Hisoka starts walking toward the three.
"Three!"
Kurapika and Leorio, standing on either side of Loki, simultaneously flee in opposite directions. Their escape is incredibly fast; in a single breath, they've covered seven or eight meters, and their speed is still increasing. The instant they start running, they see Loki standing still and look back at him.
Kurapika hesitates for a second before continuing to run forward. Unlike Leorio, Kurapika thinks more deeply. Although she doesn't know what Loki is doing, the plan was clear, yet Loki didn't follow it. There's only one explanation: he's buying them time!
Kurapika's rational mind hesitates for a moment, but when she realizes Loki is buying them time, she immediately accelerates. She can't waste the time her companion is giving them!
'Mr. Loki, thank you!!!' Kurapika glances at Loki, then focuses on fleeing.
Leorio, on the other hand, stares at Loki until Loki's figure disappears as he continues to run forward. Then Leorio stops. He hangs his head, clenching his fists, and grits his teeth. "Just running away without doing anything… I…"
Hisoka's eyebrows twitch slightly as he watches Kurapika and Leorio flee. "A smart choice, but…" He turns to look at Loki, who is still standing. "Your choice is unexpected."
'This place is quite suitable for me. Even if I'm not his opponent, in this fog-shrouded forest, escape isn't impossible!'
Loki slowly bends down. 'My strength is still unknown. I'll use Hisoka as a test!'
Loki's aura changes the moment he decides to attack. Hisoka clearly senses the powerful aura emanating from Loki. This isn't about strength but willpower.
Without noticing, a cold wind whips around Loki as he focuses on attacking Hisoka. A bright light gathers in his hands.
Hisoka's eyes flash. 'That's Nen! This kid… uses Nen…'
Loki explodes into motion!
Bang!
The ground caves in, spiderweb cracks spreading, dust flying. Loki shoots toward Hisoka like a cannonball, reaching him in a blink. He throws a punch, using all his strength, aiming for Hisoka's face. It's pure power and speed, with Nen unknowingly woven into the blow.
Bang!
Loki's full-power punch is easily blocked by Hisoka. Loki isn't surprised.
Bang bang bang!
He unleashes a flurry of punches, all blocked by Hisoka. Loki frowns; in a few seconds, he's thrown dozens of punches, none landing. His attacks are ineffective.
"This attack isn't enough to hit me," Hisoka says.
A hand suddenly appears before Loki, grabbing for his neck.
'So fast…'
With a loud thud, Loki spins in the air, landing steadily. Hisoka's eyes narrow. 'Just now, he used a tremendous amount of Nen to accelerate, dodging my attack. This Nen usage…' 'This kid doesn't seem to know Nen! He used it instinctively…'
The moment is strange. Loki stands still, feeling as if his body was struck by a tremendous force, allowing him to escape Hisoka's attack. He doesn't understand what happened.
Hisoka's eyes slowly open, his expression excited. Observing Loki's bewildered look fuels his excitement. If his guess is correct, Loki used Nen unconsciously. Hisoka finds it unbelievable. If Loki learns to use Nen, his potential is terrifying. Using instinct alone, he achieved this. A fully awakened Nen would be even more terrifying.
'I've found an amazing toy!'
Three cards appear in Hisoka's right hand. Loki prepares to dodge.
"A magician's attack isn't easily seen through!"
Whoosh whoosh whoosh!
Hisoka throws another deck of cards into the air. As the cards distract Loki, two cards shoot toward him with strange trajectory. The attack is silent.
Swish!
The attack misses. Loki moves through the flying cards, approaching Hisoka from below, unleashing a powerful flying kick.
Bang bang!
Hisoka tries to grab Loki, but the Nen around Loki's legs sends Hisoka flying. Hisoka is stunned.
'He hasn't fully awakened his Nen, yet it's this powerful! If he does…'
Hisoka is very satisfied. He didn't expect to find such an interesting toy during a boring Hunter Exam.
'Congratulations, host! Mission complete: Hisoka's trial. Hisoka's approval obtained!'
'Reward: One B-rank character lottery.'
'Drawing…'
'Obtained: B-rank character, One Piece's Rob Lucci.'
'Ability extraction…'
'Extraction successful.'
Unlike last time, Loki's physique has been enhanced by the S-rank character Yō Asakura, surpassing the B-rank Rob Lucci. Though he feels no physical changes, Loki finds many new techniques in his mind: Rokushiki (Six Powers). This is exactly what he needed. He gained Yō Asakura's power, but much of it relies on shamanic abilities, which Loki hasn't found in this world. Many of Yō's abilities seem unusable. He can only rely on his own strength. Rokushiki is perfect for his current situation.
The system's reward is instantaneous. Hisoka senses a change in Loki.
"Soru!"
Loki suddenly disappears. Hisoka is startled.
Loki reappears before him, spinning in the air.
"Rankyaku…"
Loki's kick creates a vacuum slash, tearing toward Hisoka.
Whoosh!
Hisoka dodges. The slash creates a long crack in the ground.
'Amazing technique!' Hisoka marvels. He didn't expect someone to unleash such an attack without Nen. A typical Nen user wouldn't survive.
"Shigan!!"
Bang bang bang!
Before Hisoka can react, Loki's attack continues. His fingers are like bullets, overwhelming Hisoka.
