*"Truly worthy of the Second Hokage… Even when angry, he still looks so dignified…"*
Kaze muttered softly—softly enough to seem like he was talking to himself, but just barely audible to Tobirama.
Hmm?
Tobirama's anger suddenly softened.
*「Could this brat actually be one of my admirers?」*
*Cough cough.* "Continue your explanation, brat."
After glancing at Kaze—who now wore a clearly admiring expression—Tobirama subtly straightened his posture and coughed twice.
"Yes, Lord Tobirama."
Successfully fast-forwarding through the exposition, Kaze quickly walked Tobirama through the events of Naruto Shippuden.
Throughout his narration, Kaze intentionally omitted any mention of Black Zetsu and left out parts he himself couldn't explain.
He truthfully relayed Madara's supposedly flawless and secret Moon's Eye Plan to Tobirama. He believed nobody would ever find out.
"I knew it. Even in death, that treacherous Madara Uchiha couldn't rest peacefully!" Tobirama sneered.
"My older brother should've listened to me back then and wiped Madara out sooner. Konoha wouldn't have fallen into such a crisis had he lived."
Tobirama had always maintained caution, suspicion, and even murderous intent toward the Uchiha clan.
From the Uchiha clan's perspective, Tobirama was undeniably the villain.
But viewed from a broader angle, if not for Tobirama's firm suppression of the Uchiha, the newly formed village of Konoha might've already collapsed.
It's not about right or wrong—it's about different perspectives.
Crossing his arms, Tobirama tilted his gaze coldly at Kaze.
"I won't bother asking how you came to know all this," Tobirama said frostily. "Tell me, brat, what exactly do you want me to help you with?"
Kaze's heart tightened—he felt as if Tobirama had seen through him completely.
As expected, none of these old geezers were easy to handle… except maybe Hashirama, that naive blockhead.
"Lord Tobirama, I'd like your help improving the Impure World Reincarnation technique," Kaze finally requested.
"That way, I can summon both you and the First Hokage at your peak states to help me and my father fight against Madara Uchiha!"
Tobirama winced inwardly.
What in the world?! This punk summoned him—a reincarnated soul—and wanted his help enhancing the Impure World Reincarnation jutsu just to reincarnate him and his older brother again to serve as the kid's hired muscle?!
Wasn't this bastard treating him like a complete fool?!
[Master's pretty low-key terrible,] the System grumbled within Kaze's mind.
[Even corporate bosses aren't this ruthless—you're practically a slaver!]
*Cough, cough.* "You're being a bit harsh, System," Kaze thought back.
"I'm simply offering Lord Tobirama another opportunity to prove his worth."
"We're helping each other mutually—we're working toward mutual goals. There's absolutely no exploitation involved."
[Pfft.]
Tobirama didn't respond immediately. Instead, he shifted topics.
"Hearing you just now, did Tanzō become Hokage? What about… Hiruzen? Where does he fit into all this?"
Kaze answered in an extremely formal tone.
"After serving as Hokage for so many years, the Third grew weary, so he passed both the title and Konoha itself to my father."
Tobirama: "What in the world did you just say?! Say it clearly!"
Kaze: "…Oh."
"My father had his eyes on the Hokage position for years. After leading Konoha to victory in war, his prestige reached its peak. Naturally, he succeeded as Hokage."
"That's right." Instead of reprimanding Danzō, Tobirama actually gave a satisfied nod.
"However, there's one more thing I need you to clear up for me..."
At this point, Tobirama slightly narrowed his eyes, fixing Kaze with a piercing crimson stare—his murderous intent flashing briefly.
"Why do you," he asked coldly, "possess Aniki's cells?"
Tobirama radiated an intimidating aura, but Kaze remained utterly unafraid—he could take the guy down with one hand. What was there to fear?
Kaze replied calmly,
"Here's the thing, Elder Tobirama. Before the Fifth generation, our bloodline intermarried with the Senju clan.
"After years of painstaking research with my father, we successfully mastered Wood Release. Therefore, my cells display traits similar to Lord Hashirama's.
"So… would it be too much if I called you Grandpa?"
With that, Kaze clapped his hands together and conjured two small wooden stools before Tobirama.
"Please have a seat first, Grandpa Tobirama. Let's continue our chat sitting down."
Tobirama gazed deeply at Kaze, then sat upon the wooden stool, proceeding to ask other questions.
Returning to the present world, naturally he wanted to know how Konoha had developed, what the current state of the ninja world was, and what had become of old acquaintances from back then.
Kaze patiently answered each question, occasionally slipping in a compliment to gradually raise Tobirama's favor.
After a long while, Tobirama finally spoke slowly,
"Fine then. If it's for the purpose of dealing with Madara Uchiha, then I'll allow myself to be 'used' by you just once."
Just this once?
Upon hearing Tobirama's words, Kaze secretly chuckled to himself.
Used by someone else—once? There's no such thing as 'just once.' It's either zero times or infinite times.
Just like when he and Yukiko were out in the wilderness—Yukiko said the exact same thing... [cough]!
In any case, Kaze had already planned out several decades' worth of missions for Tobirama in his mind.
A high-level talent who didn't eat, sleep, or require rest was exactly what Konoha needed during this stage of rebuilding!
For Konoha's sake, even if it meant becoming street lamp decor, Kaze would still gladly accept [doggo emoji].
...
Iwagakure.
Once-orderly buildings had crumbled into ruins; the village that used to be peaceful and harmonious now echoed with cries of sorrow, turned into a living hell.
"Madara Uchiha! Madara Uchiha! Aaaaaah!"
Ōnoki knelt helplessly amidst the wreckage, staring at the devastated scenery before him, his eyes practically bursting with rage.
"Heheheh."
From within thick smoke, Susanoo's massive wings unfurled, blotting out the sky like a storm cloud. Its colossal shadow fell across the land.
Madara hovered inside his Susanoo, like a god from high above, gazing down coldly on all beings.
"Little Ōnoki," Madara sneered, "Is this tiny setback already too much for you to handle?"
Seeing Ōnoki in such a state, Madara laughed disdainfully.
"You heartless bastard! How can you possibly understand the pain of losing your family!" Ōnoki shouted, pointing furiously toward Madara, his eyes bloodshot with rage.
Whoosh.
Madara's smile vanished in an instant, his expression hardening into grim resolve.
"You're saying I don't understand... the pain of losing family?"
Sasuke's face flashed through Madara's mind once more.
Madara's blue Susanoo slowly drew its twin swords and sliced downward from the sky toward the earth!
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
A terrifying blade aura stretched for thousands of meters, tearing through the already devastated Iwagakure, shattering it further.
"No!" Ōnoki screamed in despair.
At this moment, he felt more anguish than Yuan Hua, more torment than Ken Kaneki, more suffering than Obito!
(World: I messed up again, didn't I?)
"The weak are destined to be crushed underfoot," Madara said calmly, watching Ōnoki suffering intensely.
"Without mercy or charity from the strong, you don't even deserve the right to complain."
"Get used to it, kid."
Leaving those words behind, Madara seized the two unconscious Jinchūriki, lifted off the ground, and vanished into the sky.
Leaving only Ōnoki behind, screaming desperately at the top of his lungs.
"Hurry! Notify all the great ninja villages! Uchiha Madara... Uchiha Madara is not dead!"
