushed it toward Hades's lips. Surprised, he accepted the bite.
"Live a little, will you?" she teased.
But then, as she pulled her hand back, Hades caught her wrist and licked the sauce off her fingers.
Her cheeks instantly flushed.
"I think I like this way of eating," he said with a mischievous grin.
"Asshole," Evadne muttered, but her lips were tugging into a smile.
Casadin's eyes narrowed sharply at Hades. The bastard was smirking at him again. But strangely, Casadin didn't feel the usual gut-punch of rage he used to whenever he saw them close. After Evadne's confession earlier, something had changed in him.
"Princess, what movie?" Casadin asked, snapping himself out of the weird calm.
"Final Destination marathon," Evadne said brightly.
"Is that a good movie?" Hades asked, biting into a slice of pepperoni from her hand like it was the most natural thing in the world. He uncorked the first bottle and poured the wine into three glasses.
"You haven't seen it?" Evadne looked scandalized. "It's amazing. So many life lessons."
Casadin turned off the lights and boosted the laptop volume to max. He settled on her other side and handed her a glass.
And with that, the room fell into a comfortable silence as the screen lit up in front of them.
Three hours and two Final Destination movies later, Hades and Casadin were on the brink of losing their minds.
Every twisted death, every seemingly harmless setup that led to utter horror, each one chipped away at their sanity. The kind of trauma that settled in your bones, making even doorknobs and water bottles look like potential weapons of fate.
They had screamed, cursed, and clutched at pillows like lifelines, all while Evadne laughed at their reactions, nearly crying from amusement as she sat between them.
"Next!" she chirped excitedly, reaching for the trackpad.
"Princess, no! I can't handle another one," Casadin groaned, his cheeks flushed from too much wine.
"We're out of wine," Hades announced, lying sprawled on the bed beside Evadne, one arm draped possessively around her waist. He looked over Casadin's head lazily. "Get another bottle."
"Why are you ordering me around, huh? I'm the one running the laptop. I'm the operator, and now I'm your errand boy too?" Casadin complained, his face equally red.
"Because you're the one nearest the door. Are you stupid?" Hades retorted.
"Just admit it, you're scared of going out there. What happened in the kitchen earlier was a sign. A Final Destination warning," Casadin countered, standing his ground. "You go. It's your place. How the hell would I know where you keep your wine?"
Hades sat up with an annoyed sigh.
"Rock, paper, scissors. Loser gets the wine," he declared.
"Fine. No complaints from the loser. Best of three," Casadin agreed.
And like kids, the two started playing. Each round brought curses, grumbles, and victorious jeers. It went down to a dramatic 2-2.
Evadne was already doubled over from laughing.
"You two are insane," she said between giggles. "It's literally just outside the door."
"Rock, paper, scissors!" they both shouted in unison.
"Motherfucker!!!" Casadin yelled when Hades's scissors beat his paper.
"Yes!!!" Hades shouted, pumping a fist in the air. "Take the empty boxes, too!"
"Fuck you!" Casadin snapped as he grabbed the pizza boxes and dragged his feet toward the door, very, very slowly.
"What are you doing?" Evadne asked, laughing uncontrollably.
"I'm walking very carefully… so I don't die," Casadin deadpanned, his voice serious, which only made her laugh harder.
"You're paranoid," she giggled.
"Princess, this is all your fault. If I die, I'm haunting you," Casadin grumbled as he stepped out, leaving the door wide open just in case.
He kept muttering curses at every creak of the floorboard, making Evadne laugh so hard.
But Hades wasn't laughing anymore.
He turned to her, watching her radiant, carefree expression like it was the most precious thing he'd ever seen.
"Baby," he whispered, reaching out to gently cup her cheek and turn her face toward him.
She met his gaze, and without another word, he kissed her.
He half expected her to do what she did the night before, bite his lip, push him away, maybe slap him again.
But she didn't.
Evadne was still unsure if this was right. But with the wine warming her system and her heart aching with too many feelings she couldn't name, she stopped thinking about right and wrong.
She only thought about what she wanted.
And right now, she wanted to kiss him back.
So she did.
Her arms wrapped around his neck as she deepened the kiss, giving in to the fire that had been quietly simmering between them. Hades groaned softly, encouraged by her response, and his mouth grew hungrier, more intense.
His lips left hers only to trail down to her jaw… then her neck… her collarbone… the edge of her chest.
Evadne gasped, overwhelmed by the heat spreading across her skin as his kisses branded every inch they touched.
She didn't even notice when her dress slipped down, only that suddenly, her bare skin was against the cool air, and all she had on were her matching undergarments.
Hades' lips on her skin felt so right… and yet, something was missing.
She had given him access to her body, hoping, desperately, that maybe she would find the missing piece in his touch. That perhaps in the warmth of his mouth, in the trail of fire he left across her skin, she'd feel complete.
When his lips found her nipple and his hand kneaded her other breast, after he expertly unclasped and tossed aside her bra, Evadne arched her back, eyes fluttering open.
He was watching her. Always watching. His gaze didn't stray from her face, devouring her every reaction as if her pleasure were his obsession.
"Ahhhh…" she moaned, closing her eyes as his kisses moved lower, slower, more deliberate. She couldn't help but slide her fingers into his hair, gripping it tightly as if begging for more.
Hades didn't disappoint.
He planted teasing kisses just above her panties, tasting and tormenting her at the same time, like a lover and a sinner in one body.
She liked it. She wanted to want it more.
But no matter how hard she tried to immerse herself, to drown in the heat… it wasn't enough. It wasn't whole.
Not until a gasp echoed from the doorway.
Evadne's eyes snapped open.
Casadin.
He stood frozen, a bottle of wine still in his hand. His expression was unreadable, except for the heartbreak swimming in his eyes.
'Are you choosing him over me?'
The question echoed inside her head, but she no longer saw that. No longer cared.
All she knew now… was what she wanted. What she needed.
"Cas…" she whispered, biting her lip as Hades' mouth found her aching core through the thin lace of her panties.
Her breath hitched. Her body arched again. And still, she reached for Casadin.
Her arms stretched toward him, glowing faintly, skin shimmering under the dim light. Magic hummed beneath her skin, subtle, dangerous, alive.
And just like that, Casadin's heartache vanished.
He didn't care anymore that another man had his mouth between Evadne's thighs. Didn't care that this was wrong.
All that mattered was her.
She was calling him.
Beautiful, radiant, squirming on silk sheets, saying his name like it belonged to her tongue.
Casadin walked forward slowly, placing the wine bottle on the bedside table.
He met Hades' gaze. The other man didn't flinch, didn't stop. His face was still buried between Evadne's legs, licking her slowly, possessively, smirking at Casadin like they were both indulging in the same sin, and neither of them planned to stop.
"Cas…" she cried again, breathless, almost begging.
"What do you want, princess?" Casadin asked, voice rough as he took her trembling hand in his.
"Kiss me…" she breathed, eyes heavy with desire. "Please…"
He didn't wait to be asked again.
The moment their lips met, everything clicked.
This was the missing piece. The kiss that anchored her soul.
Evadne moaned into his mouth, biting his lower lip just as Hades slipped a finger inside her, dragging another sharp gasp from her throat.
She lifted her hips instinctively, and Hades took the cue, finally sliding off the last piece of fabric between her and their devotion.
It was wrong.
It was chaos.
And none of them cared anymore.
She bit the back of her hand, trying to muffle the moans clawing their way out of her throat as Casadin's mouth trailed downward.
His lips found her breast, tongue circling her nipple while his other hand slid lower, fingers brushing the sensitive skin of her inner thigh, until they found her clit and began to play, slow and maddening.
All the while, Hades remained at her core, tongue working deep, dragging her closer and closer to the edge.
Evadne's legs tensed, then instinctively wrapped around Hades' shoulders, pulling him impossibly closer.
And just when she thought she couldn't take more, both men each took one of her thighs and spread her wider, anchoring her to the mattress.
She could feel it.
The tingling started in her toes, climbing upward like wildfire.
"H-Hades!" she screamed, body arching violently as the first orgasm crashed over her.
Her hands flew to both their heads, grabbing their hair as if it were the only thing keeping her from floating away.
Hades drank every last drop of her release, not wasting a single drop of the pleasure she had given him.
When he was done, he finally lifted himself from between her trembling thighs, lips glistening, eyes still dark with hunger.
Both he and Casadin discarded their pants and boxers without a word, the sound of fabric falling to the floor barely registering against the thrum of need that filled the room.
And as if guided by instinct, by some unspoken agreement, Casadin took Hades' place between Evadne's legs, while Hades slid up the bed, settling himself against the headboard. He gently pulled Evadne upward, cradling her against his chest as if she were the most precious thing in the world.
He kissed along her jaw, soft at first, then with growing hunger. His hands roamed down her front, cupping her breasts, kneading them with slow, deliberate pressure, pinching her nipples just hard enough to make her gasp and bite her lip.
"Look, baby," Hades whispered against her ear, voice low and dark with anticipation. His breath tickled her skin, making her shiver as he turned her face slightly to watch Casadin.
Casadin was already positioned, his thick shaft poised at her entrance, his gaze fixed on her with barely restrained restraint.
He was silent for a moment, as if revering the moment. And then slowly… carefully… he began to push forward.
"Cas!" Evadne moaned, her voice cracked with tension and anticipation. She tried to reach for him, but Hades caught her wrists and pulled them to her chest, folding her arms around herself like a self-embrace.
"Princess, you're so fucking tight," Casadin growled through gritted teeth, struggling to push further inside despite how wet she already was from Hades.
A hiss escaped him when the head of his cock finally slipped past her entrance, her body clenching around him like a vice.
He had to stop, breathe, control himself, because even with just the head inside her, he was on the brink of losing his sanity.
Holding her hips just above the mattress, Casadin aligned himself perfectly. Hades still cradled Evadne from behind, arms wrapped around her, letting her rest her weight against his chest while Casadin held her in place.
And then, in one smooth, devastating thrust, Casadin sank fully inside her.
"F*ck!"
Hades caught her mouth in a deep kiss, swallowing the scream that tore from her lips. She bit down on his lower lip, drawing blood, and he moaned into her mouth without care.
Casadin stilled for a moment, groaning low as her walls squeezed around him.
Evadne trembled in their arms, goosebumps rising across her skin as the brutal mix of pain and pleasure lit up every nerve ending in her body. She was overwhelmed. Consumed.
Hades let go of her arms, allowing her freedom to reach, one hand found Casadin's chest, grounding herself, while the other was guided downward by Hades.
"Hold me, baby…" Hades whispered, guiding her palm to his own arousal, hard and leaking, pulsing with desire.
He inhaled sharply the moment her soft hand wrapped around him.
"Just like that… up and down…" he coaxed, closing his hand over hers to guide the rhythm.
Casadin began to move again, dragging himself out inch by inch, only to thrust back in with a soundless groan.
And this time, he was the one to claim her lips, taking her mouth with his while thrusting deeper and faster.
Their position was pure sin. Twisted. Carnal.
And yet, it felt too good.
Too right.
Too perfect.
For all three of them.
Casadin and Hades both hissed when they felt her clench.
"Ahhh, god!" Evadne gasped, the second orgasm slamming into her so fast it left her boneless.
But Casadin wasn't done.
He looked over her shoulder, locking eyes with Hades.
And Hades smirked.
"On your fours, baby," Hades murmured into her ear, biting her earlobe.
Still hazy, still lost in the last wave of pleasure, Evadne could only obey, letting them shift her into position.
Now on all fours, she blinked up at Hades, face inches away from his aching cock. Her lips were parted, unsure, but hungry.
He didn't command her. Didn't need to.
He just smiled down at her and gently tucked her long, silky hair behind her ear, like a lover preparing his queen.
Behind her, Casadin positioned himself once again. His hands gripped her waist, adjusting her hips just right, before thrusting back in.
"Hhhhhhhaaaaaa!!!"
She cried out, biting into Hades' abdomen as Casadin entered her again, deeper this time. Her entire body shook.
And without even thinking, her lips wrapped around Hades' shaft, moaning softly into him as Casadin began moving, slow and possessive.
"Shitttt!!!" both men cursed, their control slipping. Her heat, her mouth, her scent, it was too much.
She was burning them both alive.
It didn't take long for them to find their rhythm again.
"F-fuck, Princess!" Casadin groaned, his voice hoarse and barely controlled. His thrusts became faster, deeper, desperation and hunger blending as he chased release.
He tried to pull out when he felt himself about to come, but she clenched tighter around him, locking him in place.
Evadne glanced over her shoulder, eyes glazed in pleasure, lips parted, her expression almost pleading, and yet commanding.
"Inside," she whispered, the only word she could manage through the storm of ecstasy.
Her arms wrapped tightly around Hades' waist, grounding herself as she looked up at him, tears shimmering in her eyes, not from pain, but from overwhelming, uncontrollable pleasure. Her nails raked down his back just as Casadin reached his limit.
He spilled himself inside her with a raw, broken curse, his hands shaking as her body trembled with him.
Their release mixed, thick, warm, slowly dripping down her thighs as Casadin finally withdrew.
Every nerve in her body sang, pulsed, ached. And yet…
It still wasn't enough.
Because the other half of what made her feel whole was still right in front of her, hard, waiting, his eyes on her.
As soon as her body adjusted, she pushed herself up and straddled Hades.
Her knees wobbled. Her arms trembled. Every inch of her was oversensitive, but she wanted more. Needed it.
Her hand reached for him, struggling to guide him into her, but her muscles refused to obey.
"Need help, baby?" Hades murmured, eyes dark, voice laced with both amusement and reverence.
He guided himself into her, groaning when he met resistance. Despite the aftermath of her time with Casadin, she was still impossibly tight.
Casadin, still breathless, placed his hands on her hips and helped steady her, guiding her down slowly onto Hades' length.
Her moan caught in her throat, swallowed by Casadin's kiss.
He shouldn't have enjoyed it. Her lips still tasted faintly of another man. But instead of repulsing him, it pushed him further toward madness. His manhood twitched and hardened again, ready for more.
Below her, Hades began to thrust upward, his mouth claiming her breasts, licking and sucking her nipples with the same hunger he always held for her.
Casadin kept her rhythm steady, helping her ride Hades faster, harder, his hands strong on her hips.
Evadne was caught between them, moaning into Casadin's mouth, hand reaching behind her to wrap around his growing arousal. Her strokes became rhythmic, her fingers slick with his precum as she pumped him up and down.
The two men took turns marking her lips, leaving her dizzy with every kiss, every bite.
Then, without needing to speak, Casadin stood from the bed, his cock proud and aching. Hades took over holding her hips, keeping her steady on top of him.
Casadin stood beside her, his body flushed, breath uneven.
"Princess," he said, voice dark and tender.
And Evadne didn't need to be told what to do.
She leaned forward and took him into her mouth, moaning softly as she wrapped her lips around his length. One hand worked what her mouth couldn't reach, slick and slow.
Casadin hissed, fingers weaving through her hair, holding her in place as he reached his second release. His head fell back, a guttural groan escaping his lips as he came.
The moment he did, Evadne clenched tight around Hades, and that was all it took.
"Baby, fuck!" Hades moaned, his body jerking as he released inside her, hips bucking up in sharp, uncontrolled thrusts.
She swallowed every drop of Casadin's seed, moaning around him as she milked Hades' release deep within her core, holding onto both men like it was the only right thing left in the world.
Casadin finally pulled away, chest rising and falling rapidly, his muscles tense, his eyes dark and hungry as he stumbled back onto the bed and leaned against the headboard.
Evadne collapsed forward, her body weak, trembling, completely spent. She fell onto Hades' chest, his arms immediately wrapping around her protectively.
All three of them were silent for a moment, catching their breath, hearts still racing.
"You okay, baby?" Hades murmured, brushing sweat-damp hair from her face and kissing her temple. He was still inside her, though now softened, their bodies tangled as one.
"My knees are shaking," she whispered with a small smile. But her eyes were on Casadin.
Then, never breaking eye contact, she wiped the stray drop of seed from her lips with her thumb… and sucked it slowly into her mouth.
Casadin's entire body jerked.
"Fuck!" he growled, hissing sharply.
And just like that, just a few heartbeats later, they were at it again.
Hades and Casadin worshipped her like sinners bowing at the altar of a goddess. They marked her skin with bites and kisses, devoured her moans, and whispered her name like a prayer.
And they didn't stop at the bed.
They had her on the wall. The dresser. The floor.
They made her scream their names again and again, until her voice gave out, until her body gave in.
Until sleep finally took her, torn apart and remade, nestled between the two men who, only hours ago, were ready to destroy each other just to have her.
Now?
She was theirs.
And they were hers.
