Chapter 26 - National Stage
Jack sits in his office, staring at the city skyline. The acquisition of the tech startup has given him a foothold in the digital payments market, but it's not enough. If he wants to become the richest man in the country, he needs to think bigger.

Chris enters the room, carrying a thick folder. "You're going to want to see this."
Jack takes the folder and flips it open. Inside are reports on national-level companies struggling to stay afloat – companies ripe for acquisition.
"There's a chain of convenience stores that's about to go under," Chris says. "They have over a hundred locations nationwide, but they're drowning in debt."
Jack leans back, tapping his fingers against the desk. "If we acquire them, we'd have instant access to hundreds of storefronts. We could use them to distribute our payment processing systems."
[Hint: Consolidate assets and integrate new technology to dominate the market.]
Jack nods. "Get me a meeting with their CEO. And prepare a list of potential investors."
Chris raises an eyebrow. "Investors? You're thinking of bringing in partners?"
"No," Jack says, eyes gleaming. "I'm thinking of using other people's money to expand our empire."

Jack rises, a determined look on his face. "It's time to step onto the national stage. And once I do, there will be no going back."
