"So, you sleep on the bed and I'll sleep in the bag with the pillow? How does that sound?" Wally asked as we walked into his room and I looked at the prepared accommodation.
His eyes widened a second later when I picked him up around the waist and placed him on the bed before sitting down on the sleeping bag.
"This is your home and I am the guest. Besides, I've been sleeping in a cryo-pod for the past couple of months. A sleeping bag is a massive upgrade compared to that."
"…Hah, fine. To be honest, I only offered the bed 'cause Mom said it's the 'gentlemanly' thing to do."
"Eh, we're just two bros hanging out. No need for all that gentleman stuff." I answered with a shrug as I laid down and I smirked as I heard him snort and lie down as well.
"So…got any…celebrity crushes?"
"Really?" I asked and shook my head as he grunted.
"What else you wanna talk about?"
"…Black Canary." I answered in response and rolled my eyes as he grinned while looking over the edge of the bed.
"Nice~ the blonde with the badass voice and hot body. Not a bad pick."
"…Sure, let's go with that. What about you? Who is your pick?"
"Wonder Woman, duh~ The hot Amazonian that would just pin you down an-!"
"Nope, I'm going to stop you there because I do not need vivid details." I quickly interrupted Wally before he could go into detail and he blinked before giving an embarrassed smile as he nodded.
"Yeah, probably right about that. Hey, can I ask something?"
"You already did." I answered with a smirk and chuckled as he rolled his eyes before lying back down.
"Ha-ha. Very funny. Can I ask another question then?"
"You just did…again."
"Then can I ask two more?"
"Sure. What's up?"
"What was it like? You know, in…in the tube?"
"Oh, I was just studying for like five out of the seven days of the week and the other two days was constant death-battles against a simulation of Superman. Well, I call them battles, but most of them were just me trying my best to not die against the guy."
"…That is a lot crappier than I was expecting. Sorry for asking." He muttered and I chuckled before giving a thumbs-up.
"All's good. I see all of that as moments where I learned more about myself as well as the best training that one could have."
"Of course, you would. Anyway, we got a busy day ahead of us tomorrow. Sleep tight, man."
"You too." I said and closed my eyes as I took a deep breath, waiting until I heard his breathing even out before reaching into my suit and pulling out the vial of shimmering liquid that the scientist wanted to ingest.
'If I remember correctly, the name of it is supposed to be Blockbuster or something like that. While it does seem enticing to get more strength, I really don't want to risk losing my good looks.' I thought with a frown as I stared at the vial, shaking it a bit to watch the liquid swirl before shaking my head as I placed the vial back under the safety that was my armpit.
It's a miracle that the thing has not been broken yet, but tomorrow, I'm going to hang out with Wally and the day after that is going to be me finding not only some clothes but also a holding case for it.
'Yep, tomorrow.'

"…I thought we had a busy day?" I asked as Wally and I sat on the sofa, sighing just a split second later as he snorted and nodded.
"You kidding me? You know how much energy is put into watching cartoons on a Saturday morning?"
"I'm going outside and touching some grass."
"Say hi to nature for me when you're out there~!" He waved with a smile as he continued watching, to which I shook my head with a sigh before walking out of the kitchen back door into the backyard.
It was a quaint little one with a slanted porch roof, steps down onto a path that led to the shed and a bit of grass on both sides of the pathway.
'In other words, just what I wanted.' I thought with a smirk as I walked down the path, sitting down on the path before looking up at the bright sun as it shone down upon me.
'Feel the rays of the sun…let it flow through you…' With each deep breath I took, I repeated that mantra in my head while trying me best to feel out if the sun was doing anything for my body.
Unfortunately, as I clenched my hand as hard as I could, I frowned as it didn't feel anything different than what I felt earlier.
Not wanting to stop lest something happen, I sat cross-legged in the middle of the path for a couple of minutes while taking deep breaths, but I sighed as I tried to clench my hands once more only for it to feel the same as usual.
'I thought that I could figure out a way to get rid of the mental blocks, but it appears those G-Gnomes have a better hold on me than I thought.' I thought with a sigh as I rested my arms against my legs before my eyes widened as I remembered about one of the strongest telepaths in the verse.
'She was able to go into Superboy's mind in the canon universe and remove any mental triggers and/ or commands he had. Here, I know of them earlier so I can get her to remove them when we first met as a sign of trust. Oh, that could also open the opportunity for a date too.' I wasn't kidding when I said that I had a love for the abnormal and how many guys can say they've kissed a Martian?
There was also the shapeshifting, but I like to look at that as an added bonus, especially since I know she can replicate body parts from that one episode.
'Wait, if she replicate certain spots, does her body automatically give her the pleasure zones that come with them? …Oh, now I need to do some testing.'
"Hey, Chris!" I blinked as I heard the name being called out before remembering that that was my name, looking back at Wally to see him grumbling as he walked out.
"What crawled into your cereal?"
"Mom. This came in this morning and she wants us to go out." He answered while throwing something at me and I caught it with ease before raising an eyebrow at it.
" 'From Batman: For Expenses.' Seriously, why did he have to attach a note?" Wally spoke with a grumble as he crumbled it up and I frowned while looking at the black card in my hands before looking back up at the speedster with a smirk.
"How much is the limit?" I asked and he looked at me with a confused look before he caught on as his eyes widened and he smirked.
"Hoho~ You thinking what I'm thinking?"
"Oh, I am indeed. This is for expenses, so let's spend."

"Why was that the first thing you bought?" He asked with a raised eyebrow as the two of us walked through the mall and I stopped fiddling with my collar to look at him.
"What do you mean? It's a holder."
"Yeah, but for what?" I looked down at the ornate wooden storage box that was in the bag I was carrying before shrugging as I continued walking.
"For storage. Why else would someone buy a storage box?"
"You know that you're very annoying to talk to, right?"
"I know. So, where is this shop you spoke of?" I asked and blinked as he smirked while gesturing to the side, looking at what he was pointing at before raising an eyebrow at the name.
" Forever Sixteen Suburban Outfitters…Sure, are they good?" I asked as we walked in before raising an eyebrow at the numerous clothing in front of us.
"They're good. Now, go and get as many outfits as you want, young soldier~!" Wally exclaimed with a grin and I rolled my eyes as his shout drew the attention of the others in the store.
"I apologize on his behalf. He's a very excitable person." I apologized while making my way over to the shirts, humming as I saw that most had either a superhero logo or a print of a superhero on the front of it.
'I mean, I don't mind the original look, but is this really all there is? Are there even just some normal no logo shirts?' I thought with a slight frown as I looked around only to shake my head as I saw nothing other than just shirts with logos on logos.
"Find anything?" Wally asked and I frowned before nodding as I picked out my black Superman shirts with the red logo and five red Flash shirts with the golden Flash logo.
CW Flash was one of my favourite DC characters, okay? Got to represent myself as a fan some way.
"Man, I haven't seen these in a while." Wally spoke with a smirk as he lifted up one of the Flash shirts and I rolled my eyes as I shrugged while walking over to the pants section.
"The Flash is one of my favourite heroes."
"You've only been out of your pod since yesterday. I don't think you're allowed to have a favourite."
"I've also been trapped in a pod for a few months where I was forced to learn years of knowledge in those months, specifically any knowledge pertaining to the Justice League." I answered while picking up a pair of black jeans, lifting them up while looking them over with a critical eye.
"That…makes sense. Okay, if Flash is your favourite, who are your top five?"
"Flash, Martian Manhunter, Green Arrow, Green Lantern and Aquaman."
"Damn, you hate Superman and Batman that much, huh?" Wally asked with a smirk as he handed over a pair of dark blue jeans and I gave a nod in thanks as I picked out another ten of them before making my way over to the jackets and shoes.
"I wouldn't say hate. More like I tolerate them but I don't like them."
"Ah, so like you look up to them but at the same time you can't stand them sometimes, right?"
"Precisely. Also, white with blue and gold or black with gold?" I asked as I held up the two pairs of sneakers and he looked at both before shrugging as he lifted the boxes for both.
"It's Batman's money, isn't it?" He asked and I grinned as I nodded while placing both back in their boxes.
"That is true. What about you? You got something you wanna buy?" I asked and he frowned as he looked around for a bit before shaking his head.
"Nah, nothing I can see. Wait, does that mean you're done?" He asked and I snorted as I shook my head, Wally grunting as I let him carry everything while I walked over to the jacket isle before he rose an eyebrow as I came back with a dark brown leather jacket.
Holding a hand up to stop him from speaking, I walked over to the glasses section and checked out each one before settling for a pair of aviator sunglasses with a dark red frame.
Putting them on and tilting them down slightly, I rose an eyebrow at Wally as he grinned and gave a thumbs-up.
"Punk rock meets Superman. Nice."
"Thanks." The idea had just come to me after I realized that people would still just see me as Superman if I actually start to go public so I needed a way to cement my identity in the public eye.
Hence, me going for a biker/ aloof look.
"Now, let's go ring up a-!" Wally stopped speaking and both of us looked out the shop as a loud alarm rang out, to which he looked at me as I nodded with a frown before placing them all in front of a surprised cashier.
"Would you mind ringing these up for me, please?" I asked with the most charming smile I could and it worked as she blushed and nodded.
"Oh and add in these as well, okay?" I asked as I took off two bandanas from the rack and threw one at Wally, who nodded in thanks as the two of us rushed out of the shop while tying them around our faces.
"Will these even works?" He asked as we leapt over the second floor railing and I snorted as I took note of which direction everyone was running away from.
"Nope! Just need to hide the most of it!" I answered as the two of us landed with a roll and I took off the button-up shirt I was wearing before wrapping it around my neck, leaving my upper body bare.
A moment later, I leapt back while grunting as a man was thrown into me, taking away most of the force behind the throw while rolling to bleed away even more of the momentum as I rolled my feet with a sigh.
"You good?" I asked the security guard and he looked a bit shaky as he nodded, to which I placed him on his own feet before looking up to see Wally coming to a sliding stop and placing the shopclerk in his arms on the ground.
"Go! We'll take care of this!" He shouted through his headwear and the two men nodded quickly as they ran away and left us alone with the two villains that were terrorizing the mall.
"Well, I'll be. It's not everyday mama gets ta see somethin' like this." The girl with the long blonde hair in a ponytail spoke with a suggestive smirk while looking at me and I chuckled at Wally and the other villain rolling their eyes as I shrugged.
"You'll get to see more if you surrender."
"Ooh~ See, that's a very tempting offer right there."
"Tuppence~"
"Hah…Unfortunately, my brother here doesn't like it when I talk ta cute heroes so I'm gonna hav' ta break ya." Tuppence spoke with a smirk as she walked forward and I did the same, cracking my neck and knuckles as she rolled her shoulders.
A moment later, I ducked under the swing aimed at my head while delivering a hook punch to her inner right thigh, making her knee buckle as she fell forward only for her head to snap back when I lashed out with a rising knee.
Looking over her shoulder as the other spiky-haired blonde brother charged towards me, I smirked as Wally rushed forward and kept him busy before I leapt back right as Tuppence attempted to land a kick to my crotch.
"Really?" I asked and she shrugged as she spat to the side before raising her fists.
"All's fair in love and war."
"…That is true." I agreed before lunging forward once more, sliding under the hook punch while gripping her ankle tightly before I spun around, ripping her leg out from under her as she went to turn around.
A surprised shout escaped her lips as she fell face first onto the floor before I leapt to my feet and spun, swinging her with me and surprising her brother as I slammed her into him before throwing the both of them out through the roof of the store.
"Go low and I'll go high." I spoke and Wally grinned as he nodded before I watched as the speedster raced through the crowd while making his way outside.
With a low crouch and a heavy grunt, the ground under me cratered as I shot right through the ceiling windows and up into the air, flying through the air with an arc before slamming feet first into the parking lot outside.
However, as I walked out of the crater and stood besides a confident Wally, I rose an eyebrow as the two siblings quickly spun and leapt away right before sighing as I realized why they were running when two presences stopped besides us.
"Hey, Supes. Can we talk?" I asked and the man looked at me before I was not surprised as he shook his head with a frown.
"We will talk another time. For now, go back and search the area for any other villains."
"And head home the moment you finish that!" Flash shouted as he quickly raced after Superman, leaving Wally and I alone as I took off the shirt with a grunt and put it back on.
"…Man, this is some bullshit! We do most of the work, but then they come in to swoop up all the credit." Wally grumbled as he kicked a rock and I decided to let him vent as I looked in the direction the speedster and alien just left.
I was half-expecting a 'maybe later' or a 'once we're done', but just a 'talk another time'? That was code for 'Never until someone forces me to', which doesn't surprise me considering how he acted against Superboy in season 1.
'Superboy wanted his approval. Me on the other hand?…I could care less.'
"Hey, we still have the card. Let's go and eat some fine dining on Batman's tab." I said as we began making our way back and Wally took off his bandana before smirking as he nodded.
"Sounds like a plan. Ever had a chilli dog?"

"Why…was the bill $5,000?" Batman asked first thing in the morning when Wally and I walked out of the teleportation tube-thing along with Dick and Kaldur.
"Wait, what the hell did you guys buy?" Dick asked with a surprised look and I frowned slightly as I tried to think back.
"$200 worth of Superman and Flash shirts as you can see from the Superman one I have on, $400 worth of jeans, $500 for the new white sneakers I have, another $500 for another pair of sneakers, $110 for the leather jacket and then $250 on a pair of aviator sunglasses." I answered while lifting up the sunglasses on my eyes.
However, Batman didn't look as pleased as I did as he glared at me before speaking.
"And the rest?"
"Oh, that was on that Michelin-star place near his house. They had some pretty good food. Oh, and here's your card back. Thank you for sponsoring for everything." I thanked the man with a smile as I handed his card back before walking past him and towards the holographic computer table in the middle of the cave.
The moment I was a few feet away from him, I let out a soft sigh before grinning as Kaldur, Dick and Wally walked besides me.
"Dude, you're going to push it too far one day and you're going to regret that."
"I know, but until that day comes, I want to see if I can't make the Batman break his stoic facade." I spoke with a grin and Dick just snorted before we stood straight as Batman glided past us and stood besides the few members of the Justice League that had come with.
There were Batman, Flash and Aquaman, since their trainees are going to join The Team, along with Black Canary and Red Tornado as expected.
The unexpected part was Superman standing besides Batman with his arms folded and the two of us looked at each other before I smirked victoriously as he was the first to look away.
'Hahaha~ Superboy-1 : Superman-0.'
"As I'm sure you all are aware, we cannot and will not induct you all into the Justice League until you are ready. Therefore, we have decided to use this team as a way to see if you are. Formerly, this was the first gathering location of the Justice Society, but from now on, it will serve as your secret gathering spot. From here, you will be supervised by Red Tornado who has been ordered to report anything suspicious back to me. When you're not out on missions, you will undergoing and receiving training from Black Canary."
"Don't expect me to hold back." The very hot woman spoke and I ignored the subtle pokes from Wally along with his teasing grin as Batman continued.
"Finally, you will be given covert missions by me. These missions are ones the Justice League cannot agree to do in public and therefore, these are the missions that will be assigned to all five of you."
"Five, Batman?" Kaldur asked and instead of answering, my hearing was already focused behind us as I turned around only to stare at the green-skinned beauty that walked out of the tunnel along with her uncle.
The shoulder-length red hair that bounced with each step, the amber eyes that shone with a slightly innocent joy, the green skin that radiated as the light shone on it and the form fitting white top with the blue skirt and collared cape…
'Oh, I blame Mystique from X-Men for my love of hot women with abnormal-coloured skin.' One could say that she was also where my love for shapeshifters came from…in more ways than one.
"Hi~! I'm Miss Martian." Ms. Martian introduced herself with a smile and I was quick to grab Wally and Dick by their collars before they could swagger over.
"I'm…Superboy, I guess. This is Kid Flash, Robin and Aqualad."
"A pleasure to meet you, Ms. Martian." Kaldur greeted with a smile and Megan nodded as she shook his hand before I rose an eyebrow as she looked at me with a blush.
'Why…Oh, right. I forgot she had that TV show she liked and the guy there kind of looked like a more retro version of me.'
"I like your outfit." She said and my eyes widened slightly as I watched her own outfit visibly change to look exactly like a female version of mine minus the glasses.
"That's awesome. Do you change it yourself or does it change according to your will?" I asked as I dropped Wally and Dick to the ground and walked forward, rubbing the collar of her jacket while being surprised to feel that it actually felt like leather as she spoke.
"I-I-It changes a-according to my will." It was only at the end of her sentence that I realized how close I was and gave an apologetic smile as I took a step back.
"Apologies for that. I get kind of excited when I see something new."
"I-It's…Ahem! It's quite alright. I didn't mind."
"…You have to teach me your ways, man." Wally muttered with a shocked face and I rolled my eyes while shaking my head as Megan gave me a confused look.
"Don't worry about him. He's always in his own world."
"I am not!" He exclaimed, but the damage was already done as Megan giggled while I smiled.
"So, wanna give us the tour to let us learn more of the place?"
"S-Sure, if you want…"
"I would love to."
"Before you go…" However, as I went to walk away, I sighed as I heard Supes' voice speaking up, turning my head to see him staring at me with his arms crossed and a slight frown on his face.
"We need to talk."
"…Man, I wish I had some popcorn right now."
A/N: And this chapter is done~! I know I said the Android fight was also going to be this chapter, but I've decided to leave it for the next chapter along with going out to raid a factory for some drugs.
Also, Superman wants to talk, but about what…who knows? Let's find out in the next one.
