Chapter 10 - CHAPTER 10

Broken Laws, Burning Skies

In the scorched remnants of the Watchtower, two gods clashed beyond the scope of time.

Void Sentry and the Architect were no longer fighting with fists—they were battling with existence itself.

Each strike from Sentry rewrote physics. Every move from the Architect collapsed and rebuilt pieces of reality like lines of code being debugged mid-battle. Between them, the concept of "space" began to decay—planets blinked in and out of orbit, light bled backwards, gravity curled in on itself.

Yet the Void endured.

> "I don't care what I was made to be," Sentry growled. "I'm not your glitch. I'm your reckoning."

---

Earth – Metropolis

The sky burned violet.

Superman hovered above the city, his cape billowing in the unnatural winds. Beside him, Wonder Woman held her lasso tightly, its divine glow flickering. Green Lantern John Stewart gritted his teeth, reinforcing the shield dome protecting the city.

"What the hell is that storm?" Stewart asked.

Superman didn't answer immediately.

He was listening—to screams across the world, to silences where people were being erased.

And then he said quietly, "They're rewriting us."

Batman's voice buzzed through the comms from the Batcave. "Our universe is being debugged like a corrupted system. They're targeting anomalies—anyone who's transcended their original 'limits.' Meta-humans, reality warpers, even some gods."

"Like Sentry," Diana whispered.

"No," Superman replied. "Sentry's causing the rewrite—but now he's fighting to stop it."

---

Elsewhere… The Bleed

A rift opened in the dimension between realities. Flash, racing through the Speed Force, found himself pulled into a pocket of stillness—outside time. There, floating in crimson energy, was Mr. Monitor—a forgotten guardian of multiversal balance.

"You need to warn them," Flash said breathlessly. "They're collapsing everything!"

Monitor turned slowly. "This isn't just about collapse. It's about convergence. The Void… is beginning to rewrite the Architects' design."

Flash blinked. "Wait, he can do that?"

"If he remembers who he truly was before being fragmented."

---

Void Sentry vs. Architect

The battle reached its apex.

The Architect summoned its final form—an infinite geometric godform, burning with the logic of creation.

But Sentry was changing too.

For a moment, all his past selves merged—the original Sentinel-0, the unstable Robert, the broken Void, the compassionate man who once loved a dog named Scout.

> "I am more than your code," he said, radiating golden-black light. "I am what happens when a god chooses humanity over control."

He struck.

Not to kill.

To fracture the system.

Reality screamed.

The Architect shattered into a cascade of failing light and data.

But as it died, it whispered:

> "You've damned yourself. The others will come. The real ones. The Prime Architects."

---

Back on Earth

The rewrite stopped. The skies stilled. People remembered. The Moon reassembled. The world breathed again.

But in the shadows of space… something deeper had awakened.

Superman turned his eyes to the stars and felt it: the calm before an even greater storm.

Void Sentry landed on Earth moments later—barefoot, glowing, silent.

Robert Reynolds was gone.

What remained was neither man nor monster.

It was something new.
