Chapter 1 - Downfall of Aryan

Introduction

This is the story of Aryan Paul, a young boy from a semi-urban region of Udharbond in Assam, India—a state globally known for its lush tea gardens and vibrant culture. Aryan comes from a middle-class family with dreams as big as the Brahmaputra River. He aspires to become an engineer and excels academically. His father, Riton Paul, is one of the most respected wedding planners in the region, known across Udharbond and Silchar, the second-largest city in Assam.

Life was steady and full of hope—until a single incident changed everything.

A Day That Changed Everything

Two and a half years ago, while Aryan was in Class 10, he experienced a traumatic event that shattered his world. That September morning began like any other. Aryan attended his school, Kanchakanti Vidya Mandir, unaware that the day would mark a turning point in his life.

During the morning assembly, his mathematics teacher, Mr. Golok Gwala—affectionately called "Gwala Sir"—called him aside. Gwala Sir was more than just a teacher to Aryan; he was a mentor and a guiding figure.

"Aryan," the teacher said gently, "please fetch your bag and follow me."

Puzzled, Aryan did as told and soon found himself at the school gate, where his cousin Mithun was waiting for him.

"Come, sit on the scooty," Mithun said solemnly.

Confused and concerned, Aryan peppered him with questions. "What happened? Why are you here? Where are my parents?"

Mithun hesitated before replying, "Your father is unwell… he's been taken to Silchar Medical College."

Shock flooded Aryan. His father had seemed perfectly fine just that morning.

Upon reaching Udharbond Hospital, Aryan saw his entire extended family gathered—faces drawn with grief. When he entered the room, he saw his mother and aunt weeping beside his father's still body.

A silence more deafening than any scream followed.

"Your father is no more," someone whispered.

Aryan stood frozen. His world collapsed.

After the Storm

Riton Paul's sudden death left the family in emotional and financial turmoil. Aryan's elder brother Ruhit, only two years older and still in college, took on the responsibility of their father's business. Aryan, on the other hand, spiraled into a deep mental disturbance. Diagnosed unofficially with germophobia and post-traumatic depression, Aryan withdrew from everything he once loved.

Despite their efforts, Aryan's family couldn't help him recover. From doctors to temples, nothing worked—until a visit to an ancient temple near Udharbond introduced them to an unusual priest.

"There's something strange about your son," the priest said. "His aura… it is unlike anything I've seen."

He advised the family to take Aryan to Haridwar for a ritual bath in the holy Ganges River, believing it might purify his spirit and release the burden he carried.

The Journey to Haridwar

A week later, Aryan, his mother Aarti, and brother Ruhit traveled for three long days to reach Haridwar. At the sacred ghats of the Ganga, they performed the rituals with hope in their hearts.

As they stepped out of the river, an aged, mystical man with a long beard and rudraksha beads around his neck approached Aryan.

"Aryan?" he asked, as if he'd known him for years.

Beside the old man stood a striking young woman in a white crop top and blue jeans—unusual for the setting. Her beauty was ethereal, almost celestial.

"Yes... that's me," Aryan replied, perplexed.

The girl smiled. "We've been waiting for you."

Shocked, Aryan and his family listened as the man, who introduced himself as Master Brahmanand—"Master Brahma" for short—revealed insights that no stranger should know.

"I know of your loss. I know the fire within you. Your mind is troubled, but your soul is destined for something greater than you can imagine."

He explained that Aryan's condition was not just psychological—it was spiritual.

"He's not just an ordinary boy," Master Brahma said. "No medicine on Earth can heal him because his spirit is tied to something far beyond our world. Aryan was born for a destiny that spans galaxies."

A Choice to Make

"Will he ever be okay?" Aryan's mother pleaded.

"He will," said Master Brahma. "But he must come with me. I will train him—not just in martial arts, but in knowledge, wisdom, healing, and power."

Aryan looked at his mother, then at the girl—Kiara, the Master's disciple. Everything felt unreal, yet something deep inside him resonated with the moment.

To Be Continued…

Who is Master Brahma really?

What is Kiara's role in Aryan's future?

Will Aryan embrace his destiny or retreat into fear?

The path has opened. Now the choice is his.
