This is a story of heroes or at least it was two hundred years ago when the super heroes first arrived on this planet Earth. The year was 2256 and the earth is in its sixteenth world war, but then the heroes arrived. No one knows where or why the came but when they did they ended the was in one week and after that all wars and crime has ended. But this is not that story because that is ancient history and those heroes are long gone. Its is now the year 2480 and we approach the start of the Tournament of Heroes where super powered heroes trade super powered blows in a grand tournament sixteen heroes go in and only one way leave as champion of earth. Let the championship begin!!
"Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the first round of The Tournament of Heroes!" said the announcer. "You all know the rules but just in case here they are!" suddenly a hologram apperad above the ring displaying the championship bracket. "Sixteen heroes will go head to head in a no holds bard fight with only three rules. One! All powers are allowed except for teleportation and flight. Two! All fights will last only six minutes. And 3! All fights must end with either a knock out or by popular vote by the audience." The hologram faded away as intense music started playing. "Now for the time you've all been waiting for!" Suddenly a beam of light shot in the ring from the sky mixed with lightning. "Here we go ladies and gentleman fight one is under was playing as the villain this match is Lightning Jolt!"
Lightning Jolt the villain of this match is a blonde woman wearing black leather boots and a yellow unitard which accentuated her wide hips and large breasts. She has a blue lightning bolt tattoo across her chest which was greatly exposed except for her nipples. Her fans cheered loudly as she appeared in a lightning bolt lightly singing the inside of the ring. "And playing as the hero in this fight is the Scarlet Centurion!" Appearing in searing light one the opposite side of the ring a seven foot tall man wearing a bright red spandex suit with a lance printed on the back of it. He flexed his muscles and the crowed cheered loudly and the house lights dimmed as the ring lights turned on with a loud clunk.
Four large satellite dishes lowered down from the ceiling and with a loud pop a hexagonal force field turned on around the ring. "Now let the match begin!" a loud bell rang and both heroes charged at each other with inhuman speed. Lightning shot out and crackled against the forcefield and fire scorched the ring in large beams of plasma. "Looks like Lightning Jolt barely dodged that one folks!" said the announcer. Suddenly Lightning Jolt kicked the Scarlet Centurion directly in the ribs and lightning jolted through his body. "Wow! That's gotta hurt!" said the announcer. Then the Centurion threw a lance made of pure fire at Jolt which she barely dodge with a backflip but not before in singed the front of her suit leaving one breast exposed. "You bastard this is my favorite suit!" she screamed as she ripped the other half off her breast. Suddenly there was electricity in the air as she screamed and a large bolt of lighting shot out of her chest and his the centurion directly in the chest. He fell of knocked out from the shock to his nervous system. "And we have a winner!" said the announcer "Lets hear it for LIGHTNING JOLT!!" The cowed cheered as she raised both her fists into the air releasing bring colorful lighting bolts high into the air.
This is Juniper city capital of the New United Nations of Earth where no crime had existed for two hundred years ever sense heroes started appearing on the planet. With the end of the last world war the people of Earth lived in fear for one hundred years because they were weak compared to the heroes who defend the world. Fear was what kept peace not the heroes. One day a group of heroes got together and started broadcasting a mock battle between each other. Some of the people started placing bets and before you knew it there was a new sport and the people of Earth were no longer fearful of the Heroes. The Heroes became something more than just a police force but a source of inspiration to the young and old alike.
One day they decided instead of Red vs blue or left side vs right side they would take inspiration from comic books from the twenty first century and pit Heroes vs Villains and before you know it the Tournament of Heroes had began. Now a new generation of heroes is here and fifty sixth official Tournament of Heroes has begun and the human race has known peace for over two hundred years because of it. Who will rain victorious and be crowned Hero of Earth.
