"What's with all the ruckus?" grumbled Hop Pop as he walked into the room, rubbing his eyes.
"We somehow downloaded Demon Slayer! Wanna watch?" asked Nicole excitedly.
Polly's eyes lit up. "HECK YEAH!"
Branch jumped up. "Let's do it!"
"Listen to my new poem first," said Hop Pop, clearing his throat dramatically.
"Nah," said Victoria, already hitting play on episode one.

[One hour later...]
The group was completely locked in. Nicole and Victoria sat back with smug smiles as Branch and Polly's jaws dropped at every sword swing and plot twist.
"I love Nezuko!" shouted Polly.
"That one guy with the boar mask is ME," said Branch proudly.
Hop Pop crossed his arms, scowling. "I don't get the appeal… swords, monsters, and overacting."
But when no one was looking, he peeked at the screen... then another glance... then didn't blink for twenty minutes.

[That Night...]
As the moon shone over Wartwood, everyone slept peacefully—except for Hop Pop.
He tiptoed over to Nicole and Victoria's phone, snatched it, and pressed play.
"Just one more episode... or five," he whispered.

[Next Morning]
"HUH?" shouted Nicole as she picked up her phone. "It's on 2% battery!"
Victoria looked at the screen, shocked.
"WHO finished two whole seasons?!"
Polly and Branch looked confused.
Hop Pop looked away, whistling suspiciously.
"I told you that show was nonsense," he said, trying to hide the dark circles under his eyes.
Nicole raised an eyebrow. "...Right."
